I love the Sunday content while the dragon is on the house work al the fuel pipes can be a pain in the scrotum love them old Audis they were like tanks Al 👍
Look at that eh Vorsprung durch Technik. 😄 Slogan was first used on 1971 NSU Ro80 brochure. Great entertaining video Al. Super gesture by your Australian subscriber.
Loving you saving both cabs. You’ve got to keep one of them. My cab has had at least 2 fuel leaks over the years. Had the fuel lines all changed now. Fingers crossed no more fuel leaks.
Great channel by the way I think I started watching when you had a 700 subs , hope the RUclips is working for you , love the variety and you get stuff finished and gone it's a proper business
Al, my Audi 80 had immobilizer problem and i ended up removing fuse number 19 on the fuse block and the car would run. She will make someone a great car. hopefully someone will get her back on the road.
I had one of these in about 2002 lovely looking car but very underpowered wouldnt pull the skin of a rice poodin !!i swapped it 4 a 2.8 E36 beemer that was much quicker these are nice looking cars i think princess diana even had one 😊😊
Oh Fudge, she who must be obeyed won't let you play boating 😢. Ze Germans do know how to make ze motorcars!👏I can't believe it came to life as easily. Enjoyable as always, thanks Al.😁
Great watercolour. Maybe someone else could cover you both in oils.......... actually you both seem to do that yourselves on a regular basis.. That Audi is definitely well worth saving. Those 5 cylinder 20V engines are great. I had the 1.8 20V in my Seat Ibiza Turbo but unfortunately I had to sell it because the running costs got too high , primarily because of speeding fines.
The same engine I had in my beloved 100 2.2 auto. The Audi's from this era were the ones to have. When I mistakenly scrapped mine at 20 years old (thinking it had terminal bulkhead rust, didn't know about the scuttle drain "duck beak" thingy 😢), all the little bulbs in the leccy window buttons STILL WORKED ffs. The only time it failed to start was sfter it had been to the body shop for a door repair and THEY forgot to secure the battery terminal.
I was looking forward to the boating you was going to do was a good idea cleaning it up and get it running a while looking with a little work be a good car and can see it being sold quickly as it's a retro Audi but your wifes one is alot nicer and better today didn't seem right on your own without fudge but was still good mate 👍
One of the 200s had the grim cloth interior was that metallic green colour as I remember it ate turbos because it didn't have the electric pump on the cooling
I had several Audi 200s of that era A C and E reg turbos and Quattros the OBD was a switch flap inside the air intake you flicked it and the tachometer pointed out the codes as I remember , nice cars but very German , the body will be galvanised on that one from the age it started in 86 I think
AL its a 2.3 10v we never had 20v in the Cabs in UK still am awesome project for Someone hopefully few of our Group member watching the link ive shared and want to save it !!!
Not starting finished mine , changed everything I thought ,but they have two crankshaft censors I only changed one , never know if it was the wrong one , did it’s turn anyway
hi al..its John who bought the audi 80..all running and road legal now :) great car.. dont suppose you still have the tow eye cover grill still? see its on the screen in video..
Shame Fudgie lets himself get distracted from important watery playtime... He missed some vunderba germainiac redesigning of said fuel splurge containments....
