What truly inspires me is watching the music move you like it moves everyone who hears it. The way you clap the way you moved your hands to the rhythm. And indeed, the heavenly voices those three have.

Their Harmonies are exquisite, try "Teach Your Children" a tune I love for it's message.
"You, who are on the road
Must have a code that you can live by
    And so, become yourself
Because the past is just a goodbye
    Teach your children well
Their father's hell did slowly go by
And feed them on your dreams
The one they pick's the one you'll know by
Don't you ever ask them, "Why?"
If they told you, you would cry
So just look at them and sigh
    And know they love you"

Crosby, Stills & Nash was the first supergroup. David Crosby came from The Byrds, Graham Nash was a former member of the Hollies and Stephen Stills was playing and singing at Buffalo Springfield. I love them.

This is one my favorite CS&N ever made, it make me want to sail with them, on the adventure of a lifetime.

They're mainly known for their vocal harmonies, but when Neil Young was with them they has some epic guitar duels as well. Check out their live version of Neil's song Southern Man from 1971. Incredible!!!

Great harmonies always by these giuys as CSN and also with Neil Young as CSNY!

Sarah, hope you explore more CS&N. I have been fortunate and old enough to see them in concert. The Southern Cross is a star constellation visible South of the equator and was used for centuries for navigation by ancient sailors. It is quite striking to see it in person on a clear night.

Oh the Southern cross is a Crux constellation consisting of 4 stars✨, you can only see it in Southern hemisphere South of the Equator. Thank you Sarah for your response.

Another beautiful reaction from you, Sarah. ❤
Formed in 1969, C,S & N were one of the first supergroups. Stephen Stills came from Buffalo Springfield, David Crosby came from The Byrds, and Graham Nash hailed from the British band The Hollies.
If you want to hear a glorious tune from one of those groups, I would heartily suggest "Turn, Turn, Turn" from The Byrds. More exquisite harmonies await you, should you go that route. 😉

My very first concert was CSN my older brother took me and my older sister I was 12, needless to say that was the first time I ever seen a joint lol someone had passed it down, I'm holding it and asking my brother, "Larry, what is this?" He say's, " just pass it down" lol But I am a huge fan of CSN and Young to this day, RIP David Crosby, thsnk you for sharing your reaction ☮️

Beautiful song! I love the sound of CS&N. They were one of the folk rock supergroups of the 60's-70's. They all came from previous groups & were known for their great harmonies. They have a huge catalogue of songs such as "Marrakesh Express", "Wooden Ships", "Helplessly Hoping" etc. Another great album is "Deja Vu" where Neil Young joined them "Teach Your Children", "Woodstock", "Carry On", "Our House" etc. Sadly David Crosby passed away recently.

The "radio" version here leaves out a verse. It's a great song, especially for those of us who've been on a ship and sailed south of the Equator. In the Navy we're called "shellbacks." The Marquesas are an archipelago south southeast of Hawaii, and northeast of Tahiti.

I recommend their first 9sef-titled) album to you. It came out in 1969, and it changed rock music. NONE of us had ever heard three men singing like this. Most of the songs on it are special!

I understand that there are copyrights and RUclips rules. Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young were the hottest group around for about 2 years in 1970. They had a unique sound and harmony. This is their biggest hit.... ruclips.net/video/4lx86B6a3kc/видео.html
