- I am a Dental Assistant, a cat momma, and love gardening. I am close to Canada border and my climate experience would attest that my zone is dependent to what’s going on in Canada 😂, so My zone is more of 7b a lot of times than 8A. I specially love English romantic roses, English style of gardening, meaning balance clean structural gardening designs,
and of course houseplants!
In this video, I am showcasing another romantic English rose from David Austin called, Crocus! Beautiful specimen though consistent in having mildew which I get tired at times treating it and trust nature will take care of the problem as long as it won’t spread to other roses.

Beautiful flower! How do you get them bloom so big? I saw some other Crocus video, they are all kinda small. Is it because of the cold weather? 😅
Thank you! i am not sure of crocus blooms habit in the warmer zone, I’ve always thought it’s bloom size is what’s expected. It’s a vigorous grower for me, and with Tons of flowers right now.
