Great info on the different kinds of beaver casters I am still new to all this bait and lure making stuff. I have a lot of fun trying to come up with something that I can use here on my trap line. Great to see your son’s hard work is paying off for him.

When I’m on vacation visiting family in Vermont we have several spots to fish for Brook trout. These run offs are at the widest 4 feet and narrow to only 18 inches lined with rocks. They run through some very fence woods where the mosquitoes will drain the blood from you if the moose don’t scare the crap out of you. We use a pinch of night crawler on a small hook bouncing it along the rocks. They range 5 to 7 inches and my biggest was right at 8 inches. The smaller one taste the best. The first time I ever went I was saying to myself we won’t catch anything in here and I was wrong. I don’t remember the limit but I kept at least 6.

Brookies are native to our southern Appalachians, here in Western NC.

Johnny gave a 8oz bottle of Colorado Cat and I didn't catch a thing with it , it smelled like it should of , I was catching 2 to 5 cats a week but for some reason central nm cats didn't like it

I think Big coon can escape from any coilspring trap. But I know for sure they can get out of my size 3 and 4.
