    That vertical dent on the B pillar and the way that the hatch doesn't line up makes me think that the unibody is bent from a rear end wreck. You're an artist tho, I'm sure you'll get it strait. Keep up the good work bro!

    Awesome job man! Those urethane bumper covers were wavy from the factory. Most body shops won’t touch them. Very hard to block them and they actually flex in the wind at highway speeds.. I’ve seen a lot of beautiful paint jobs spider crack on those front bumpers. You’ve definitely showed a ton of work.. best narration along with each step.. mad props brother spray

      You right on the bumper covers Brett. Especially on the flat area where the lights at.

    • @superchile9640
      @superchile9640 3 года назад

      You’re right about that. I was told it would be easier to just replace mine. I did not! I worked them myself and they were super hard to straighten out. I made stands from wood to give them a harder surface to work on. I also used my orbital sander since it doesn’t put much force down on the material.

    • @superchile9640
      @superchile9640 3 года назад

      Also used a different filler for them. One that is flexible. On the spider cracks I sanded all the way down into the urethane and used the flexible filler. They’re pained now and don’t show any spider cracks but only time will tell.

    That back hatch ain’t that easy to get off. It requires cutting the sealer from the class. To do that you have to remove the whole glass and do it on a bench or floor on a blanket. Long story short..... tape it up!!!!

    • @SprayWayCustoms
      @SprayWayCustoms  3 года назад +5

      I took my glass off while attached to the car. Used the longest knife it have- butcher knife from my knife block. All I did was go yah it through a lot and then there were only a few spots holding it on. Took all of 10 minutes. That urethane adhesive is soft and doesn’t fight much since the car is old. I’m still in the air for what to use to reattach it. I’ve heard that after attaching it ya should wait 2-3 weeks before putting the shocks back on.

    I would just like to point out how frigging steady Sprayways hand is when he’s shooting paint. You don’t realize how hard that is to do until you watch your own hand spraying. I though I was pretty good until I paid attention and realized I look like I have Parkinson’s disease. Thanks for sharing your knowledge Sprayway!

    Sprayway you are seriously my favorite videos to watch on RUclips. Bro for real I would come and work for you for free just to learn. Keep grinding bro. Very proud to see you getting all of this work and mastering you craft.

    That’s a cool wing. Mine has the 3 piece spoiler that all has to line up. The tension on the back hatch moves the hatch and misaligns everything.
