Thanks for watching!
Jim Kelly would go through an abusive night from the Steelers' D.. Rod & Kevin in particular were making it an awful night!
#Pittsburgh #Steelers #RodWoodson #KevinGreene - Спорт
Playing the Steelers at home on Monday night during that time was suicide
Yeah they were lights out on Monday night back then
Any game v that 94 D was a bad day, especially in three rivers
Magic Mike three rivers baby yes sir 🔥🔥🔥
The Browns harassed the Steelers all night at heinz field the other day lmaooooo
2:42 in 1994: Great defensive play resulting in a TD.
2:42 in 2019: Roughing the passer.
2:42 in 2020: Social distancing violation.
Not going to lie, you have the best Steelers sports channel on RUclips, your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed 💯
I appreciate it so much!
Facts
This is back when you could actually HIT in football..... i love this
Huge facts
The Pittsburgh Steelers are the best team ever in the NFL
I was at this game. It was electrifying!! Going to a game at 3 rivers was the best I miss that stadium
I’ve been a die hard STEELERS FAN for almost 30 years and Woodson, Greene & Lloyd are three of the greatest!! I’m only 38 y’all so don’t go all back to the 60’s/70’s on me 😂😂😂 but 💯💯💯... And most hate me here in Chicago too I don’t care #SteelerGang#
Let Im hate SENOR, YOU ARE RIDING 1ST CLASS, THOSE IN 2ND & 3RD ALWAYS HATE !!!
I can go back to '72. I am thinking your parents brought you up 'right'. They were GREAT in every era. They were the VERY BEST in my era. If they lost a game other teams did not want to play them next week. That '76 season was unreal defensively. This a video that interviewed Jack Lambert around on RUclips somewhere. Don't for get to check it out.
Richard Campbell honestly none of that don’t even matter to me, I wasn’t born then so it don’t count in my book. I’m talking about with my own eyes, and again like I said, the Steelers are 2-2 in the Super Bowl since I been alive. Much respect to the steel curtain era but again I didn’t see it. I can tell you a lot about shit on RUclips from back in the 70’s and 80’s again, that don’t count because I didn’t see it #SteelerGang#
I’m from Chicago too go Steelers nation !
I hope people realize who was in the secondary with Rod that made it possible to jump that route! I saw Carnell Lake, one of the unsung safeties the N.F.L ever produced! Rod Woodson was vicious on his own,yet they had serious backup !and we have always built our players, way before the draft & free agency, we were HOME GROWN !!!
Had a discussion with some of my football buddies not to long ago. We talked about if you took all the teams greats through the years and created a full roster who would have the best team. Even my friends who were not Steeler fans admitted they couldn't think of a better team. I mean you imagine a defensive backfield that had Mel Blount, rod woodson, Troy polamalu and Donnie shell. Linebackers galore like Lambert, ham, russell, Lloyd, green, watt, Kirkland, gildon ECT. D-line mean Joe, Dwight white, Aaron smith, Casey Hampton, kimo von oelhoffen, Keith willis, cam heyward. My goodness the defense alone would be untouchable and the offense wouldn't be too shabby either. Great video on a forgotten gem of a night for the Steelers.
That would be some great football.
YOU SIR are a ANOINTED SCHOLAR of TRUTH and STEELER HISTORIC UNDERSTANDING !!!
As a Steelers fan, I've often thought about this. How about having just prime Woodson and Polamalu on the back end? Insane. Then you throw in guys like Blount, Lambert, Harrison, Lloyd, Mean Joe . . . there is no better individual defense that could be created from one organization's players. I mean even if you limited it to the last 25 years, their top players-D would be better than any other team's. I'd go with Woodson and Ike Taylor at corner. Pola and Fitzpatrick at safety. Linebackers - Watt/Lloyd, Harrison, Shazier, Timmons/Kendrell Bell. D line: Heyward, Hampton, Aaron Smith/Tuitt. You wouldn't move the ball on that D, and it doesn't even include any of their 1970s players. Steelers = top drafting team in NFL over the last 40 years, top 5 over the last 20 years.
@@charlesstevens6705 thanks I like most Steelers fans have been raised a Steeler fan and have been passionate about it through the years. Got pictures from birth to present of me sporting black and gold and have only missed one Steeler game since 2001. I've always noticed it seem to go deeper with Steeler nation fans than any other fan base I've been around and I've loved that.
Don’t forget Debo (#92 James Harrison)
Mel Blount and Rod Woodson. The 2 Greatest DB's in the History of the NFL!!!
ANYBODY that would take Dion Sanders over Woodson is BRAINDEAD!!
Absolutely. You got it all with rod coverage, int's, deflections, run support, sacks, kick returns and leadership.
And he's not SCARED to tackle unlike someone else 'cough' Deion
Man, I remember this game... probably have it on VHS somewhere... absolutely crushed them. I loved that defense... they just got after it... Greene, Lloyd, Brown, Gildon, Woodson, Perry, Lake, Kirkland, Seals... the team was stacked on defense. If we could only have found a quarterback.
Don't sleep on Gerald Williams either. People forget about him because he wasn't on the 1995 team, but he straight bulldozed a man to be in position to recover that fumble in the endzone.
Chad Brown is out there too,as well as Levon Kirkland a 300 lb middle line backer !!
2:42 ouch
I remember staying up late to watch this game and I still remember that sack.
Thanks for this blast from the past. I tended to root for Jim Kelly because he's a yinzer from the 'Burgh. Except when he was up against the STEELERS.
I had this game taped and must've watched it 10 times before someone recorded over it. Love this!
Taking Kelly to the cleaners ... no need ... Kevin Greene was pressing that jersey all game.
Love it Itz ... Nice vid.
I was at this game. Defense was so dominant that night
Growing up in a house of Houston Oiler fans/season ticket holders Pittsburgh was the only team that was FEARED in our house.
The fact that this steeler team didn’t win a super bowl makes me physically sick
I agree ..loved watching that team play back then especially the defense ..even comparing it with the Roethlisberger teams of this era …great, great defense
RIP Kevin Greene, sack specialist, one of the best to ever do it, no question.
One of my buddies used to argue with who was a better cornerback. Rod Woodson or Dion Sanders. Yes Dion was a great cover corner but was a little wimpy in run support and how often did he blitz as a corner. Rod Woodson was the best overall corner of his time. A great cover corner, a great tackler in run support and he was an excellent blitzer!
Me: Man that is a nice pick six to open the video.
Me realizing Kevin Green is in this video: Well there's one you don't hear about much
That was a nice snap recovered by the browns for a TD lmaooooo
Literally Devin bush and minkah in a nutshell
TOO SOON to make that assumption but DAMN I HOPE SO!
If they stay together and produce then we can make the comparison
That brings back memories!!! The Steelers was damb good through out my high school years

I was 2011-2015.. Only got to see a Tebow playoff loss, back to back 8-8 seasons and a disappointing Ravens playoff loss 😔
@@ItzYinzburgh Yep it all fell apart after the Tebow OT Playoff loss. And a disappointing playoff loss to the Jaguars at home in 2017. And then it fell apart again after the Jaguars playoff loss.

First Steelers game I attended. This solidified the changing of the guard in the AFC. Buffalo had represented the conference in the Super Bowl four consecutive seasons (1990-1993) and during that stretch had defeated Pittsburgh three times, including a 24-3 pasting at Three Rivers Stadium in the 1992 AFC Divisional Playoff Game. This was a team the Steelers needed to defeat to cement their ascent to the top of the AFC. It was the second victory (Pittsburgh won 23-0 the previous season) during a current stretch of winning 10 of 12 vs. Buffalo and has seen them reach the Super Bowl four times compared to the Bills' 0.
1994 Week 11 consisted of mostly close games- 11 of 13 games that week were decided by a touchdown or less. This was obviously not one of those.
I watched that game and loved every minute of it.
The Steelers put ass whooping on the Bills.
Just like those browns and bengals did lmaoooo
I was at that game ! One of the greatest memories of my life ! 😁😎👍👍
Was at this game as a kid with my dad. Was one of the best times ever.
Here’s proof why I wanted n got Woodson autograph!!!! Thank you Mr. Woodson!!!!!!!
Yessir!!! Keep em coming bossman! Love your vids!
I was about to go to bed, but now i might not
Thug life
I absolutely loved that Pittsburgh Steelers defense from that era.
This has quickly become my favorite youtube channel.
Thanks for always watching! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it!
I was so hurt and upset when the steelers let these guys walk in free agency especially rod Woodson. We need to get back to having dominant defensive guys like this.
I was at that game. Awesome memory!
I remember this game, we showed no mercy on those Damn Bills.
They Dominated the AFC for many years and the Steelers early on couldn't figure them out. 1993 was where the Buffalo puzzle was finally solved.
Never realized it before....Kevin Greene looks like a heavier version of Joe Walsh!
You should do a video specifically about Kevin greene, we lost him way too soon 😢, Steeler Nation will never forget his sacrifice for the team that all of us know and love,
YOI! YOI!
The good Ole Days. Awesome footage.
Best Sports Highlights On RUclips Legit Also Biased Cause I'ma Steeler Fan But Your Page Is Dope
Thank you so much!
This was OFFICIALY the end of the Bills reign in the AFC.
Miss that defense. Woodly and Deebo were good but I would take Lloyd and Greene any day. Wished Greene and Woodson stayed, specially since Woodson continued to play elite football after leaving.
Man the Raiders (my team) & the Steelers had some bloody bone breakin wars that steel curtain wasn’t no joke & the hard ass hittin Raiders man was the two hardest defenses of all time even tho I hate the Steelers I always gave them they respect much love blacc & yellow
Those teams were NASTY!
@@ItzYinzburgh bro put teams like the 2005 patriots against one of them two in that era I’m sure Tom Brady wouldnt be called a GOAT no diss to him tho
Jim Kelly took a beating man...
#SteelCity #LetsGo
R.I.P Kevin Greene
This team deserved a super bowl win. Fucking Neil O’Donnell.
JIM Kelly's 5th worst day ever, right behind loosing 4 super bowls...
Rod is the GOAT of all DBs. There might be a better safety or a better CB, but none as good at both. Only other ones in that conversation are Ronnie Lott and Charles Woodson.
Rod Woodson was really instinctive pretty playing the Troy Polamalu position at cornerback..but Rod once said he always was a safety until he got to Pittsburgh
Kevin greene was unstoppable on this night
One game I absolutely knew the Steelers would win.
#HEREWEGO
Can't believe Kevin green passing away rest in peace Kevin Greene
There was just something about 3 Rivers. I've never been to a Steelers home game before, but Heinz Field just doesnt have the same "home field advantage" 3 Rivers did. Back then, If Pittsburgh was playing at home......put another tally in the win column.
Need a Chris mua'matafala
How painful is the fact that Greene never got his SB ring and that Woodson got his with the Ravens, so sad!
For sure. Was always glad woodson said when he went to the hall he went in as a Steeler though. He shoulda had one in 96
Thats right, If O'Donell would only...neh what is point?☹
He got one as the LB coach w GB v the Steelers. How ironic
@@Biggdoom344 I totally forgot that, you are right, thanks!
Letting Rod Woodson go was the 2nd greatest Steeler blunder after not drafting Dan Marino
Rip greene
When the Steelers were the Steelers
Rip Hawkeye!
0:23
Rod Woodson Cornerback (26)
Pick 6
I thought this squad was going to the Super Bowl. #threemoreyards
2 Bills fans watched this.
steelers offense: 9
Bills offense: 10
Final score: steelers 23 bills 10
Three things was definate in the mid 90s. Death, taxes and the bills getting their brains beaten in three rivers stadium.
Steelers own MNF.
Love to see the crowd dressed like civilians. So weird to see people dress head to toe in gear like they do these days.
They got rid of Greene way to early
I thought rod Woodson played for the ravens...
What up yinzburgh
Hi Justin!
@@ItzYinzburgh yo whats good
Game wrecker Rod Woodson.
Back when you could hit the quarterback.
DO A FACE REVEAL
Was this the same game where Gary Jones decapitated Don Beebe?
