What truly inspires me is watching the music move you like it moves everyone who hears it. The way you clap the way you moved your hands to the rhythm. And indeed, the heavenly voices those three have.
😇
Their Harmonies are exquisite, try "Teach Your Children" a tune I love for it's message.
"You, who are on the road
Must have a code that you can live by
And so, become yourself
Because the past is just a goodbye
Teach your children well
Their father's hell did slowly go by
And feed them on your dreams
The one they pick's the one you'll know by
Don't you ever ask them, "Why?"
If they told you, you would cry
So just look at them and sigh
And know they love you"
This
Just a glorious performance of a beautiful song.
FYI. This is a great song by Steven Stills. Please check out Crosby, Stills, Nash & Neil Young. "Wooden Ships "
Favorite lyric "And Music is her name"
Crosby, Stills & Nash was the first supergroup. David Crosby came from The Byrds, Graham Nash was a former member of the Hollies and Stephen Stills was playing and singing at Buffalo Springfield. I love them.
This is one my favorite CS&N ever made, it make me want to sail with them, on the adventure of a lifetime.
They're mainly known for their vocal harmonies, but when Neil Young was with them they has some epic guitar duels as well. Check out their live version of Neil's song Southern Man from 1971. Incredible!!!
Cinnoman Girl great riffs.
Great harmonies always by these giuys as CSN and also with Neil Young as CSNY!
Sarah, hope you explore more CS&N. I have been fortunate and old enough to see them in concert. The Southern Cross is a star constellation visible South of the equator and was used for centuries for navigation by ancient sailors. It is quite striking to see it in person on a clear night.
Oh, are you in for a treat! I sing this all the time. Harmonies…wait for it…❤
This is my all time favorite song from these guys. It never fails to send shivers up my spine and Sarah your reaction was wonderful. You are a jewel.
Oh the Southern cross is a Crux constellation consisting of 4 stars✨, you can only see it in Southern hemisphere South of the Equator. Thank you Sarah for your response.
Beautiful! One of my favorite bands. Timeless!! 😅
Another beautiful reaction from you, Sarah. ❤
Formed in 1969, C,S & N were one of the first supergroups. Stephen Stills came from Buffalo Springfield, David Crosby came from The Byrds, and Graham Nash hailed from the British band The Hollies.
If you want to hear a glorious tune from one of those groups, I would heartily suggest "Turn, Turn, Turn" from The Byrds. More exquisite harmonies await you, should you go that route. 😉
Thanks Jerry 😊
I believe I requested this quite a while back, now here it is!! I thank you lady. 🌹❤️🌹
And thank you, Michael!! 🥰👃✌️🇨🇦
An excellent choice
Hard to imagine better harmonies. They were equally great live.
How amazing!
My very first concert was CSN my older brother took me and my older sister I was 12, needless to say that was the first time I ever seen a joint lol someone had passed it down, I'm holding it and asking my brother, "Larry, what is this?" He say's, " just pass it down" lol But I am a huge fan of CSN and Young to this day, RIP David Crosby, thsnk you for sharing your reaction ☮️
You and you'res have a fantastic weekend Sarah from CORPUS CHRISTI TEXAS🤠
Thank you for sharing this. When I was 26 I heard this at a concert of theirs on a farm. My friends and I sat on blankets on a grassy hill.
What wonderful harmonies! Loved these guys since 1970!!
Beautiful song! I love the sound of CS&N. They were one of the folk rock supergroups of the 60's-70's. They all came from previous groups & were known for their great harmonies. They have a huge catalogue of songs such as "Marrakesh Express", "Wooden Ships", "Helplessly Hoping" etc. Another great album is "Deja Vu" where Neil Young joined them "Teach Your Children", "Woodstock", "Carry On", "Our House" etc. Sadly David Crosby passed away recently.
Lots of great recommendations below. My favorite song by CSN is "Our House". Great reaction!
Always great harmonies. And socially conscious
The 'captain' of the sailing yacht is the lead guitarist, Steven Stills. BTW, they wrote the original in 1969!
I loved how much you enjoyed this "golden oldie" thanks for sharing!
The "radio" version here leaves out a verse. It's a great song, especially for those of us who've been on a ship and sailed south of the Equator. In the Navy we're called "shellbacks." The Marquesas are an archipelago south southeast of Hawaii, and northeast of Tahiti.
I saw them do this live in San Francisco many years ago. It's hard to pick a favorite Ctosby Stills and Nash song, but this comes pretty close to utter perfection! Thank you for a wonderful reaction!
And please don't forget CSNand Young.... 🥰🥰👍👍🇨🇦
I recommend their first 9sef-titled) album to you. It came out in 1969, and it changed rock music. NONE of us had ever heard three men singing like this. Most of the songs on it are special!
That was the short version of the song, there is a third verse. you should check it out!
good video, nice theme, greetings from Uruguay ❤😊✌️🇺🇾
Love this song! Takes me back! ❤
I saw the Southern Cross for the first time in Botswana on a photo safari.
Their harmonies will endure - no voices like theirs and CSNY!
Hey Sarah watch the live version!!! You will love it.
gordon lightfoot, is another good one
💙💚
Graham Nash's profile in the dark shots always remind me of a lion.
Beautiful reaction!
Beautiful reaction. Peace out.
More folk rock, please.
Great song and love how you react to never heart master peaces. Did you hear already “Tomorrow started” from Talk Talk ? (Sorry if I used wrong chanel)
Check out Crosby, Steels, Nash and Young
I understand that there are copyrights and RUclips rules. Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young were the hottest group around for about 2 years in 1970. They had a unique sound and harmony. This is their biggest hit.... ruclips.net/video/4lx86B6a3kc/видео.html
I dig your vibe
The best sailing song ever
If you want harmony try A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square by the Manhattan Transfer
You have to listen to Calypso by John Denver. It makes you feel good like this one does!
Jimmy Buffett did a great cover of this song, as well.
Now you really MUST listen to Wasted On the Way
This version is missing and entire verse!
I loved this song but never paid much attention to the lyrics. Reading the lyrics now all these years later, it sounds a tad nefarious. 🤔
This is a perfect example of why I wish those new 5 man boy bands have to leave these guy's songs alone. JMHO .don't shoot the messanger... :)
i only like Crosby Stills and Nash from the 1960 to 1970 they lose me in 1980 sorry but to me they lose they soul by the 1980 .
Buffet could only dream to sing like this
