I’ll tell you what.. Shutouts never get old! Hope to see one from this modern D but with the new NFL rules, it’s so hard. It’s great to watch guys like Lloyd, Lake and Woodson make some awesome plays! Videos coming everyday 🖤💛 Don’t forget to like & subscribe - Big season ahead!!
Steelers fan since 83’ favourite time was the 90s. Loved that team. Pounding the football and kickass defence. Real football. Great job posting these mini games. 👍 keep them coming.
The first one I was truly able to witness, was the 01’. I was spoiled from 01-12 with some stellar D. Hit me like a rock when guys like Blake, Mitchell & Cockrell made up the secondary
What I like about being a Steeler's fan since I was old enough to walk in the 70s, is that almost every year, you can take the names and numbers off of the jerseys, but it still is just Steeler's football.
Seeing the Bungles get shut out is a special treat, add Boomer Esiason and Three Rivers Staium makes it extra special! Here we go Yinzburgh here we go!
Its the Yinz .....I swear I really do LOVE &RESPECT your work yet ,I gotta say I reall footballhate Neil O'Donnell for throwing away that Super Bowl. Can you please show me who he was throwing that ball to in the Bowl !!! Thank You
@Donald Davin I believe on one throw it was to Corey Holiday the other throw was to Andre Hastings. Charles Johnson went on injured reserve after the Houston game in week 14 and missed the remainder of the season including the playoffs.
@@jimsauerland3844 You’re right the article talked about the interceptions and the Steelers loss to the Patriots not O’Donnells loss, read it wrong it was SB30
What’s fascinating about the 90’s Steelers team is the defense was so dominant. The offense however didn’t get Bettis until later in the decade. I always wondered what difference he would’ve made against the Cowboys and even against San Diego the year before. I always got the sense they didn’t have the horses on offense to do what was needed in those games which unfortunate because. The Giants had a similar problem because until Coughlin got there the offensive line was not top priority so getting to Super Bowl was cool but we couldn’t handle Baltimore because the philosophy wasn’t in place. I think once Faneca, Bettis, Farrier, Porter amongst others came aboard then you’d get hit from all angles offense and defense.
@@JonPITBZN agreed. I’ve been watching some vintage Steelers and I believe that a great running game plus stout d can win in the nfl. It’s still football, right? Trap ‘em!
If the Steelers had a great QB at this time . Neil was a good 3rd down QB , which isn’t a bad thing , but if he had more big play insight they would have won at least 2 Super Bowls

Thank you for watching! 🖤💛 I try to sprinkle in a little of everything into the channel, hope you enjoy it all year!
Nothing better then a Monday night football game at 3 rivers. It was magical
Exactly! Same with Heinz Field too. Steelers have never lost on Monday Night Football at Heinz Field.
After a day of dealing with this Arizona heat, I look forward to watching your videos, thanks...👍🏽
I’m glad! Love having you here, Tone! Hope the heat is more bearable!
@@ItzYinzburgh I've learned to deal with it, I guess, thanks for asking
The insane defense of that era i hope it repeats this season!
Speak it into existence!
Being a bit older than most of your subscribers, man have I been blessed to see some of the best defensive football teams in history.

This was cowhers first of many MNF wins
Gary Howe had a helluva game!!!
I like Seeing Tunch out there!
Yes, especially on the play where O'Donnell escaped being sacked 3x..Tuch PLANTS his guy twice! Got me smilin!
Seeing the Bungles get shut out is a special treat, add Boomer Esiason and Three Rivers Staium makes it extra special! Here we go Yinzburgh here we go!
HERE WE GO! 🖤💛
Dwight Stone never got the love he deserved. He was like a utility infielder for the offense!

@Donald Davin I believe that was Larry Brown both times, O'Donnell helped Brown get MVP of the SB shit happens, I guess🤷🏾

Cowher’s MNF debut
That nasty defense tho love it here we go steelers here we go
No Doubt!!! Man I can't wait for the season to start, here we go Steelers, here we go!!
HERE WE GO! 🖤💛 Yinz ready for the season?!
How underrated was Jerol Williams
He was a pretty good linebacker. Very quick and athletic. He was one of my favorite Steelers back in the early 90s.
The Pittsburgh Defense had several 💥💥BOOMS💥💥for Boomer!!!
Man, seeing Carnell lay some of those hits gets me pumped!
@@ItzYinzburgh No doubt!
Lloyd have mercy
Avoid Lloyd
This defense was amazing!!! Just think if we were somehow able to keep Nickerson the following couple of years 😳
Back when players were allowed to play
those 92-95 receivers were great!!
I remember watching this game in 1992
Will ALWAYS remember O’Donnell for his interceptions in the division playoffs against the Patriots 🤬
And of course the two infamous INT’s in Super Bowl 30.
Yes 🤬
O’Donnell never played New England in the playoffs.
@@jimsauerland3844 You’re right the article talked about the interceptions and the Steelers loss to the Patriots not O’Donnells loss, read it wrong it was SB30
All our other qbs made up for the interceptions he didn’t get to throw against the Pats lol.

Now that I think of it Bettis came in 96. For some reason I don’t remember him getting the ball against Dallas in the Super Bowl.
Foster lead the afc in rushing in 92!
The Bengals love their Redheaded and Blond Quarterbacks
Defense showed Boomer the bench. Love it. Steelers Nation 👍
You love to see it!! 🖤💛
That was the moment when Boomer realized he was so glad he played offense
I don’t know who stone is but in every vid he’s balling
The Steelers that year had 3 RBs who played significant roles as pass-catchers. Not something Steelers fans are used to seeing anymore.
Maybe not this year but maybe five years ago L’eveon Bell caught about 50 passes.
@@tacey01 It was the number of backs catching a significant number of passes that I thought was unusual.

Steve Furnace should be hall fame.
The bungles on national television? They can't bungle this up.
Spoiler: they did
If the Steelers had a great QB at this time . Neil was a good 3rd down QB , which isn’t a bad thing , but if he had more big play insight they would have won at least 2 Super Bowls
Dwight Stone 💪🏾
I wish we would have kept Hardy Nickerson!!
Siempre sere acerero
Barely see Woodson, cause you can’t throw at him 💀💀 only time I saw him he was in the backfield
OK Boomer.
