The woodland walk looked amazing with the many waterfalls, and then out in the hills with the magnificent views, wonderful place 💞

I dont comment very often, but I must say that this channel is fast becoming one of my Sunday favourites!
I love the locations that are shown, and the ladies' enthusiasm for the outdoors is a joy to watch. Thank you for the videos.

The Rydal area is definately underrated compared to many other popular hot spots in the Lakes. So many nice places to walk and visit as you have just shown us. Lovely video showing it off. Thankyou

Thanks for the walk around Rydal. I think I've read something about a garden there before, or I'm confusing something. The tip with the gingerbread is very good 👍🏻 I love gingerbread 😋There are also various traditional gingerbread here in the Black Forest. They used to be used here as travel provisions for pilgrims. So snacks and hiking have a long tradition 😄

A very important tradition for us to keep too 😍 maybe you can try the gingerbread on your visit next year .. I think you’ll like it 🤤

The scenery in this video was quite beautiful but the woodland around the stream and waterfall was absolutely stunning. Don't know how you passed up the swim on that one. Take care and stay safe.

It was tough but I wanted to get all the locations in for the video.. it’s sometimes tough to fit everything in that I want to do, but I will be back soon and that waterfall pool will be waiting 🧜🏼‍♀️

A nice video, thanks Charlotte, but you don't make clear the distinction between Rydal Hall, whose gardens you walked through at the end, which is a place where anyone can stay (owned by the diocese of Carlisle and used as a Christian retreat centre when I stayed there in the 1980s) and Rydal Mount, the home of William Wordsworth, which is directly across the road. Rydal Mount is owned by descendants of the poet and the house and garden are also worth visiting.

I didn’t make it clear because I didn’t know. I only know what I need to know for what I do in the day. Lots more information on the internet if anyone’s interested in knowing more though 😁

The lake in the background is NOT Rydal , it's Windermere !
