Being a woman is chaotic, to say the least. In this video I talk about the various elements that encompass the struggles of the journey of womanhood, especially as a modern woman of today. I talk about beauty standards and aging, going into the trend seen on TikTok, where women were posting their "natural" make-up free faces and asking everyone to guess their age. I then touch upon the ever ongoing debate on whether women should be settling in their relationships or not. Finally, I go into the importance of recognizing one's self worth, because society will make sure we feel less than every step along the way, but while the road to empowerment isn't going to be easy, it's the only one worth traveling.

Settling is also a very misunderstood concept. A loooooooooooot of women have super extreme "standards", waiting for the white knight to arrive, but men are human too and also none of these (or any women) is perfect either. It's not about settling for a situationship or someone who doesn't treat you right. For example my current boyfriend is the least love-doovey touchy person I have ever dated, but he is also the healthiest relationship I've ever had. He is not cold, I just have to initiate intimate moments more - and I can also see him getting better at that. And he is also bald - which counts as "settling" for a lot of women. That's what that guy is talking about.

Small nitpick: Instead of saying "of course, we've all hoped for romantic love", it would be more inclusive to say "of course, many of us have hoped for romantic love". (Not sure how many women who haven't wanted romantic love, e.g. aromantic women, watch your videos, but it's just nice to be inclusive of them just in case. :) )
