@Kashton Cole Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Kashton Cole DAMN IT REALLY WORKED! I literally got access to my ig password after ~ 30 minutes of using the site. Had to pay 15 $ but for sure worth the price :) Thank you so much, you saved my account !
Everyone is poking fun at him for making this video but some, no I mean a lot of our young people and some older don't know how to do anything these days. They need videos like this.
@@swecreations you're absolutely right. I'm glad I had hands on parents. My dad was an electrician, mechanic, paratrooper, navy diver and EOD. Explosive ordinance disposal in the navy.
We didn't have a hose growing up, so I'm learning these things as I go. I also thought I could use tape, but then i thought "it can't be that easy right?" So it's nice to get confirmation.
You just saved me! It's almost midnight here and I discovered a puddle on the floor by our refrigerator. I looked up and saw the ceiling had a medium-paced leak and the paint was bubbled. I immediately went into the attic and found the water tubing going to the fridge had sprung a couple pin-hole leaks. I tried some of that special Leak Seal tape that did NOT work. I also tried 'Alien Tape' which also didn't work. I then found your video about using electrical tape and I taped that thing up good! I'm happy to say, there are no leaks coming out from any of the seams. So I have time to get a replacement tube without worrying the ceiling will drop. Thanks man!
Brilliant! JUST WHAT I NEEDED TO KNOW. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You've saved me not only a trip to the store but saved me twenty dollars+ for a new garden hose!
One big tip not mentioned in the video: Instead of just drying your hose, wipe it down really good with something like isopropyl AKA rubbing alcohol. This will clean it very well to ensure your tape gets the best seal possible. If there's dirt or any kind of grease residues, the tape's seal won't last very long.
Try adding superglue cyanoprecipitate compound on the pinhole then adding the tape on top of it....let it cure for a few hours before turning on water...should reinforce as many holes as that hose will ever be punctured with for the life duration of the hose
Yay! I just nicked my hose with the mower. I remember my late husband doing this until he could fix with a hose connecter and hose clamp. I just needed a quick fix and hope this works for next 2 days..... Thanks

But that is not all!! Once this step is completed, then via a grand Prix tournament where only one survives to obtain such great power. Such power is desired by man and women alike ( Or None or Both). For centuries beings out of this galaxy have seek such great secret. But today grasshopper we have divulged the secrecy of how is obtained ( we will pay great price for this, we may never see light again, because punishment is removal of the light switch remote, and that is a whole other tournament ). Good luck my friend, if you choose to enter. 🤣😂🤣😂
Man... I used every type of tape except Electrical Tape. Honestly I was just going to buy a new hose, but I will see if this works for the summer. Appreciate your help, thanks 🤟🇨🇦
Great video this is so helpful. My kids have a toy water helicopter that attaches to the hose and the hose was broken and they were so sad but thanks for this video. The helicopter is now back in action.
I tried fixing my garden hose leak with a bicycle patch repair kit, and it worked only for about 9 seconds before it started leaking again, lol. I'll try electrical tape now.
My friend told me i had to cut the hose off at the hole and, i tbink, he said, "rethread it" --or something to that effect, basically reattach the metal thing somehow. Thank you for this.
Tank u. And if it doesn’t hold for long,at least is an emergency quick fix with something u might have at home when u really need to use ur water hose & can’t go to the store or ur broke at the moment to go get a new one👍🏼
Thx! Exactly what i needed!. I almost had it. Silly me, i was using masking tape. All along i thought it was my wrapping technique, somehow i had a feeling my wraps werent equally spaced. I was about to give up and just buy a new one. Thank goodness i ran into this video!
Water is still dripping from where the tape was applied. This fix is only good if the cut is super small and the water pressure is on low. Also the tape can come loose later on. I’ve tried this method before
Ed R - Hook up the hose to a water source plug the other end of the hose with your thumb and with your other hand turn in the water if you do all that I’m sure you’ll find it... Caution ⚠️ attempt to try this at home may lead to you getting soaking wet and it can pose a possible slip and fall hazard try at your own risk.
This electrical tape method will not work with a line under pressure. If you're like me and like to keep your hose open with a spray stop end to grab and water, then with your hose pressurized, the pinhole leak that I tapped up exactly like in this video easily pushed the water out. It might work when the water is running, but then again I don't think it was a lot of water loss anyways when the water was open. Use the cut and clamp method for best results. Save your tape :)
IMO. This is a little misleading because what's not being shown here is the "Nozzle". Most people have a nozzles on their garden hose. Having a nozzle causes a great deal of water pressure on the repaired area resulting in the water bursting through the tape and causing a new hole. I've tried a few different types of tapes with strong plastics and received the same results, which is a new hole. The jury is still out on this type of fix IMO.
yes, this is a quick easy fix, that can hold for months or years depending on the water pressure being used, using a stronger tape like gorilla tape can hold for longer (thanks to user comments💪👍😊)but if you are looking for a permanent fix you can check out our hose repair adapter video ruclips.net/video/Md1mbTZQwDw/видео.html
Glad you didn't reach for the flex seal. We all know this is the only thing electric tape us good for, we'll this and leaving a sticky residue behind. Hahaha
Wow! Another misleading video! The only truth about this vid is the line..."now that you wasted all this electrical tape" First, the leak would not even be noticed if it was not pressurized. If no nozzle attached, then no pressure in hose and the water wouldn't be squirting out from the hole. Second, when testing a repair, the same conditions that produced the issue should be used when testing the repair. The nozzle attached to the hose produces the leak, the nozzle should be attached again to test the repair. Even for TEMPORARY repairs!
That's a bandaid fix, better to do it right, rubber cement, plumbers glue/cement or a durable long lasting glue and/or old bicycle tube rubber cemented patch.
Would work but if you wanna 1+ this repair idea and your willing to spend a bit more $$ for tape gorilla glue has a line of electrical tape that’s way more durable and would hold up longer keep up the videos bud👍.

It worked for me Now I can wash my car instead of looking like the water holes washed me😀😂💧🚿
Thank you so much h
This works until you place a garden nozzle on the end and it’s shut off and builds pressure within the hose.
This is my thought exactly. I used gorilla wet/seal tape and couldnt get it to work.
Theres rubber tape or mastic tape. Epoxy tape . You can tape it with hvac 557 tape or normal ducttape and just wrap a string around it
Exactly. He should have put a sprayer on the end- or is that why he didn’t?!
What I’ll recommend you is at first, put an extra teflon tape on it and then recover it with rubber tape. Probably, you’ll get better results.
Will this work for a pressure washer hose?
Would this hold for a long time?
Also if i cant shut off the water is there a way to use like zip ties to block the water or smth?
No, it won't hold outdoors. Electrical tape won't last. You need to put uv resistant tape, or fix it properly using hose clamps
Love it that he says wasted instead of used lol

That black electrical tape does not work for bigger holes. Maybe a tiny pinhead sized hole, but any bigger the pressure will burst right thru.
