      Felix, messages like yours make all my efforts feel so so worth it; I live for helping people enjoy their leisure time to the max and I hope your best score made you love the game that little bit more. Well done Sir and honestly, thank you for sharing your experiences and if you ever want me to do a video on something specific you only have to ask! Best wishes Stu 😊

    Hi there how's you I have just seen your channel and now following you. I have been a golfer for years. Last March I had a major spinal cord operation that left me paralyzed from the waist down and a incomplete t6 spinal cord injury. In April they told me that I would probably never Walk again but walking again and playing golf. I have had to start again as a beginner and your videos are good for me as you don't teach static positions and the drills are dynamic. I will never have a pretty swing again but I can build a functional swing and play good golf. Thank you for the drills

      The game is super simply Jimmy - sadly, coaching has got carried away with itself. Glad you’re here 😊

    I have a GRF balance board from some previous coaching. I assume if I did this drill on the balance board weight would initially be on the left foot, pushing off right foot would cause board to briefly tip right before it quickly goes back left? Is that something you could do in a future video?

    The largely ignored/misunderstood component in a golf swing. Someone told me when I was a kid, "Use your legs when you swing." I had no idea what that meant, and it seemed counterintuitive anyway, since the "big" actions were not taking place in the legs. Ah, youth is wasted on the young, as they say. Keep doing what you are doing, Stuart.

      Thanks Lance; I hear it so often, people being asked to “use your legs more” yet with no real guidance in what that means. Happy this video gave you some clarity Sir. Best wishes Stu 😊

    Hi Stuart, many years ago I read "Gravity Golf" by David Lee who seemed to have worked all this pressure stuff out years ago without the aid of today's technology! Remenber him? Best Nick

    WARNING: I almost sprained my groin after discovering how to unlock insane ground pressure with this drill.
    How you ask?
    I used the taping-books-together method...
    And the tape sheared right off from all the ground energy I was generating!
    I haven't done the splits in a while so I needed an ice pack.
    But now my driver went from 240 to 300+.
    Was it worth it?
    Heck yeah!
    But use with caution.

      OOOPS!! Go steady my friend, glad youre ok; and amen, 300+ yards is worth every bit of discomfort! Best wishes Stu 😊

    Hi Stu, thanks for all your instruction. At the 7:30 mark you state to push away from the target with the left foot which I understand. Should there also be a sensation of pushing away and back from the target line or should I just concentrate on away from the target?

    • @GoodGolfCoaching
      @GoodGolfCoaching  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Robert, great questions Sir. You’re absolutely on point with the push back and away from the target and the target line. This counters the energy of the club handle and head. Let me know how you get on! Best wishes Stu

    Haha, use the ground. Yeah everyone says it and never explains it. I just feel my feet almost twisting heels towards the target on the backswing. That is what I came up with as no one would explain it.

    I'm definitely trying this! Would the foot pressure be more in the heel when the front leg straightens?

    • @GoodGolfCoaching
      @GoodGolfCoaching  Год назад +1

      Absolutely and twice on Sundays! 😂😂 In the heel is essential or else you might fall over 🫣
