Crosby, Stills and Nash will always exist, even if the members pass, their beautiful harmonies are legend. Funny, I am 69, remember when this song came out in 1982, and it is still as breathtakingly beautiful to me today as it was when I first heard it..

Background on the song Empress Joy
The song was written by Stephen Stills with help from Richard Curtis and Michael Curtis. In the CSN boxed set, Stills explained: "The Curtis Brothers brought a wonderful song called 'Seven League Boots,' but it drifted around too much. I rewrote a new set of words and added a different chorus, a story about a long boat trip I took after my divorce. It's about using the power of the universe to heal your wounds. Once again, I was given somebody's gem and cut and polished it."

One of my all time favorite bands especially when they teamed up with Neil Young! Empress you will enjoy listening to Crosby Stills and Nash singing live at Woodstock the song titled “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes” it’s an absolute joy to hear especially the live from Woodstock version! They are a mixture of rock and folk. David Crosby passed away in January of this year and the other two are still alive. Thank you for a wonderful reaction for perfect Sunday listening to song while cooking!

@@EMPRESSJOYJEAN Not a commonly known label of music.
Yacht rock is a broad music style commonly associated with soft rock, one of the most commercially successful genres from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s. Drawing on sources such as smooth soul, smooth jazz, R&B, and disco, common stylistic traits include high-quality production, clean vocals, and a focus on light, catchy melodies.

Blue Water Sailing song with ramifications still being discovered. That southern island of the Marquises is the island of Fatu Hiva. Approximately 23 days form southern Mexico on a mono haul. You will arrive at the Bay of Virgins. Durning April and May the constellation Southern Cross will be symmetrical. Only place on the planet. A vector through the cross straight to the horizon will be true south. The ancient Polynesians used the Southern Cross to navigate to Rapa Nui. (Easter Island). Recent genome studies have shown that Polynesian DNA is present in Columbian and Mexican native Americans.
