With respect to essential oils, "essential" does not mean "critically important", it means "aromatic" (as in, essence).

  • @pav431
    @pav431 3 года назад +126

Back in the last year of high school, we were taken to a presentation from some sort of scientific company that was developing and testing new ways to fight cancer, and I can distinctly remember them telling us that - Actually, coming up with a compound that can kill a cell is the easy part. The hard part is to find a compound that, when ingested, can selectively target just the cancer cells (Or at least as few of the normal cells as possible), deliver its payload (The actual kill agent), and then harmlessly be processed by the body's enzymes, then excreted without complications.
What these studies do is they find great "payloads" - things that can kill a cell, but the harder part of actually getting delivered to just the cancer cells and thus doing as little damage to the rest of the body? They don't care apparently... But hey, it "cures" cancer (when outside the body, otherwise it would "cure" people of their "lives" as well)

There is a thingy that they inyect to the patients and it only releases the chemical that expands when in contact with a lot of cancer cells so it quite literally blocks the blood to the cancer, it was in human testing already back in 2019 I don't know if it is already on use or they found some harmfull secondary effect

I do massage therapy and the only three things oils are good for are, a) setting the mood by inhalation (diffusers), b) it can cause warming or cooling sensations on the skin - causing your muscles to relax or spasm, and c) hydration of the skin- essential oils are most effective when using it on the skin as hydrating agent (that means its useful in skin regeneration, but that doesn't mean its causing the regeneration, it just helps the process by keeping the skin hydrated). Some do use the oils through ingestion, id say it helps occasionally for stomach issues, but then again, It's mostly about calming or exciting the body/organs. I love inhaling peppermint or eucalyptus oil, it really gives me a positive cooling push, or lavender or orange oil for a more calming scent.

    • @cajampa
      @cajampa Год назад +5

You should not use peppermint oil or lavender oil as a man if you don't want to mess with your testosterone production.
I like to workout a lot and i have tried peppermint and i noticed a massive impairment to my recovery, strength and intensity loss when i used peppermint regularly.
I got suspicious and checked out the science and confirmed my suspicion.
Also rosemary, tea-tree is bad for testosterone metabolism, bad as in it lowers it.
I also like to do massage therapy and i like even more to give sensual massages to my partner.
And if you think essential oils are only good for what you mentioned you are missing out.
Because there is a bunch of oils that will supercharge that sensual massage session to new heights.
A lot of essential oils have aphrodisiac effects and if you find the right mix added to an sensual oil massage the sparks really start flying.
Some of the best i found for this application is, ylang-ylang, sandalwood, patchouli, rose and jasmine, black pepper and ginger.
Another BIG use for essential oils is as an expectorant for getting the airways clear.
i am sure you already know eucalyptus, lavendel, peppermint, ginger and such are great for this.
One more big use for oils is to boost hair growth when added to shampoos and hair treatments, rosemary, ginger and peppermint is the classic ones for this.
Rosemary and peppermint because they impair the testosterone metabolism and improves circulation.
Most androgenic hair loss are caused by DHT, a metabolite of testosterone.
You mention oils for stomach issues, but do you know why some oils are such good antiemetics? That is anti vomiting agents.
Ginger, lemon and peppermint oils are the classics for this, they work mostly because they have a component in them that is an 5HT3 antagonist.
5HT3 is the serotonin receptor that is responsible for feeling sick in the gut.
So besides using them just as something if you ate something that did not agree with you.
One can use them before you do something that would otherwise make you feels sick,
like for example before and during going out in high seas fishing or going on an intense day of amusement park rides.
Of course some people have an iron gut who never have any issues with things like that, but for those that do,
using oils like that before hand is absolutely priceless.

    • @JEMA333
      @JEMA333 Год назад +1

@@cajampayo thank you for the insight. it helped me discover new avenues to deal with my anxiety nausea. i tend to vomit alot & what you say about the recovery being hindered makes a lot of sense. thinking on it alot adds up when taking into consideration your comment. i appreciate that. i also noticed as good as those sensations feel from mint and eucalyptus, they do seem to slow me down in a way & often make me feel worse or more sick

    • @cajampa
      @cajampa Год назад

@@JEMA333 Yeah, I consider essential oils as drugs and use them very sparingly and only when really needed.
Because as with any drug when you force your body to feel a certain way you often can get an opposite reaction to your homeostasis when the effect wears off.
For your anxiety nausea, try out and research some of these things that has worked great for me.
For the anxiety part, things like working out everyday, get as fit as you can and optimizing your health really helps.
And I also run a couple of times a week, one longer for 10k, I find it really meditative to run in beautiful nature with all the sensations and I find it to be very calming and then after when I shower at the end, I finish the shower with really ice cool water for as long as I can stand it.
And I run a shorter maxed out interval pass for 15-20 min in a steep hill another day in the week.
I find that when you really push your body like that regularly it makes everyday stressful situation seem less so. Because compared to how hard my heart pumps when I run as fast as I can go until I can not anymore, makes everyday anxiety heart pumping stressful feelings less stressful because those can never get even close to how hard the body is strained when I run at the max of my ability.
So that makes the compared states make me feel like no anxious state can tax my body that hard and then that makes it feel way less in comparison and less stressful.
I also think just the way higher physical ability make everyday stressful states take less out of you because you are way healthier.
Another things I use for anxiety is balance training, I use it as a part of my stretching routine.
Because when you workout a lot, you need to stretch to not injure yourself by building up to much tension, the stretching also helps with lowering anxiety because when you are tense it is easy to mistake body tension with mental tension, of course they are the same body and mind are one, but the solution to the various tense states we can experience is different but they influence each other.
Meaning if your are tense in the body it is hard to not get tense in your mind and the reverse.
This means that the more relaxed you can make your body directly influences how tense or anxious you feel in your mind.
And I find doing really hard balance training is really special for pretty much eliminate my panic anxiety I sometime get in the middle of sleep. I also use weighted blankets, two of the heaviest I can find.
It works great, I sleep better now than I ever thought possible.
Also breathing training and control is essential to taking control of anxiety issues.
I practise deep breathing as often as I can remember to do it.
Now when I get stressed out about having to do a lot of things quickly for example, I find I start deep breathing automatically instead of breathing faster and less efficient.
It feels great and is so calming and gives great focus when I need it the most.
Regular meditation also helps a great deal with anxiety.
And I mean just simple relaxing closing your eyes, clearing your mind of everything and just get comfortable thinking of nothing and breathing deep and slow and controlled for up to 30 min.
It seems to reset everyday stress and makes me more able to make really great decisions. It seems to super charge my intuition and give me a more calm sense of self.
I am not into all those religious aspect of meditation though and I find many who are very in to meditation get a bit delusional.
And can not see the difference with there own imagination running away with them and actual real world experiences.
I have never seen anyone get anything good out of using magical thinking like that, they seem to get more incapable and get more problems instead.
Although some "mystical aspects" of meditation are real though like moving energy focus around the body is very useful and fun to use in sex for example and can really take those session to the next levels, levels most can not imagine is possible, but in the end it is all about body and nervous system control and different ways to get more proficient at that.
I also had some really bad issues with my digestion leading to intense nausea, that is why I know all about those essential oils for that.
I was really sick from it wasting away.
But I have it fully sorted out know.
Try and research these out for your gut health and nausea problems.
Bacillus coagulate probiotics for example lactospore and I find it far superior to all those multistrain type products on the market.
Also I use the probiotic Saccharmomyces boulardii.
I also use l-glutamine and gelatine before I eat a meal.
And then digezyme digestive enzymes to the meal.
Another thing that works great is bone broth for gut and general health, it really saved me when I was sick and suffering, but it is a real hassle to make.
And I have never found a bone broth product on the market that claim to be bone broth, to function anyway like the one you make yourself from great quality organic bones and pure water boiling away gently for a couple of days.
I used to do a massive batch and then freeze it in large silicon ice cubes.
Anyway, I don't need it anymore but bone broth is epic for gut health.
Another thing you might need to do is an elimination diet to find out if there is something you eat that is messing you up.
I found I need to stay away from certain foods by doing a fodmap diet.
Like for example certain nuts and beans really mess up my digestion.
I also don't eat gluten anymore that also really improved my digestion and health.
Staying away from sugary things is also a really good idea.
I haven't eaten sugary sweet foods for many years.
And for me that faked forced pleasure of sweet things gives me more anxiety when the sugar rush wears off.
Try it, stop eating sweet things, it really helps and I find I get way better discipline and more pleasure from everything else by not drugging myself with sweet things.
Also not using stimulants like coffee and harder stimulants is essential to not be anxious.
I am extremely sensitive to stimulants and even the tiniest bit gets me anxious for a long time after. It especially mess up my sleep.
Good luck, I am sure that you can sort out your anxiety and nausea.
What I wrote here should take you well on your way there.

11:23 Applying some essential oils to the skin can act almost like a lighter form of hand sanitizer. Some essential oil products do use alcohol in their making. So it could be a preventative. But by no means should it be used for any kind of pre existing bacterial infection, always get those checked out by a dr to make sure they are not deep or serious. For localized fungal infections that are no bigger than a quarter, I have found tea tree oil useful though. The industry really should study that more, but be sure if they do, and it succeeds, they will find a way to refine and concentrate it, then recoup the costs of those studies by making the medicine expensive. The more benefit to the patient, the more expensive they will make it. Like EpiPens, heart medicine, and insulin. Just because they can, and they have a captive audience with no other good choices.

A lot of things kill disease in-vitro because they just more or less suffocate them and aren't things that cells need in order to survive. The problem just is if you apply the same method to a human patient you will kill the cancer cell but you'll also kill all the other cells and usually for a treatment to be successful the patient needs to survive. The difficulty of designing medicine is not finding a substance that'll kill the thing that causes the disease, it's finding a substance that will do that while also doing minimal harm to the surrounding human.

The essential oil is not able to treat full depression, could possibly work for minor depressive episodes. But that would probably not be the cause rather an effect of mindful behavior, taking time for yourself and relax. Which you can do without essential oils. MEDUHSIN.

Also I'm not so sure about giving a blanket statement "essential oils in food, that's okay," again like you say the vast majority of the time it *is* totally fine and when done smart can be a good thing. But there's also a movement of raw-dogging the stuff right down your throat, I looked it up after witnessing a mom in public swallow drops from a bottle then instruct her kids to do the same, search said consuming the wrong product frequently or in large amount can cause internal chemical burns. Not fun or cool for kids

In vitro tests are super different than human tests because those cells are more vulnerable when not in the ideal environment which is in the human body. A lot of viruses die in a few hours just by existing outside of the body. Simple little things can cause cells to die when not in the human body.

Fungal skin infections sometimes need air, so any oil that coats the skin will treat the infection. Essential oils coat the skin, so they're no worse than vegetable oil for keeping air off of a patch of skin. Of course some skin infections don't need air, so you need real antimicrobials instead of just any old liquid that'll coat the skin.

On a different tact....i collect data of alternative treatments gor various ailments and conditions and can confirm that a mrsa skin infection can be treated with essential oil with some positive effects but you would be well ahead to treat with a honey plaster of natural antibiotics like an old mans beard poultice.

If an EO company claims their products Cure a major disease that just makes them look sketchy. IMO the psychological part of self-care when you're sick is very important.
