Mine arrived today. Must say I was was very impressed with the strong shipping box that was undamaged, internal packing and quality of components. Very high quality. Looking forward to building it, eventually.
Yes, wish they were all that well protected
Interested to see how slow your u can fly
Awesome!
Hope it flys as well as it looks. Great vids
Great video! Excited for the maiden. :)
Great build video. When you maiden could you do a vertical climb so we can see how the twin motors perform. Thanks
Will do, plenty of grunt I suspect
Nice, interesting, I go directional thrust myself, one less servo and wiring
It seems to be a serious construction and a beautiful model.
Really impressed that you can produce so many great videos almost daily. Loving the channel mate!. Look forward to the maiden for this one too
I have the time and enthusiasm at the moment. Thanks
looks like a great fpv platform. thank you Andrew. cant wait for the maiden.
The quality looks really good. Looking forward to the maiden, and any mods, of course. Thank you, Sir!
Looks a possible great plane, nice quality, might be a good replacement for my mini skyhunter when i maiden and crash it
A nice solid looking aircraft. Looking forward to your next video. Might be fun to slope fly it with a strong breeze coming off the water. Happy Flying
That's what I'm thinking too.
Cant wait to see this thing fly.
Can't wait to see this one fly!!!
Looking forward to seeing this fly. Very interesting looking plane.
Excited to see this one fly! I've got the RMRC plank and it has a super thin/fast profile. As a pusher, it can be a handful. It'll be interesting to see how an FPV plank flies with a tractor config. Can't wait!
Nice build, the quality seems to be getting better & better. Looking forward to the maiden. 👌
This'll be good to see in the air!!
At least the model looks as though it was "designed" rather than thrown together.
Awesome! Looks like a neat design! Glad to see that they are trying new stuff.
Yes it is a unique model.
This is interesting... Can't wait to see what that airfoil does.
Haven't seen an airfoil that thick before!
Great video, good luck on the maiden!
Had no idea this model was even out there until happening upon it here. Currently designing a 1600mm twin plank out of some Origin Funter wings but couldn't pass up this kit for about $84 with the code shipped to the U.S. I always use my own components to make sure they're the best quality and reliable. Should be good sized to transport. Looks to be of good quality. Huge fan of twins. Good find, Andrew. Xion.
Kit on sale for $66 right now
Ooh that is a good price. Certainly a solid model if you like planks.
JX servos are great!! About 100000x better than the crap Zohd, or anybody else puts in their kits, or that most are using period. Are they PD1109MG? What specific model are they?
EDIT: I see the ones they provide are not the MG version now.... Still fine.
interested to see what the stall speed/ characteristics will be with the thick wing. It looks pretty nice and well thought of to pull apart again for storage/transport.
I can see a Tee Tail and Rudder coming down the Andrew Airlines track myself...lol. It's going to turn so much better with a bit of Rudder mixed in.
i dont mean to be off topic but does anybody know a tool to log back into an instagram account..?
I stupidly forgot the password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Jaxtyn Uriel instablaster =)
@Chance Kellen I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and Im in the hacking process now.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Nicely thought out construction and nice looking finish for an eps plane. If it flies well it's a bargain.
I think this one will be pretty good as a kit version. I can see some good long range potential in this frame.
Motors and props are OK but not sure about the servos.
Nice assembly video Andrew. Most of these Planks I've seen are pretty fast ;-) Looking forward to the Maiden Flight. See you in the Air!
Having a hard time getting the CG far enough forward, would you recommend using stand-offs to move the engines further forward or possibly removing the tail and adding vertical stabilizers somewhere along the wings between the joins?
I wouldn't mess with the tail too much. Moving the motors forward would work, but I would just add lead to the nose first
Thank you!
Looks great! I love the shape, as Mr Buffalo says perfect "T" tail :-) I looked at the site, never bought through them before, great vid 👍
I would like to copy that last section, shall I?
The wiggly tools? Go right ahead.
Been waiting for your thoughts on this frame. Wonder ifits as efficient as the Sonic Binary
I see a lot of screws going into plastic i see a lot of potential threaded screw holes. how is this holding up?
No problems so far
@@AndrewNewton Which do you prefer out of this and Finwing Allabird?
I ordered the kit on pre-order, shipped yesterday. Does it fit 7" props? Trying to decide what motors I should use. 7" might be good on a slower flyer
9" prop will just fit, but 8" and a 1400kv would be best
@@AndrewNewton interesting, thanks! I've got some 50g 2508-1500kv quad motors that should be about right.
Hi what's the wing cord on this plane
Review of the V2 soon, I'll measure it for you then
@@AndrewNewton thank you
That thing looks a little bit ugly but also interesting. Looking forward for the maiden!
Also try find a review of this flying apart from the company. I cant so seems your the first after its been around so long!
O well it's always the best who conquers the mountain.😁
I'm a bit nervous being first with a unique model. Cant predict how it will perform
@@AndrewNewton I can imagine. Just have fun is all the advice a armchair pilot can give. Break a Arrrrr.......... nothing!😉
Very Nice L@@Kin & Sturdy Plane + Good Prices!? I'd Put On A Rudder, Differential Thrust & Lights... LOL Thanks Mate
Might open the wallet on this one, will wait for flight vid first,
Well that's dissapointing >> "Cannot ship to United Kingdom"
Bummer, that's crazy
