Thanks for sharing buddy! I just caught a digger doing the same thing!
Any tips on trapping coyotes in about 6 inches of snow?
I bed my traps right in the snow on top of wax paper, then wax paper over top. Put traps in an area that is going to stay shaded for obvious reasons. As long as it stays below freezing this set will work. I mainly do scent posts and blind sets. It’s been a method that gives me an extra two months of trapping each season.
@@KFED721 how do you stabilize the trap?
@@jarredladuke snow packs. Think of what a snowmobile trail groomer does.
I bed in the snow as well, except I use a plastic bag from the vegetable section of the grocery store. They keep the trap from freezing and so thin they rip apart when animals get in them.

with 2 traps together it stops the fox from being able to rotate once it is attached twice. this usually causes leg breaks as there is no longer any swivel. you should connect the second trap to the chain of the anchored traps so the other one gets set of from the rattling.
Good deal
Do you have a video on trap prep ???

Great video! Thanks! Eithor fox or coyote digs up my traps too! You dont use wax paper as trap pan covers? They probably give off a scent?
👍🏻😎
Is that trap set on an angle right at the hole or is it flat and I’m just seeing things?
I'd hate to think it takes about $5 worth of store bought bait per set.
That’s one of the positives of being the actual bait maker. Can’t overdo it with bait and my sweat equity pays for it.
Anyone else about shit themselves when the bug was on the screen
