I'm glad you stopped doing that...that's quite the toxic approach to life. Another trend spotted, I guess we've all been edgy ~unique~ kids once, intentionally hating whatever trend other people seem to be enjoying. I also thought the skinny jeans trend was stupid until I tried them myself.
The current trend is pretty basic and minimalistic, which I find to be a good thing because there’s a lot of room for customization or low effort styles. If everyone is bold and expressive, then nobody is.

I think the most interesting thing was that the lips are the focal point of most photos now whereas the eyes were in the 2010s. It shows where the beauty focus was...back then heavy eye makeup was the trend and now full lips and filler are the trend.

Society puts too much pressure on women to look a certain way. It's like the things that really matter get completely over shadowed like, kindness, empathy, and integrity etc. And social media only makes that problem 10 times worse. After I deleted my social media pages, I was so much happier with myself. I hope for you that you focus on the love you have for yourself and all the great attributes that make you who you are.

Love this! Just one thing though - those nails weren’t really 2000’s. The nails were very squared, lots of neon and zebra print as well.
