These train bodies were such an iconic part of the early diesel era, they are fantastic and the Santa Fe is the most recognizable and the most used in artwork, toys etc around the globe.
For sure!!
It would be so cool to have custom consists, I desperately want to have the F7s pull passenger *anything*. Even if it's Amfleets or Bilevels, maybe use the livery editor to make something for the MBTA cars. That would be awesome.
hi, there . i have a same content channel please visit once , if you like plz support me to grow.
That’s all we want. It even offers passenger as an consist option on custom scenario yet it just loads up the loco consist super frustrating
It's funny I've been down that road you are parallel to a million times. That area between Hesperia and Victorville is where I spent most of my life. It really looks like that.
Wow seriously how cool
hi, there . i have a same content channel please visit once , if you like plz support me to grow.
If you haven't tried any of the San Bernadino to Victorville you need to. The trains are way underpowered and you can't even do above 10 MPH and 1000 amps on the amp meter. This is way too high and too slow for these engines. They really should of tested these activities before they posted them in the game.
This exactly why i didnt do that trip lol
Just like real life! Underpowered to “save fuel”. Only give you enough power to be maxed out on TPA and barely make the hill.
Currently looking for advice on this exact problem. Sat at 9.5mph and 995 apms for the past half hour. Still got 6+ miles of 2%+ gradient to work through.
I wish they would cuz then it would feel more realistic. But it's made by British people 🙄 so I doubt they would
I did the route again with the month set to July. I was able to complete the route that time but like you said, the throttle was maxed out with amps pegging the top of the gauge the whole time, and a lot of wheel slippage. Another thing I learned the hard way is, be sure to turn on the overhead light at night. Also, learn where the engine start and run switches are. If the engine goes into a shut down mode, it’s a challenge to find them in the dark. I went to the training module several times and practiced how to locate them until I finally was able to do it. What can I say, I’m hooked!
A lot of the whistle boards are for warnings in narrow areas, bridges, tunnels, blind curves to warn anyone that maybe on the tracks. They are not always at crossings.
Love the content. Mostly, I love that you keep setting up these awesome little screen caps throughout the video so we can watch the train go by. Those shots look super good!
PS: I LOVE rain, so all the shots in the rain are awesome to me. Personally I prefer it over dry weather! And yeah, that’s not everyone, but don’t forget there are those of us who enjoy it ;)
I'm a sucker for rain. I'm ASMR sensitive so the sound of rain on metal is very soothing to me
Thank will keep that in mind!
Also thats literally all i do during long drives is setup and watch trains drive by in the sim lol
It is very soothing
For some reason I like Train simulator classic more. Maybe because of the longer routes and DLC. If they can stick to this and create more routes and DLC this will be great. Or maybe they are already working on Train simulator 4 😂😂
Lol
Brakes? We don't need no stinking brakes! Hot dog boy's gonna have some angry customers - no mustard!
Hahaha
11:23 Not sure if this is the answer but I've noticed whistle boards in real life on the Montana Hi-Line in places where there's no longer a need for them and where you won't see BNSF whistling. It's really small towns like Kremlin MT(?) where there's no longer a grain mill so no longer any cross traffic on the roadways and whatnot. The railroad apparently doesn't care enough to pull the sign. It could be that in Cajon there used to be a roadway and a need for a whistle board but since it's remote they just don't care enough to remove the sign.
The War Bonnet paint scheme was so good for ATSF.
I also hope they add the option to do passenger service with this train.
I hope so too
These locomotives would've looked so much better pulling the Super Cheif train but that's just me because I love that train
I agree tho
It was amazing to drive the F7 on the 4th of July and revitalize the old history of Santa Fe!
Yea i liked that scenario
Amazing visuals. Love the F7!
hi, there . i have a same content channel please visit once , if you like plz support me to grow.
I wish DTG would add the Tehachapi Loop into the game. Bakersfield to Mojave
Yea me too
It rains far too often for this route lmao We mostly only see rain in the winter here
Yep
hi, there . i have a same content channel please visit once , if you like plz support me to grow.
Does the area really see snow?
I'm glad train games are still being made. I'm still hoping for a train sim with essentially true to life physics in pretty much every aspect for cars/engines/weight/movement and good graphics(both). They seem to be getting close, but I'm not sure its quite there. I'd also like to see really long trains, where I can basically match the longest train ever made in real life if I wanted to.
Yea me too my friend
Run8 has everything you're looking for minus the graphics, which aren't great, but they become irrelevant compared to how goods the physics are.
In regards to the F7 sound mod, that has to be ported to the ATSF F7. Both units have the same sounds but aliased under different paths (cause they're different pak files). So that should be done maybe by the end of today? Stay tuned on the TSC for whenever it comes out. I think it was grigggs making it?
thanks
TSC?
hi, there . i have a same content channel please visit once , if you like plz support me to grow.
I remember seeing these when I was a child. My grandparents lived next to the tracks in Ohio. I believe they were in the B&O livery. Such an awesome sight.
Also u can use the bell for Grade Crossings
Oh yea!!
@@BluGames also the wiper control is a little gray button right next to the cab heater on the right side of it
I feel like the dynamic brake does little to nothing in the game, when or how are you supposed to use it?
Thank you again for another great video.
first time I've ever heard "nice" and "victorville" in the same sentence
Welp lol
I wish they added passenger cars to go with the locomotive.
Yep
Yes
Thank you, video is great! This old train looks incredible) Greetings from Ukraine!
How are you able to watch RUclips videos when evil Russia invaded and destroyed the whole country according to the media.
Hope you are okay there! Good vibes from Brasil!
Yeah I rather play sims than model railroading I build routes it’s just as cool and time consuming but less expensive besides a Good gaming rig and equipment you are ready to go
Yea true true
...as a kid in the 1960s... I used to watch the top Santa Fe passenger trains...Super Chief...Chief...El Capitan...etc...make the run at Raton Pass from the Trinidad Colorado passenger depot behind four or five War Bonnet F7s...a friendly engineer invited my brother and I up to look around the cab once...a memorable day...unfortunately I can't remember the unit number...I have a War Bonnet F7 HO scale engine in my display case that I have owned for at least 60 years...
Blu, the Burlington Northern painted their locomotives in Cascade green. The BN was formed in 1970 with the merger of the Great Norther, the Northern Pacific, the Chicago Burlington & Quincy, and the Spokane Portland & Seattle.
oh ok thanks
hi, there . i have a same content channel please visit once , if you like plz support me to grow.
Victorville is actually a cement industry own by cemex
The Santa Fe F7 looks cool. Just wish they'd work on better sounds for it rather than recycling the sounds which have been used already
Yep
hi, there . i have a same content channel please visit once , if you like plz support me to grow.
It blows my mind that this DLC has so much less content compared to its TS Classic counter part. The classic version has all the rail cars, routes, ect. With this you just get the locomotive. I hope they realize their mistake and update this DCL
Thats ashame
Nice Sim presentation. Just one small problem. Santa Fe Freights were pulled by Blue & Yellow Units. The Units displayed in your simulation were used to pull passenger trains. Other than that, I enjoyed your presentation. My Father worked for Santa Fe for nearly forty years in the B & B Division. My sister and I traveled on the Cajon Route many times with Dad and on our own in the 1950s.
I’m disappointed I thought I was going to see the passenger coaches too but I was wrong what a small world got to love it LOL
Yea would love to see the passenger coaches!
hi, there . i have a same content channel please visit once , if you like plz support me to grow.
That guy I don't think ever sold one hotdog or pretzel.
Lol
I have a question.....I got my Rail driver and is there a way to calibrate it?????
Yes go to controller setting and advanced settings in TSW
Nice video .. but need GT26 locomotives series on this game ... tain sim world? and they just make US and europ trains i did not see any world here
I found the wiper switch
It’s by the heater switch
That Santa Fe it looks like trev diesel
I am From India
Play a long journey gameplay
Burlington Northern was green and white
O ok
Oh it so shinyyyy!
Hey Blu Games, how do you turn on the flashing red light at the end of the train while driving it? I’m playing on Xbox with a USB keyboard and I can’t figure out how to turn on the flashing red light for the end of the train while driving my train, it’s very annoying to me that I can’t turn it on before I start driving my train somewhere. Is it a keyboard button or some type of control in the locomotive itself? Please help me on how to turn it on. Thanks! 16:36
Its supposed to be automaticly on the end of any freight train unless the last unit on the consist is a locomotive. But theres not button to activate it.. same goes on pc
FYI : This train has been in train simulator 2012 with same engine sound 👍🏻
Dang really?
Dang really?
@@BluGames yes they have 4 livery for EMD F7 in 2012 UPRR, SPRR, DRGW, and Warbonnet
I love everything about TSW3, but I have to tell the truth about the dynamic weather system. DT nerfed the rain/lightning storms..they look boring and nonexistent. No more awesome pics with beautiful lightning flashes with your favorite train. Bummer😡
Aw
Is this a modded livery? I've not been able to find a way to make Chrome using the in game livery editor on the ps4..(my pc isn't powerful enough to run TSW3)
Not possible to make chrome with livery editor.
This is a mod from the tsw3 dlc store
Also that was epic the over under shot around 10:20 perfection.
Wish TSW had correct physics, Slack action etc. They should just call it Train World, coz this is not a true sim! F7 looks good tho :)
Haha clever.. or Trains UK, US, GE
Can you help me I got the csx train from store but when I try to play on cajon pass but it doesn't pop up
Burlington Northern had that neon orange color scheme originally and I'm guessing always kept it
Very classic loco. Thanks.
hi, there . i have a same content channel please visit once , if you like plz support me to grow.
Polished metal not chrome. That A B B A set up would need more chrome than all the cars made in 1949
Ahhh ok thanks
What a magnificent train. I'm new to Train Sim world, this looks like a real beauty!
It is!
I always liked that silver and red on the Santa Fe. They should bring that back
Great to see the Devs fixing that draw distance 😳
hi, there . i have a same content channel please visit once , if you like plz support me to grow.
I really want train sim world 3 but I don’t know how to transfer things from train sim 2 to it.
If I can give you some gentle advice, next time use first service just before hitting the curve not on it. You could've also bailed out the independent brakes, that's another option as well.
When i drive the CSX Es44c4 on cajon pass, and i put full power, it reduces the amps for some reason.
Can someone tell me why?
Those European trucks as you call them, Ford and a number of US manufacturers make cab-over trucks, that's all they are is cab overs. We have Isuzu, NPRs, and a few others here in the US.
11:27-11:47 20 straight seconds of just streamliner classic horns
Yeaaaap
Sorry, but again the graphics get the effort and the simulation lags behind. I would have been willing to pay more for a much improved F7. For $6 it is worth it.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hesperia to Barstow doesn’t go through the Cajon Pass at all. Was hoping to see the pass. :( lol. If you have never read about it, read about the Cajon Pass train disaster.
So thought I'd chime in a bit about the signal light is also called a Mars Light. It does indeed wobble and traces a kind of infinity loop like path. Was invented by a chicago firefighter who realized that the movement of a light source would aid in catching attention of motorists to be alert of the fire fighters vehicles.
I remember the first time I actually saw that train I was I wanna say seven years old and it was in a movie cold silver streak with Richard Pryor and gene Wilder so I would love to see in that simulator that train pulling its passenger cars also when I was seven that was about the time the first Star Wars came out so we're going back some years but thank you for the video
Chrome is stainless steel
Sometimes there are whistle boards in locations with low visibility or in tight quarters where the trains will blow the horn in so people can get out of that area.
Free switching you could but they should add the ability to run the route after setting up ur consist in free switching now that would be awesome
And I also agree being able to choose what ur hauling would be very cool
Yes and yes
A 1951 Super Chief consist would totally make this even more awesome! Thanks for the video!
What do you perfect conjon canyon or crane creek??
Cajon
Nice alright cool
paint scheme is the war bonnet
Yeaaaaa
You need to do it, Burlington northern run on train Sim world
18:53 The Burlington Northern was green and black (with a little bit of white).
thats so cool! how do you access this train if you dont mind me asking? I looked for it in the store but i couldn't find it.
TYCO 1974 i HAD THE F7. iN FACT i HAD 4 OF THEM.
I did this route through the mountains in January and got stuck near the summit with no way to overcome the ice on the rails. I tried sanding the rails, and even waited for the sun to come up hoping it would melt the ice, only for snow to start falling about an hour later. Another approach I tried was dividing the consist in half and park those cars on a side track on the other side of the mountain, and go back to get the other half. That worked, but I soon discovered the switches were locked with no way to manually throw them. Also, I could not back down to get another run at it because another train was sitting several hundred yards behind me! The F7's are not powerful enough to pull the consist up 2.2% slopes in the Winter scheme.
Wow!!!! Yea its not strong enough
How many B units did you have?
@@RailroadEngineer123 TSW3 give you 2A’s and 2 B’s.
@@paulhicks451 it's really not enough for a train of that size typically there a couple more B Units at the very least on a train that long.
I have both paint schemes for the f7 in ho scale 1:52
20:52 Bro predicted formation designer for tsw4
13:49
This shot looks so realistic
It is free f7 and the map?
No its not free
Because it cost some points to get it?
try looking up on the ceiling of the cab for the wiper valves
or jim thorpe or conway in boston why not
It's still not on steam. Do you know at what time will it come out? Thanks~
I also wished they added a u.p. skin for the f7
Do we know when this game will be updated again?
Where can I find this livery? I would love to use it.
This is the default livery for the Santa Fe F7.
@@joshualap401 There is no Santa Fe F7 in the game. The only one I’ve ever seen available is the Clinchfield Railroad.
@@PositivelyNegativeOfficial Santa Fe F7 is DLC you can buy it in the store. I don't know what platform you are on but I'm on xbox and you can see it if you go to add ons for Train Sim World 3 in the the microsoft store. It costs 7€ or something like that.
@@joshualap401 I’m on PS5. Do the different platforms have different DLC? I’ve never seen that in all the times I’ve gone through the store. My interest has been piqued.
@@PositivelyNegativeOfficial Well it would be very unussual for different platforms to have different DLC so I would assume Playstation has the same DLC as Xbox. However do note that you have to look for the DLC in the Playstation store itself (where you can also buy the game) and not in the store that is provided in the game itself because that store does indeed not have the DLC.
Is there a passenger train with the f7's in this game? Like the Santa fe super cheif
No sadly
@@BluGames darn. Do they at least let you see the train crashes in this one??
@@myrtistaylor5759 NOPE one of my biggest complaints
@@BluGames 🙄 ugh.... lame 😒 no 1950s passenger train and no crashes. Also I wanna point out that the red and silver warbonnet livery is the passenger color scheme. The freight color scheme for the ATSF would of been the " blue bonnet" scheme navy blue with yellow stripes. Sometimes yellow and silver but I think the yellow bonnet wasn't vary common
Love these videos
Thank you
train sim world 3 should make senic railway route like lake winnepesukee
I agree
Are you from New Hampshire?
no shit i dont even no what i ask you
i think i said train sim world 4 should come out with senic railroad like jim thorpe or somthing
How can I select the B Units in the Service Mode??
that is beautiful, you make me want this game
Is the F-7 a dlc or custom made?
Dlc
Did they remove it?
Those engines need some silver passenger coaches.
How do I do that but I use x square
how did you get this train
I don’t know why, but everybody on Steam hates this DLC.
OH Wait! Now I do. Wouldnt expect anything more from this DLC especially from a Money Hungry Company like Dovetail
🔥🔥🔥🔥 very vintage bro 🤟🏼
AMAZING VIDEO !!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you
Is this a mod?
Yes
@@BluGames ok thanks! I thought it was a costume livery for the clinch field f7
gorgeous pictures
noice
These would look better if they made the Super Chief and El Capitan for it.
