Lots of good info. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much for the fuzzies education!
Glad it was helpful! If I'd know those tips before my first time using it, I wouldn't have sweated so much! 🙂

Great! Thank you!!
painters tape is very useful in cutting minky . I just put it on the line I will be cutting and cut down the center of the tape . :).
That's certainly a popular choice, even though it's not mine 🙂
Where did you find your rectangular magnetic dish and the colorful corsage pins?
The rectangular magnetic dish came from Aldi!!!! The pins are the ones sold by Grace - I got them at a Kathy Quilts booth at a quilt show.
Do you use the glide thread in both the top and bobbin? Where do I find that thread? Thank you for your help.
can you back a larger quilt with minky by piecing the minky? how would you piece it?
I have done that twice. I stitched a 1/2" seam and used a pressing cloth to press the seam open.
do you use cotton thread to quilt on the minky?
I use 40 wt Glide thread
HELP! Using Minky on back and my minky is pulling to the top in every stitch! I have tried just about everything and can't make it stop. Any advice?
This is what someone else recommended. I haven't tried it though. They use an extra layer of a thin piece like muslin between batting and minky.
Throw it in the dryer and it will seal the edges
Yes, I have heard that is what some do. That would be a lot more effort on my part with 2 sets of stairs between my sewing room and dryer. So much quicker & easier for me to detach my little vacuum hose!
