Found this during quarantine because I wanted to change up my makeup and wear something LIGHTER and easier than liquid. Loved this tutorial. I am a bit weary of using bare minerals because I've heard it isn't great for acne prone skin (Love the complexion rescue, but the actual original foundation). If my color comes back in stock, I will definitely think about purchasing! Xoxo
Dermatologist actually recommend bare minerals for acne prone skin, you should definitely give it a try!

Very good tutorial, beautiful result!! This is my favourite foundation, I use it every day. I just wanted to say that you can 100% use cream products on top. I often use a cream concealer and cream blusher on top of this, then swipe a thin layer of bareminerals mineral veil.

The foundation stick is glowy and very hydrating. The liquid foundation is more matte.

Bare Minerals is CREAM actually. That's why you do the buffing motion as the Minerals heat up from the buffing motion they turn into a cream. That's where the Glow comes from also why it sits so well over other cream products.
Thats not why you do the buffing motion. Bare minerals is not cream. You do the buffing motion so it buffs into your skin and gets mixed with your natural oils to turn sort of creamy. Also the glow comes from bismuth oxychloride which some people are allergic to.

I know a lot of ladies who have used BM for like 20 years, since highschool and were in our late 30s. They're skin always looks good and radiant. They also buy big super sizes on QVC lol
I find something is interacting with my bare minerals. I get a little pilling/broken up look. Do you find certain skincare products that don’t work well??

Bareminerals was the first foundation I wore as well in high school . I thought it looked pretty. Then a couple of years later I found out I'm allergic to bismuth oxychloride. That's what gives the foundation the luminosity. I didn't know too much about makeup then. When I went to college I started using liquid foundation. Then for the summers I went back home and I started using bare minerals again and my face started to break out and get itchy.
I wish they would remove that ingredient

I’m so upset bc I spent a lot of money at the bare minerals store and they completely botched my shade matching. I am pretty pale and they matched me with golden tan for a foundation lmao. I didn’t really know what was going on so I took it and now I’ve had this foundation I’ve basically never used. I get so upset thinking about it 🙁

I’m sad I can’t return this, I love the powder but it’s so hard to find my shade. That’s a good idea to use as a bronzer, that’s most likely what I’ll do as well
