Re-mold Roulette. Genius. That was a next-level figure review mate. Really enjoyed it. I bought a Kenner Robin Hood bundle a few months ago, including Sherwood Forest playset - and I’m so glad I did. Love the history of it, and they display well too.
I owned every single one of those toys you showed! I was pretty mad at 10 years old when I realized that my Sherwood Forest looked exactly like an Ewok village I saw at a garage sale! I loved Robin Hood so much. That movie actually shaped me into somebody that has always loved history. Funny because there’s nothing historical about it, but it was absolutely awesome and I played with those toys forever. Recently I purchased many of those toys brand new in the packages again just to relive my childhood memories. Great video!
Came across your channel when looking up old Kenner figures I used to have, went on a deep dive of your videos when I couldn't sleep! absolutely love the enthusiasm you have and nostalgia factor of the content. Excellent stuff 👌🏻
Wow. That was absolutely incredible and comprehensive and a great look into a full toy line that I never otherwise would have looked at. Great to see all the repurposed figures and parts. You have set the bar bloody high on toy reviews. I loved it!
Great video, my man! One point that you may have overlooked, in my opinion, the reason we didn’t notice these were kit bashed from Star Wars, and super powers, is because of the most beautiful aspect of this figure line, which is the cloth goods! Where they saved money in tooling, for the molds, they made up for it, with the beautiful cloth goods!
This is a perfect toy review video. I love the Robin Hood toys, I got a Will Scarlet from Debenhams in a discount bin when I was 12. It was amazing. This video speaks to the soul of me as a child. Really well done.
Great job T! This is very well executed from start to finish. The cinematography is great and your commentary is hilarious. The fight scenes were the BEST! : ) Excellent work man!
I only collect horror figures, but you better believe that I'm watching anything Slimehouse puts out. There are levels to toy channels and Slimehouse is at the highest.
I don't know if this was the best video you ever put out, but it was definitely the funniest. And filming in Sherwood... Awesome! Prince of Thieves is still one of my favorites until today, and I'll still track down at least Robin from this line.
What an awesome watch...was for me the best one yet !! 🔥 so much work involved around the whole production...loved the editing...I was smiling watching the whole way through 😊 Top drawer Slime House👌 🔥
I know this vid is nearly a year old now but WOW - super fun look at a great toy line. My take: it's the soft goods that made this line iconic. Seriously! the soft goods are truly great.
Fascinating. I was obsessed with this film as a kid but only had the Will Scarlet figure. I was desperate for more but never found them anywhere, must have picked up that one figure when the last few were on sale or something. Starting laughing as soon as you took Friar Tucks robe off as I had that Star Wars figure! Found this video during a moment of nostalgia, thanks for making it.
Mate, that was awesome, funny and detailed. The fight scene was hilarious and the part on American accents, when playing is spot on. Brilliant mate😎🔥🔥🔥🔥
Once again you smashed it out the park man, I knew about the Star Wars re-purposing but the rest was a nice little surprise I legit love the amount of passion you put into each video 🤙
I did say the Robin Hood "G" looks like the letter C And I also said that it is possible that the so called "Black Headband" of the Sheriff is actually a part of his hair, since He has no Headband inside the movie
Just having a rewatch of this video and wanted to say that I'm 100% down for that proposed Die Hard line!! Also, the figure from the Robin Hood line that ended up in my toy box the longest was Will Scarlet. I used to put a cape on him and call him Bobin and teamed him up with a Kenner Batman that I had cut the ears off of and made into "Seal-Man". Good times.
I had the Azeem figure as a kid, awesome toy. I guess even if the actual fabric was there to disguise the re-use of parts, its what made these toys unique.
Awesome video again buddy, and nice to see you go to my neck of the woods (pun intended) to film it. And that is a dark secret. Like you said it is pretty cool that they got away with it.
You missed how all 90's movies had a song as well "Kiss from a rose" etc This one had "Everything I do" Bryan Adams I know cause my mom and the radio wouldn't stop playing it
I still have some of these figures and I remember when we got them me and my bro were, isn't that a Gamorrean Guard body? Isn't the Sheriff just Chainsaw from Robocop and The Ultra Police? Oh well!
This is exactly how I felt about Food Fighters. No one knew what they were, even more so because it wasn't even attached another form of media, but I absolutely loved the toy line. They were some of my favorite toys as a child and it almost bums me out that they've become these highly sought after collectibles today.
“…and other dog shit” hahaha that and your American accent re-enactment had me rollin’ Is the one catapult using Swamp Thing parts too? I might be getting confused because of the Battle Trolls crossover, because they definitely used Swamp Thing stuff
@@slimehousetv oh yeah totally! That’s one of the things from Battle Trolls too but the arrow is bright green which would look cooler for Swamp Thing haha and now that I’m looking, they used a bunch of Bucky O’Hare weapons too! Ridiculous
If you ever use a quiver, do not put the business end of the arrow where your hand goes. I owned that playset 8 years before this movie came out when it was called the Ewok Village.
We had the Costner heads in the U.S. in fact, all I could find in stores were the Costner heads. Adult collectors knew these were repurposed from other Kenner figures, and that made them kind of cool, since the toys they were repurposed from were the toys we had grown up with (at least for collectors in my age group). I think this movie must be more popular on this side of the Atlantic. Like The Princess Bride, it has a nostalgic fan following and is considered a minor classic for a certain generation. Yeah, it’s kind of doofy, but Gen Xers and older Millennials like it. I don’t find the toys controversial, though. To me, a controversial toy would be Matchbox Freddy, ‘79 Kenner Alien, pregnant Barbie, Mattel missile-shooting Battlestar Galactica toys.
I think you've just set yourself a new higher bar for your videos. Gonna be hard to top that one. As a kid I knew they reused parts from there other releases but I honestly didn't know that Hasbro reused Beastman for Mossman
Batman the animated series figures didn't come out until 1993 so after this toyline I don't think. So poison ivy and two face both use stuff from this toy line. Kenner likes to re use a lot of stuff for there toy lines.
My sister had it on vcr, saw it 4 times a day. I wouldn't play with them if they where bolted to my hands! She watched Durty Dansing the same way. Would have prefered that play set...
Now This is what I call a big budget toy review, even filmed on location, no corners cut. Really enjoyed this, you are the man Theo x
Haha thanks bro, I try! 😅👊🏹💥

Haha yeh there's a reason loads of em are missing and snapped lol appreciate you checking the video yo!
i use to have all these figures and additions. it was awesome. i think it’s all in the attic
You missed how all 90's movies had a song as well
"Kiss from a rose" etc
This one had
"Everything I do" Bryan Adams
I know cause my mom and the radio wouldn't stop playing it
Very good review and informative and you're right they should have put some Greenery on the Ewok Village
Theo Cane dropping the SUCKLORD mention? Truly the most street toy pros in the GAME.
Haha you know it! Love me some suck lord bro! 👊🏹💥
I had a few of these and yes I had hours of fun playing with them! Lol
11:23 Looks more like a C than a G
Amazing video and cool line,!
Thanks for the support always dude! 🏹💥
Kenner were geniuses at kick bashing. What accent is that you have,it's very strong? Great vlog,I want more.
This might be the best toy video ever made
Haha thanks dude, I think it might be my favourite I've ever made 😅🤔
I still have some of these figures and I remember when we got them me and my bro were, isn't that a Gamorrean Guard body? Isn't the Sheriff just Chainsaw from Robocop and The Ultra Police? Oh well!
Alan grimeman 😂. Great vid
From not like friar tuck! Haha 🏹💥
"The internet foils KENNERs well laid plans from the 80's and 90's." Another win for the internet!

Brilliant 🙂

Stormtroopers, cobra comandos, pikeman etc etc
Fucking brilliant.
