No nonsense, just quality information portrayed with the just the right visuals and commentary, and small touch of non-intrusive humor, and a calm and easy to understand voice. @Grifflicious - You're my new favorite RL RUclipsr!
    After dozens of videos on air roll, and recent questions about this mechanic, I was astonished by the quality, uniqueness & potential impact of your videos.
    I LOVE how you break these mechanics down piece-by-piece so you can actually train for muscle memory!
    (frustrating when a term is thrown around with zero understanding / or intentional omission until you pass the paywall...)
    I haven't trained mechanics in over a year, but with these simple, logical & trainable progressions -- how could I not give them a try?!
    You have saved me loads of time, and added value to a game I already love. The least I can do is like, sub & comment.
    Thank you! 🙏
    Even though these 2 videos will likely keep me busy for months, I'm looking forward to your next tutorials!

I don't know if other RUclipsrs just don't want to give up the sauce, or maybe they're bad at teaching, or think we're all too stupid to get it, but you shoot straight, and man... In the last couple of months, you've fixed my air rolls, taught me to flip reset, and now the prettiest and fastest flick in the business. I've always loved to watch mawkkzy play, just because it's so impressive to see what he can do with the ball, and I'd tried and tried to emulate something like his flick, but after watching this video a few times, slowing it down and working out your button overlay, I got a 117km/hr flick and a 114! So pretty! Really appreciate you and the work you do. 🎉

    holy shit man tnx i saw this flick in some showmatches and have been tryna find ways to do it i kinda understood the concept that he was backflipping cos the 180 was the fastest but never knew how he went into that position so quickly.. i managed to hit on in like 10 minutes thanks man imma practice this shit and get more consistent

    Just hit 71 mph (114 kph) on my second day of trying and it felt amazing, spent another 20 mins chasing that feeling but couldn't get it again lol. But thanks for the awesome tutorial, hopefully I'll be able to get it more consistently with more days of practice

    First person I’ve ever seen that uses an identical button layout to me. I use square as boost and for a while found it difficult to perform certain things until i learned how to press square and x at the same time

    One thing I would have added would be not going supersonic. Your flick turns the ball supersonic, but as for dribbling aspect if I'm going top speed I find it impossible to flick. As the ball is going to fast to catch up to during the flick attempt. Just an inch to far. Very near supersonic is the best. As far as I know anyway. Maybe it's possible but I haven't found a way as I'm only mediocre at flicks.
    Very great tutorial by the way.

    • @Grifflicious
      @Grifflicious  Год назад +1

      Thank you. It can actually be done both ways! It really depends on where the ball is resting on your hood when you jump and attempt the flick. Like I mentioned, I found that moment just before it would feel like the ball would roll off towards the front of the hood was the best time to jump and setup the flick. It keeps the ball close but allows for high speed and slight spacing to flip into the ball.

      @@Grifflicious cool. Great to know it's possible. Thanks for the breakdowns. I have basic dribble skills. But flicks are super inconsistent. This video will for sure help. Really like the slow mo so I can see each thing that happens in a blink of the eye. My flicks go high, so their good for passes (usually to the opponents when my team isn't ready 🙄). This will help actually score. Hahaaaaaa.

      Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad to hear these videos are doing well. I have a lot more RL content planned and I want to tackle as many of the advanced/popular mechanics as I can to the extent I believe they should be explained in order for anyone to learn them. I felt that way when I figured out air roll and now it's become my mission to touch on as much as possible until I run out of ideas lol.

    ive chosen this flick as my special move as once you get decent at it, you can shorten the amount of time it takes to pull off by quite a large amount. even if you're hitting 100kph and not 100+ its so deadly in the lower ranks. (anything below gc2)
