I love Atelier Lusso pens! They’re so beautiful. One day, I’ll add one to my collection. If I can ever get to one I like before they’re sold out. This one is beautiful.
I don't know why. It's just turned resin with a jowo nib. Real abalone is illegal. The anything sold claiming to be abalone inside the USA isn't worth 2 cents. You can mix your own resin and turn it on your own pen lathe that you can buy for less than 100, insert your own parts that you can buy a million for 20. They aren't any good anymore anyway. The nibs aren't and never will be a good as they used to be. Even today's gold nibs are a 1000 x stronger than vintage nibs. Which takes all the beauty of if writing with fountain pens. Until they can make nibs as good as they used to be there really no point.
@@phillipstroll7385 I definitely see what you are saying about vintage nibs. No flex nibs attempted these days compare to vintage flex nibs. As to the rest of your opinion - I respectfully disagree. Sure, Jowo nibs are nothing to be too excited about, but Eric’s artistry is. I am a small maker myself and while with some equipment and training I could maybe make a pen myself my vision and artistry would be different than his. This is my personal grail as far as handcrafted pens go and it is a deeply personal experience, hence- please, don’t rain on my parade.
It didn't write well . I think its because u didn't fill ink directly instead you first fill the convertor. As it was new and unused u should have filled directly.😊

Thank you so much ❤️ oh my, i feel you. I won’t probably be able to buy another ever again - it was pure luck 😂
