I love it that you actually show us places and take us along instead of just talking all the time.
I love when you and/or Nikki go to my home stomping grounds, places I grew up in, lived in and worked in. It's so special now that I live on the east coast for medical reasons. Being "home" in your videos helps my heart. I appreciate those videos the most, though I love traveling vicariously with you ❤️

Every time I think of Missoula, I think of the movie A River Runs Through It. I've always wanted to visit there. This helps a little. Thank you!!
I learned a pro laundromat hack the other day, go early when lots of machines are free. Full loads for washing, then only put about 1/3 of a dryer load maybe a bit more and turn on all dryers for about 20 to 25 minutes, laundry will dry much quicker and apparently you'll save time and money. Cheers!

Neat real-life on the road content. Good story line, well edited, solid narration, and proper length. 15 minutes or less is an excellent choice. Beautiful settings, and like the remote then urban situations. Look forward to the next chapter with you and your sister. Thanks for sharing.

Nope longer is better
Fort Missoula Alien Detention Camp in Missoula, Montana was an internment camp for Japanese men during World War II. The camp was operated by the United States Department of Justice and held over 1,000 Japanese resident aliens who were barred from American citizenship. The men were arrested by the FBI after the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and held for loyalty hearings. None were charged with disloyalty, but they were held at the camp or other camps for the duration of the war. My father a natural born citizen of the United States was sent there for the duration of World War II.
Thank you for this added dark history just one of the U.S. My best friend and my son's godparent his mother and father met their and his oldest brother was born in the internment camp their families lost their homes & business when they were imprisoned.

I stayed at the Holiday in in Bozeman. The mountains were right across from me beautiful sunset and sunrise views.
One of my favorite authors was a professor at MSU in Bozeman. Robert Pirsig, he wrote, "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance." I highly highly recommend it. Everyone should read that book at least once.

Hi Sarah! Those fireworks are from the paddle head baseball stadium. They do fireworks at some of the games they put on a spectacular show. Glad that you caught it! 🎆

You can get a spork. That is a spoon with teeth like a fork. You can find them in a outdoor/hiking section at Walmart or an outdoor store like REI.
Missoula is such a pretty..clean town.. I could live there in summer..

Awesome...My husband lived in Missoula Montana as a little boy and my son went to the university there. That town has grown a lot since then. Always loved going there.

Great as always! I’ve had the opportunity to do several roadtrips through MT, but only in the Autumn, so especially fun to see it in the Summer! And the sound of the train as you were opening the laptop to watch the movie… so atmospheric.

It's neat seeing my town through someone else's eyes.
Just a heads up, but Palak Paneer is not tofu. I suppose they could have substituted tofu for the paneer, but paneer is Indian cheese, it has a low moisture content so it doesn't melt; you can even cut it into cubes and brown it, which adds to it's mild flavor. It's easy to follow a vegetarian diet with Indian food, but if you're a strict vegan you should know that they use a lot of butter (ghee), yogurt and cheese (paneer) in their dishes.
It was labeled as tofu so I think they may have substituted it but not 100% sure

I just camped at the Bozeman Hot Springs and used the pools on 7/14. First time ever for me doing hot springs and their cold pool. It was alot of fun!
I like that you get car wash’s quite a lot. I can relate to wanting to have a clean vehicle. Things just aren’t the same when it’s not clean
I drive so much that I need a car wash at least once a week!

Awesome video Sarah. I went through Bozeman and Billings MT on my way back from my Route 66 road trip. If you make it to Missouri theres also a sculptor park there and don't forget to see the Gateway Arch. Just did a mini road trip to Monument Valley and Horshebend on the 4th of July long weekend. Definitely recommend it when you get to that area.
Its great you seek out cool little local historical museums.
I do that too. You can learn a lot!

Hey that laundromat is like a block from my house, awesome seeing you check out my hometown. And unfortunately we don't have fireworks every night you just happened to get the two nights the baseball stadium did them for the 4th.
I was wondering who was setting them off. I was so surprised there were no fireworks on the actual 4th

stayed in Missoula a few years ago explored downtown bought a bunch of t-shirts ate a place down by the river and the city buses are free it was a beautiful town

Montana is beautiful
I like your relaxed smile.
I lived in Bozeman for 13 years and left in late 2019 before the housing market blew sky high. It’s a great town, but has expanded too rapidly and is no longer affordable for the average person/young family. I lived in Missoula for 4 years before going to Bozeman. It was a great place to live!
My sister and I drove through Missoula on the way to Washington state from Washington DC and it was very fun on the way we stopped at Jackson hole and Yellowstone where I saw bison 🦬 for the first time.

Next time your in the Bozeman area, there a few hikes that you would like. The M trailhead is pretty cool and so are the hikes you can do in Hyalite Canyon, where you can go hike to see a palisade falls.

A roof rack storage box would help free up space
I was just in Missoula end of June.
The dinner looked like Palak Paneer, like spinach and Indian Cheese dish with rice and naan. Paneer kinda looks like Tofu.

I've been doing a lot of this too -- visiting sister. It's totally worth it, such a love bug. She's turning me into one too.

My suggestion is to head on over to REI and get a cartop box. It does cut down on milage, but would give you a lot more storage.

When I park my car with valuables inside I always be sure to cover stuff with a coat or dark sheets. I've had my car busted into once because of visible stuff worth stealing, so I learned the hard way to always cover things.

I think you should be able to find a roof rack that you could store stuff at when you need more room in the car. Or something you can attach to the back.

Did you ever get a small power unit... to charge all your stuff. Nice Go-pro outfit, too... my Wimius is good, I'm told, but nothing beats the Go-pro!

Hi! I live in Missoula! The fireworks are from our semi-pro baseball fields! Every night they play, they light off fireworks! I hope you enjoyed our little town, its fun watching videos of where you live and wonder if tourists find gems I need to go see lol.
My son works at Best Buy, I wonder if he saw you 😂😂😂.
I was confused because there were fireworks 2 nights in a row, but none on the 4th! That makes sense now. I really enjoyed Missoula. I show a bit more of it next week :) and no way! I wonder if we were there at the same time
@sarahhberkowitz Glad you liked it! Brennan's wave is always somewhere I recommend because people dont typically see surfers on a river lol. (Or maybe they do and Im just not getting out enough lol) and I think you saw that! You camped right down there. Anyway, yes, other than baseball games no fireworks in city limits anymore.
