      Exactly what I was wondering. I know you can do a lot of movements with these but if you're not into replicating the "machine" experience I think $600 is a bit steep. I bought my PR-4000 to use with barbells and bands so although these will be great for some people, I'm thinking I can do without them in my training. That being said, if they were still $400 I might pick them up just to have them in my back pocket :)

    Wow what a great price however good luck on getting them. Everything is out of stock with rep. I dont even know why they would waist sending out samples when they could have just sold them to customers. Maybe they should raise there prices so they can get more Mfg and once demand falls then they can lower the price. But right now they dont have a back order process and to my experience their email when available process has never worked. So the Rouge are 600 dollars more expensive but i can put in my email and they actually notify me when they come in and i can order the Sornex Jammer Arms right now. Why be so cheap and have customers that can't even order them.

    Bought and they DO Not even come close to fitting on my Rogue 3x3 monster rack. They are made way too tight and would basically need to be installed with a rubber mallet beating them into place. Then of course REP doesn't make a return easy and makes you pay shipping and restock fee. Should have gone with the Rogue 50 cal trolleys first because they are far superior to these cheap Rep lever arms

    First off... to all of you with this confusion of things needing to be in stock.. What planet are you guys living on? We are living through a world wide pandemic where no one wants to go back to gyms. Hence why people are buying this gear up like crazy!!! Secondly why are you bugging out on these small companies that are trying to help us all out? Bizzare!!! The arms, the rack are strong pieces of equipment with incredible versatility. Coop put up a fair assessment of this product. For the price its pretty damn good. Yes you have to get on these sites minute by minute, no matter which company to gobble up what you can.
    There are nuances to these arms, but man I can do belt squats, leg presses, chest exercises, shoulder exercises.. the gamut. Well worth it, and don't care where they were manufactured. If that is an issue start looking at your car parts and where they have been made. Thats just silly arguments to not exercise. I hope you don't buy the stuff because of this... so I can gobble more stuff up while you guys squabble about that lol!! Hey Coop thx for the review... good point with the holes .. i noticed that as well. But overall great product for the coin!!!!

    You can't state they fit all 3 x 3 racks when rep is built overseas and builds in metric... Their 5/8" holes are 18mm ( larger ) and their 3 x 3 rack is 75mm x 75mm ( smaller) which means the pull pins will work but the arms themselves won't fit unless modified...

    • @ChristianStJulian
      @ChristianStJulian 4 года назад +3

      Yea agreed, this was a huge oversight in the review. Sure they fit "all 3x3 racks" when it's clear this was bolted onto a Titan Rack again which is Metric. Put this on a Monster or Monster Lite and post a review update @garagegymreviews

    • @stevenrobare6668
      @stevenrobare6668 4 года назад +1

      @@ChristianStJulian there is another video on here of a guy just pulling the protective plastic and sticking 3M felt tape on to get the clearance... I'm still going to pick up a set and attempt to just sand the plastic inserts down the 1 or 2 mm needed...

    • @ChristianStJulian
      @ChristianStJulian 4 года назад

      Good to know, I just know alot of people aren't prepared for that amount of modification and will buy with expectations set. Personally I like the design but need arms that attach Spotter Arm style because I have a folding rack and don't plan to leave them on all the time.

    • @stevenrobare6668
      @stevenrobare6668 4 года назад

      @@ChristianStJulian same here with the folding rack,I was going to pick up the front mounted feet for the pr4000 rack as well just for added stability.... But with the hole spacing on rep accessories it's the same thing with some slight mods because the holes arnt 2" apart they're like 1.98"

    • @ChristianStJulian
      @ChristianStJulian 4 года назад

      @@stevenrobare6668 Yea thats a good idea. With the feet, I'd just be concerned if they'd sit flush with the ground after mounting. The feet for folding racks are a bit different from that of a standard rack so you might need to wedge something underneath. I bought some RV pullout supports for my spotter arms but hadn't thought about jammer Arms causing stability issues unless you're doing some cleaning movements which I wouldn't be.

    I looooove the Rogue lever arms so I bought them for my RM-6. If I could try the Rep before I bought them, I might consider them because I do think the locking positions are a great idea, but I don’t like all the lateral play, and it’s FAR from a guarantee that Rep will have those back in stock Nov/Dec 2020. I do think their customer service is very good though. I placed a big pre-order with them at the thick of the pandemic and canceled it to go with Rogue because their ETAs kept moving.
    Once they’re back in stock, I’ll be curious to see if Rogue modifies their design at all, might even pick up a pair of these on the other side of my rack...? Thanks for the review, Coop!

      @FinalWarsGodjira 4 года назад +1

      I don't think any of the companies have created/came out with an attachment so it can be used as a leg press. I'm sure one could come up with something, a bar/platform to press, and safety arms so set the jammer arms at the needed height depending on the style of leg press you wanted to do. The angle Could be kinda weird for a leg press, and the weight limited, so I would say lacking for people that rep 800 to 1000lbs on leg press... but maybe usable for people that are working at the up to 500lbs for reps.

(i dont want to buy one that nothing will fit on and i cant afford a "good" power rack, so it's difficult to find out which one i need to buy) with only 1400$ i can buy a good power rack, but have nothing else, not even weights probably, unless i find a c-list or facebook used set real cheap

    What's your opinion about the Sorinex J-Squat? Is it worth the money and space to upgrade to the Rogue Rhino dedicated belt system or does it make sense to save space and money with the J-Squat jammer arm belt squat attachment?

    • @tonyallen3138
      @tonyallen3138 4 года назад +1

      I would say go for the Rhino if you have the money due to the versatility if you have the space and money. But J-Squat is you need to save on space.

      @@tonyallen3138 Thanks for the reply. When you say versatility, what are you referring to? I have the money and space to get the Rogue rhino, but I'm not sure whether it would be smarter to spend the space and money elsewhere, or if the rhino is that much better than the J-squat that it would just make sense to get the rhino. Basically, I could get either, but I could get more stuff if I got the J-Squat. In your opinion should I just go with the rhino or get the J-Squat?

    • @tonyallen3138
      @tonyallen3138 4 года назад

      Xavier Stephens what I mean is that the Rhino will provide more variations to different workouts you can perform depending if you perform the drop-in configuration vs stand-a-lone. You can use it as a pulley system to perform more than just the belt squat variant workouts.

    Coop I have yet to make a comment on a single video but I feel inclined to at this point. I will tell you that you are misleading customers by saying that rack accessories are cross compatible with various companies. You have done this in a few of your videos and I am here to say that is not true. The REP and Titan series racks are 75MM X 75MM not 3" X 3" like Sorinex and Rogue and as you slightly said here in this video the hole spacing is off between those companies as well. So just for everyone's knowledge I have a REP PR-5000 rack and tried the Rogue Monster spotter arms they do not completely fit as the safety pin will not go in due to spacing. Additionally the Rogue Trolley arms will not fit as well due to the same problem. For Sorinex gear you are better off I have the full safety bars on my rack and they work fine. Now with that being said if you think your J-Cups or other REP attachments will fit a Sorinex or Rogue rack they will "slightly" if you do not mind it being so tight that it scrapes off the powder coating. Long story short buyer beware all things are not created equal and I would expect someone in this position that has exposure to all of these racks to be more clear and concise so consumers do not lose money.

    @garage gym reviews really enjoy your videos, thanks for the great content. I have a question, can the Titan lever arms compatible with the Rep Fitness Omni Rack?
    I ordered the Omni Rack but they are out of stock for there iso arms. So I found Titan had a set that's cheaper. But are they functional on an Omni Rack and of good quality? Thank you again.

    So can you really mix and match, or is only accessories?

    $399, I'm a fan of rogue equipment, but $399, as a broke college student, I care about the functionality, and again, $399. Compare between around 1k for rogue and sorinex, easy to move the arms up and down, butttt, you can't do pull-ups or dips. $399, mind blowing

  • @timt7657
    @timt7657 4 года назад

    Do these arms vs rogue need to have the rack bolted down? That’s a very important consideration because who wants to bolt down a cage to your garage floor if you can just buy stabilizers. The rogue sells mini feet but they don’t recommend using those and not bolt cage down to the floor with the LT-1. Rep sells feet stabilizers and they recommend you can use the ISO arms without bolting the cage to ground. So question is with rogue are they just being conservative and can you demo the rogue cage with mini feet and without bolting the cage? It’s a big point when committing to a cage. I just don’t seeing bolting a cage as option but wondering why both companies have vastly different recommendations on these arms given similar dimensions on pr5000 v2 and rogue monster series.

      That's what I want to know. Everyone keeps saying "they should," but I haven't seen anyone say they actually tried it. Titan and REP racks are actually 75mm x 75mm (2.95"x2.95"), not 3"x3" and I have made the mistake before of thinking their attachments would fit my RML (they often do NOT).

    I think belt squat was trash. Wouldn’t fit in the rack well and broke on me first use and just didn’t like.
    Made me hesitate on these arms, but may look to get these later on. I am very pleased with their rack and lat pull down accessory.
    I just wish they would drop the monolift. I seen the Rogue was finally in stock but the bottom pins won’t fit correctly so I’m hesitant on that. I personally want the monolift before these. I also feel I can do most of these movements with a landmine. I rest the bar on safety arms to have a stand.

    I own these they are really good BUT I do have one arm that, from time to time, the holes become misaligned and I have to take the arm apart and put them back together to get the pins to go in smoothly. Not sure why that happens, wonder if it happens to anyone else. Have seen people in the FB group that can't get the pins to go in smoothly at all as well.

      One other note, one arm sticks to the upright without pins for precise adjusting while the other arm slides straight to bottom unless you put upward pressure on the arm. REP definitely has some refining to do but I'm happy for $400
