When painting on a vertical surface, it helps to have a pencil or chopstick or something to press the edges down when you spray over them to make the edges cleaner.

I usually search for the stencils online just like you did, move that into photoshop, print it and then cut it like you did!
Can be useful for someone who doesn’t have the time to draw then cut, like me! :)
    Skech, you’re the best! ❤️

Man, you are great, I have just started working with spray cans and you are helping me immensely with your videos. At the moment your stencil vid is great, I'm 65 years old and this is all new to me and I don't have much money to use on it so doing my own stencils is a great idea. Also I just wanted to say your videos are ALL very professionally made and easy to learn from. Thank you very much.

When the box cutter knife gets dull you don't have to break it off at the breakpoints. You can break off between breakpoints. The blade gets a nice point again and lasts longer. I've been doing this for years with small injector type razor blades and breaking off little pieces with pliers. My razor blades were held in an exacto knife hold they lasted a very long time.

Interesting. Looking to do it with contact paper for crafts etc. Two things I also never knew that the back end cracks the blade. I also have art type exacto knife set. Also never thought to trace on screen! Despite many videos no one shows actually using the various stencils they make. I only want some simple words and designs so this helps me a lot. And I’m old. Keep up the good work and self expression all you young people!

I've had to do this before. I also found a sweet yard sale deal a few years back on an old skool overhead projector. We would have probably lost our minds back then, if we could have seen how easy it is to print on transparency sheets these days.😂 We had to trace them by hand.
On the plus side, my paper machete topogragical map of South America in *_6th grade_* was so good, my teacher thought one of my parents made it.🤣
