Just did stage 4 btr dual spring kit tbss intake and 92mm throttle body and it did 357 but truck was starving for fuel at 5krpm need bigger pump and cam sensor went bad lol so need to swap and go back. So just a cam? Because mine is similar just a cam no heads, no headers, nothing everything else is stock on mine. The intake and e85 dont make much power gains on NA builds. I wasn’t too worried tho just wanted it to drive well i plan ln boosting it later! Thank you tho!

      Yessir I plan on doing full throttle rolls and digs soon! I just didn’t in this video because i need to roll my fenders first they chew up my rear tires when i push it. The first initial difference I get is mainly the sound other than that im sure performance is similar but i’ll see once i push it. The Vacuum from the regulator I put onto the top left of the manifold, I believe the tbss has two areas to put it but I put it on a plastic covered entry that has to be broken off to use.

    • @ErikRose_
      @ErikRose_  Год назад

      There are products to adapt some the sensors the map sensor was put in the original spot in the tbss manifold just had to use a bigger o ring or some method so it fit in the bigger hole and some things were deleted and tuned out like evap and evap solenoid sensor And capped off. As for the return line with our setup we have an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator and the bottom port of the regulator goes back the the factory return and the feed goes into the regulator and the other outlet goes to the rails feeding both. Hope this helps with anything.

I only bought a FAST LSXRT because I have a 6L swap (got a crackhead deal on it too) and am going with a decent sized cam and a set of ported PRC heads. Even then, below 4000-4500, the FAST makes the same power as a TBSS. Up top, the fast will be worth some power on my combo.

      Yeah it actually had a minor misfire so that gave me another reason to put another manifold, haven’t had that issue with this tbss manifold yet so, pretty sure it was leaking!

    Did your sheet metal intake sound super loud like a lot of air was sucking from the breather?
    I’m thinking about changing intakes

      Oh ok, when you did the switch back to the tbss one did it make it more quiet? I’m not trying to have it over power my mufflers lol I want a nice quiet and enjoyable ride at this point? Thank you for answering back
