ROFL! It's all about how you write it, not the actual outcome. In my opinion, New Blood should have been written a bit different, ending with Dexter in a supermax prison.
@@dnadz I think now after already 2 "endings" and attempting a new one, it doesn't really matter what the ending will be. We have reached a point where Dexter fans are so split into different fractions with previous expectation disappointments, not matter what it will be, I think it won't be received well, whatever happens. Put yourself in the shoes of the writers here - do you do something completely unsurprising just to satisfy previous disappointments? Do you attempt something new and surprising which will once again bring back the same voices "you didn't give us what we wanted"? If you put him in prison, and then the studio wants another season? Seems like a task which will always be bad somehow.
I JUST WANT DEXTER TO DELIVER AN EPIC MONOLOGUE LIKE HOW HE KILLED EVERYONE AND HE IS PROUD OF IT WHILE SITTING ON AN ELECTRIC CHAIR SOMETHING LIKE BETTER CALL SOUL
Angel needs to interrogate Dexter and finally pin him to everything. Ice Truck Killer, Doakes, La Guerta etc. I also really hope Masuka, Mattews, Quin are all there for it too. And hopefully we can see Astor and Codys reactions to it all. My one question is will we even see Harrison in this? Wouldnt make sense considering hes on the run
@@dnadzI think Harrison’s story has ended. He probably won’t be a killer and listen to his urges because he clearly doesn’t want to be like Dexter. Idk if we are even still gonna get a Harrison spinoff but the New Blood ending with him driving away and smiling felt like a good ending and conclusion to his character. He can be happy and move on, unlike Dexter. But I can imagine seeing a Harrison cameo if he’s in the courtroom with Cody and aster watching Dexter getting sentenced for his actions
Harrison is only wanted for questioning. We all know it was Kurt Caldwell who shot Dexter, they still haven’t found that old man after they found his bunker and he went on the run
Dexter Resurrection is planned to be a multi-season TV series, there’s no way he’s going to trial in season one, handcuffs in a podunk hospital aren’t going to stop Dexter once he wakes up
You're forgetting one thing- they have zero concrete evidence against him being the BHB, they can't even convict him for it. Logan's death, however? That one is more possible, but he and his lawyer could spin it as self-defense since Logan DID attempt to shoot at him.
@@JosephGonzalez-lv9ib The truth doesn't matter in a court of law, only what you can prove. Dexter's lawyer can spin it however they can even if it isn't true.
The thing about Resurrection is that they have a wide range of writing options. Resurrection can be 4-5 wildly different things. The only thing we know so far is that Dexter survives the gunshot, we know they're not retconning the last 15 minutes as a "dream". My theory is: Angela taking the blame for shooting Dexter will backfire massively on Iron Lake PD. The forensics will show that Dexter was not resisting his shooter, Dexter knows this, so he will spin a narrative of police brutality, corruption and a love triangle between Angela, Logan and himself. Long story short, the charges against Dexter Morgan will be dismissed. Angela will manage to keep her job, but just barely, her superiors will prohibit her from ever interacting or mentioning Dexter ever again, she will not even be allowed to speak to the press about her Dexter=BHB theory. This preserves Dexter's secret so he can kill again. The press will be preoccupied with Kurt Caldwell's case. Dexter will flee to a new state and it's likely that Batista and Quinn will be the ones trying to bring him to justice somehow. But I also think Quinn knew Dexter was the BHB all along, so it might not play out the way Batista wants. Will Quinn be a friend, foe, or neutral to Dexter? Does Miami Metro know what Dexter did to Debra? Would Quinn understand or lash out?
Imagine he's convicted and in a special prison, with bullet proof glass like Hannibal Lectnar. Then, a young detective or FBI agent has to work with him to catch killers.
@@mikerude5073that’s how I hope it ends . Why keep him alive after new blood just for him to get the death penalty anyway? It’s stupid. That’s why I didn’t like new blood because it felt like they just made the show to kill off Dexter since they wanted to in season 8 but showtime wouldn’t let then
I always thought Harry, Vogel, Lundy, and Matthews "created" him as a project and used their influence to protect him as he cleaned up Miami. I do hope he gets a happy ending.
@@gonzacardin6615 After his and Laguerta's investigation and all the facts (Dexter's mother's death, his brother being the ITK, Doakes dying in the cabin owned by one of the guys who killed the mother), yeah I would say that if he had an IQ above at least 60 he definitely knew. Maybe even way before that. All Matthews cared about was himself, he had no interest in re-opening a 7 year old case (biggest in the Miami Metro history) and admitting that they fucked up + he had a soft spot for the Morgans.
I do also hope they go down the route of it’s all this huge conspiracy that a lot of the higher ups for Miami metro know about Dexter’s killings and turn a blind eye to it in the name of justice and lowering the crime rate one kill at a time
I think Dexter should come to a realization that he made up the dark passenger because he already realized he didn't NEED to kill in season 8. But I think they should do the CIA storyline, but make it ironic that he doesn't want to kill anymore. That killing has brought him nothing but pain. And I think he needs to have a vision of Doakes tell him that it's okay to change and move on as long as he atones by doing what's right. Dex then should bargain with the CIA to get a new life as a detective where he can use his skills to put people away legally as that's what Deb and Harry really would have wanted. But he's not living a "happy" life. And if you want a "dark" ending, have somebody related to Logan end Dexter, thus continuing the cycle of vigilante fueled violence.
I just dont think Dexter should die for the ending. I feel like the original vision had Dexter just never getting caught which I like. A serial killer who never gets caught that people think was caught. Brilliant writing. Just dont kill my boy! 🙏
Yeah no. The final book is called Dexter is dead which ends with him and his brother going kill crazy against drug cartel they both die in a boat explosion.
@rhysoneill7399 dont know if you noticed but no one mentioned the books bro. The books are vastly different from the show so I feel like that should've been obvious.
Dexter NEEDS to die. Don’t get me wrong he’s an amazing character but I’d find it much more entertaining seeing court scenes for a few episodes with Batista, Quinn, Lumen, Astor and Cody. If they go the route of turning him into a killer for the government I think for me at least they’ll have ruined the ending 3 times
Yeah it's either he dies or goes Hannibal lecter type roll at the end and helps them track serial killers in prison instead of getting the chair. I really would be fed up if Dexter gets away again at the end, so over that
I can't stand the endless moralizing and self-righteousness of a lot of fans. When did this become a morality play? The endless self reflection culminating in suicide would make this the worst Dexter ending yet
Honesty all I want to see is angel and maybe Quinn as well finally confront Dex after finding out about his years and years of lies and the part he played in the deaths of people they cared about ( Maria and Deb ) new blood teased us with this but then Robbed us at the last moment and that was honestly the only issue I had with that show. I know some folk probably want Dex to get an ending where he continues living his life doing what he does but personally I've always thought that this show had to end with some major consequences for Dex given everything he's done its just the way it is for people like him.
I wanted New Blood to feature Quinn returning as an FBI agent in charge of Matt Caldwell's disappearance and the girls' disappearance (assuming nothing retconned about Season 8 that is), that would have made things tricky for Dexter Morgan. Let's say Quinn joined the FBI to investigate Debra Morgan's disappearance after the case was taken away from Miami Metro due to lack of results. Initially, Quinn would pretend he doesn't know who Dexter is, Dexter would pretend he doesn't know Quinn (ironically Angela would be the one to "introduce" them to each other) but pretty quickly Joe would confront Dexter about the events at the end of Season 8. As Dexter would try to make up lies and explain himself, Quinn would flat out tell him "I know you're the Bay Harbor Butcher, Dexter", ending the second episode on this cliffhanger and establishing early on that Quinn knew all along. Overall, Quinn would be his ally at first, he would even help him take down an enemy or two to gain his trust, but he would slowly turn on him as he figures out his level of responsibility in Debra's disappearance and death. Around this time, Angela would also figure out who Jim Lindsay is but also figure out that Joey Quinn was no stranger to Dexter/Jim, raising suspicions to Angela and the FBI that Quinn is a crooked double agent who has not been honestly investigating Matt Caldwell's disappearance/murder. In the final episodes, Dexter would face multiple antagonists (Quinn, Molly, Angela, even Logan, each going after Dexter with a different strategy) and eventually get caught. Quinn would not survive, Angela wouldn't make it out unscarred, but Dexter would fall.
Resurrection Season 1 should be Dexter on the run, Season 2 is him caught and the justice system and Season 3-4 is him working for the government and a lot more like Prison Break but with an actual killer, and at the end he meets the code and removes himself
As much as the tone would be hard to balance, it would be phenomenal if we saw Saul as Dexter's Lawyer and somehow made BB and BCS canon to Dexter. It's a silly idea but it would blow fans' minds just to know they exist together.. and with that, the possibilities of who Dexter goes after could be insane. I mean we've seen crazier crossovers on TV before
@@NdzNdzNdz Honestly that would be crazy. Im starting to see more and more people referencing Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Do you think people like yourself would be interested in videos surrounding those shows? If so got any ideas or suggestions?
If they wrote New Blood a bit better, I think it could have been the end with no need to have Resurrection fix the mistakes of the last 2 series. I have a theory up if you wanna check on how New Blood should have ended. Now, if they go down this route with the CIA, I think Dexter should die for good, but it shouldn't be suicide, I think the audience would hate that no matter how you write it. I think instead Dexter should die while saving Lumen. If Dexter goes after a corrupt CIA official, I think that official may target Lumen in revenge or something. Or maybe leave Lumen out (if it feels repetitive) and replace her with some foreign political dissident who's hunted by both her own government and the CIA despite being innocent and not fitting the code. Care should also be taken by the writers so that whatever corrupt official Dexter goes after doesn't have too much in common with Miguel Prado. Audience doesn't like it if things seem repetitive. I'd find some way to include Quinn in this, I think Quinn knew Dexter was the BHB.
A great ending will be with 8 more seasons of Dexter on the run, getting caught, time in prison, failed trial, escape, works with the FBI, uncovers cia/nsa corruption, witness protection etc.
They might genuinely jump the shark at some point, it's better to just find an ending that works and can score at least an 8/10 and leaves most of us satisfied. It would be entertaining, but no need to drag this out until MCH is 95 and in a wheel chair lol.
@@toromontana8290 thats a wrong thought tbh. Mike was in his late 60s and early 70s on better call saul. Still was a beast. Michael c Hall can also give a good performance for at least a few years. He is only 53
or what if resurrection ends with his death but they go back to season 2 with doakes but he is unable to frame doakes for being the butcher, but now it turns into a nationwide manhunt for dexter?
The best story for Dexter resurrection season 1: Dexter wakes op on trail for Bhb and other murders which goes public ……..while on trial in prison he reveals to Batista all the details of the people he murdered and who they had murdered which becomes an international news sensation making him a folk hero like Luigi mangeonie ……also while in prison they could have a side story about prison murders and dexter taking out more killers inside the prison ……. After when dexter gets extradited to Florida for death row and walked like superman and Luigi bhb murderous fans rescue him for season 2
The thing is: every fan want their own ending. For some people dexter dying is very good choice. But for some: happy ending would be better. Him, finally getting rid of Dark Passenger, faking his death maybe and becoming normal guy. In place he likes, with his family. But that's not gonna happen because of New Blood. Some of people want to do this your way, FBI secret agent, killing people as a assasin. It's really hard to make overall good ending.
I dont think its Just him dyong is the eye they closed it. Teasing a confrontstion with Batista and not felivering it, a rushed ending. New blood was almost perfect. Give more 2 episode tô have Batista and the exposure of dexter tô the world as BHB on the molly podcast and would be well endend
@@dnadz Death, prison, running away to live happily ever after in Argentina, faking his death, I could accept any outcome if they wrote it well. For example I think Dexter Season 8 should have ended with him getting caught by Quinn and confessing to being the BHB after Debra is falsely accused of being the BHB or something along those lines. He confesses to save Deb, she is released. Quinn lets Hannah flee the country, Harrison is raised by Deb. Dexter is convicted and sent to ADX Florence. On the way to prison, he tries to escape, causing the prison bus to crash into the sea, killing everyone on the bus except for him. Dexter has to grapple with being responsible for the deaths of two innocent guards now, not just guilty inmates. He is presumed dead along with everyone else, but flees to Oregon and next Iron Lake. New Blood (if you want to even write this after a better Season 8 with audience satisfied): Similar story with Angela (and Molly) slowly discovering he's Dexter Morgan and discovering he's a convicted felon who was falsely assumed to be dead. Ghost Rita takes over from ghost Harry and tries to help him abstain, but this fails when Matt Caldwell enters the picture. The villain is the same: Kurt Caldwell, but he's also in league with Ed Olsen who is an even bigger villain and Kurt's handler and financier. Olsen trained Kurt to kill and cover his tracks after discovering Kurt killed Iris in a messy way. Olsen himself never gets his hands dirty, but he films it and puts it online for sadistic clients to watch, it's how he really got wealthy. After Olsen is exposed he is known to the press as the Dollmaker. Olsen is basically an evil sadistic man like Jordan Chase, but much more dangerous and wealthy. Dexter catches wind of what they're doing and kidnaps Angela, putting her on his table and being somewhat unhappy it's come to this since Angela is innocent, but also being unnecessarily cruel to her, taking a blood slide of her just to prove he can, mocking her she couldn't catch him, coldly telling Angela he doesn't care what happens to Audrey if she becomes an orphan, making ghost Rita (since Debra is alive here) abandon him for good and seeing him for the monster he is. Angela will survive this though. He's exposed on camera by Molly. "It's already over, Dexter... it's already over" Molly tells him, a tribute to Trinity. For the first time since his conviction as the BHB, Dexter decides to sit down with Molly for an interview and tells his life's story as SWAT units close in on him, having traced the GPS coordinates on Molly's phone. He finally arrives at the supermax prison in Florence. Ghost Doakes takes over Harry/Rita's role and mocks him because he finally got put in his place and he's now inside his head to torment him for decades to come. Doakes will even be dressed like a prison guard in the finale. Resurrection could be the CIA plot after that, although if the last two endings were better, this would feel like a cash grab I guess.

Thank you bro! Dude yes original sin is actually a pleasant surprise. Very good quality. I’m thinking of doing a Captain Matthews knew Dexter’s secret video!
@@dnadz Original Sin will likely reveal things that we didn't know about and that even Dexter doesn't know about. I wonder if Dexter's boss ever finds out. One theory I heard is that she finds out, then Harry finds out, kills her, commits suicide due to the guilt. It makes more sense than the original version. I don't think Harry would be so upset over Dexter killing some random thug.
I think that Harrison might have missed his heart, and the cold slowed down the bleeding. I say that because Harrison wasn’t great with the gun his first couple tries but we’ll see how they spin it, maybe by the end of original sin season one we’ll have some idea and see how it leads to resurrection. Great video!
Since the show is called resurrection, I feel like they’re going to have him work with the police on one last big bad before he inevitably dies for good.
The CIA plot actually sounds dope, people finally seeing him for what he is and helping him with the best resources. I wonder how you’d add a good challenge or antagonist to someone with all the advantage.
@@dnadz It all depends on MCH, I think we might get at least 3 seasons now, who knows. Eventually the actor will age too much to be a credible serial killer, but then again Trinity was old.

This has got to be the worst theory I've ever heard in my entire life. And I'm a Dresden Files fan, I've heard some good awful theories. This deserves a gold medal for worst theory crafting of all time.
new blood coulve ended it perfectly, I just wish that there was a police chase or smth and a reunion with batista before harrison kills him, also they just make more spin offs for money atp
I'm not really sure Dexter will actually get charged with the Bay Harbor Butcher stuff cause as far as we've seen in New Blood it's only really circumstantial evidence, they can't really prove he murdered Matt Caldwell either, the only murder they can prove is ironically Logan, with a good lawyer Dexter could probably get off on all those charges besides Logan.
I have a theory he might get off on Logan's murder as well. If I was Saul Goodman, I'd question several things: 1. Why did Logan fire off his gun inside Dexter's cell? Did Dexter actually initiate this act of aggression or was Logan trying to kill him? Maybe if I'm a crooked lawyer, my fixer can plant some evidence in Logan's house "proving" that Logan was jealous of Dexter and wanted Angela for himself, that there's some love triangle going on. 2. Why is the arresting officer and the officer in charge of the case his ex-girlfriend? This is a conflict of interest, we can't even be sure that the screw recovered from Dexter's house wasn't placed there by Angela herself, on top of the fact that the screw itself proves nothing, technically it doesn't even prove Matt is dead, although there is more evidence against Kurt Caldwell killing his son at this point than Dexter killing Matt. 3. Angela's evidence doesn't add up. BHB never used ketamine, never killed drug dealers, never burned bodies, never forced victims to snort coke to kill them, It's far more likely that she simply read about the BHB case and decided to frame him, profiting from the fact that Dexter and Doakes worked in the same department and the fact that LaGuerta herself made the same accusation despite Estrada being alive at the time of Dexter's first arrest. 4. Is the drug dealer willing to testify against Dexter in court that Dexter tried to drug him but backed off when he saw the cops? Unlikely, those guys don't snitch. Or his testimony could be invalidated due to drugs he was actually taking that day. 5. The forensic evidence from Dexter's shooting would only incriminate Angela for police brutality, there is no way she can prove she shot Dexter in self-defense and if she tells the truth she's going to prison for accessory to attempted murder. She will be lucky to still have a job after this.
I guess it would repeat the entire dark passenger thing where he chooses that doesn't have to kill, and either just be sent to prison and accept his fate.
I'm a medical student and I was joking with my non medical friend that they could make him have Dextrocardia since I'm 90% sure Harrison shot him straight in the Left Ventricle which is the chamber of the heart that pumps blood to all organs, so it would not make sense to live (he should die in minutes). Also dextrocardia is not that rare compared to other congenital defects It's quite funny that someone else thought of this haha
Can we confirm that from the Original Sin opening? They had a defib device on him, was it placed in a way that's consistent with Dextrocardia or we can't tell?
It's a shame I know the community doesn't really like the idea of Dextrocardia but I'd say that's much more likely than Harrison barely missing Dexter's heart (it looks like that's what they are going with)
Dexter ending himself is the worst possible answer, If Resurrection gets 2-3 seasons I would like to see the first season happen to like the video above, however, have a trial, and have Dexter answer to all the deaths that Miami Metro can pin on him. He'll have the best lawyer that will argue Dexter's childhood created the person that did the murders and while several people knew his secret they all in some way paid the price (except Lumen). The argument would boil down to the people that Dexter took out were worse people and he did a service taking out people that were good at getting away with their crimes. After the trial, he is not allowed to associate with anyone from his past and is forced to leave Miami for a while. While away he is recruited by the feds to be someone to help them crack serial killer cold cases. reviewing evidence, and old tapes and assisting in bringing people to justice. However when he learns that Harrison has returned to Miami and a string of killings has begun very similar to one from Dexter's past Dexter decides to go back to Miami to confront Harrison and the people who used to care for him. Harrison has spent the last year learning everything about the Trinity killer and you learn that Arthurs's son has followed in his father's footsteps.
I want a dexter telltale game. Itd be awesome to see diferent ways you can get away with things. You can even have a mistake have people discover dexter, and now you have a side story where you have an agressive character(doakes) become more aggresive in the main storyline until you either destroy the storyline by letting them die, or extend it until you see how it is even possible he doesnt get discovered.
The only logical and reasonable ending is him going to prison, and facing the death penalty. Angela Bishop was obviously the one taking him to the hospital, at the beginning of Original Sin. She wants him to face actual justice and not just die.
Lila killed Doakes, Deb killed LaGuerta, and Dexter was not even there when Deb was shot....he needs to answer for killing Logan first. I think he will get off on a technicality there & reasonable doubt will set him free from BHB charges.
0:37 Honestly, I only really liked him in the last two seasons and he was a really good character, but it is completely unnecessary for detective Joey Quinn to come back.
Dexter isn't built for the CIA, he's a legitimate psychopath that there is horrible dexter doesn't use guns and he chops up bodies that's not what CIA is looking for. They're looking for Hitmen They use guns and are in a way worse than Dexter because they don't even have a code. I'm not arguing that he doesn't have a special set of skills but they just would be reaching with this storyline. Before any of this happened I wanted new blood to end off one of two ways, His son making a kill room out of Kurt Caldwell's trophy room for Dexter or Dexter getting caught and then doing a prequel through memories in the courtroom, I guess I got my wish in a different way with the prequel
They better do the material justice if they want Dexter Resurrection to be successful enough for multiple seasons, That means they need to finally start adapting from the books and properly build a redemption arc for the character, the limitless potential is there from the source material, just need to have the right type of writers and take the necessary time to flesh it out, The limited prequel season is starting out strong just need to keep the pace and stay on point, they keep doing that there's no where to go but up! 😎😁🔥💯👍🏻
Redemption will be difficult if he's in prison for life for kiling Logan. So I suspect the writers will try to find some way to get his charges dismissed. I'm not sure they want him in prison only killing inmates.
They pull a somehow Palpatine returned. They bring back Deb and she kills Dexter then commits suicide. Just cuz the writers want to prove that the first ending was the best all along
Resurrection should end with Dexter being trialed in miami similar to Frank's court case in daredevil s2 where it is all about public perception of Dexter and how his crimes can be perceived as a necessary evil. Where you have two realistic choices Dexter is sectioned and put into a mental hospital or is tried and sentenced to death (outside of the killers and such he did kill innocent people the photographer and the random hill billy who sure was a cunt yet didn't meet the code) I'm not going to say lagureta as she was a high tier hypocrite remember back to when doakes killed the former hatian officer she never condemned his actions and even agreed with them. Deb died as a consequence of Dexter not killing saxon also.
If he went to trial in Miami, they’d likely try him for the innocent victims first. There’s a way to get public perception against Dexter by wise prosecution
I’m glad they have a chance to fix the story, but Dexter becoming an assassin seems to fantastical, Watching the original again, it seemed more grounded, I was disappointed with the end of new blood. I hope in resurrection they finally rid Dexter of the darkness and a way to heal his son Harrison. There needs to be a definitive end in my opinion, Dexter having a hero’s death or a sacrifice for Harrison was what I wanted in new blood.
This is a really interesting video. About Dexter's heart, it is logical but in season 1 Dexter feels his heart beat with his hand on the left side of his body. It was a specific detail, so it probably won't matter if the writers of Resurrection says he has dextrocardia.
Yeah that’s a dark and sad, depressing and then right there that’s that’s fucked up😂 just wow if that is the ending well I hope he finds peace somehow someway.
That CIA theory sounds cool but Batista would not be there to work for the CIA because he is supposed to be retired by now he is working his restaurant although it would be nice to see him again i don't think it makes much sense to have him a big part of it.
Id love to see him stand trial as the bay harbour butcher and get convicted, but in a way where he goes down in triumph, similar to how Saul/ Jimmy McGill did
Dexter wouldn’t allow himself to be controlled. The whole point of the code guiding him was to kill and not get caught. If he was appeared to be dead to the public, why would he stay with the cia trying to control him? He’s already “dead”, he can just run off and make a new life for himself again.
He would let the CIA control him mainly because he wouldn't have a choice in that circumstance. They would almost certainly threaten to kill him or expose his survival to the public, which would end up with him back in prison very quickly. But I think Dexter would eventually rebel against them if the CIA's demands became excessive or if the CIA demanded that he kill someone who doesn't even remotely fit Harry's code. Terrorists and corrupt foreign officials he probably would kill, innocent civilians, no, he'd rebel then and go rogue.
They need to end Dexter with trial episodes , jail episodes and finally being executed by the electric chair. While they flash back when Harry took him to that execution when he was young.
The heart on the other side would Def be flawless writing and then like him explaining something about how he was born with it etc. Or theory 2. - i always thought he is a forensics expert and knows of the spots where they become fatal , (reason he 👉 points slightly underneath his heart before he gets *pew pew* Remember he did explain already to Harrison about aim right at his heart Why would he point with a smirk on his face. He knows something
He doesn´t have any dextrocardia. Do even people remember 2x01, both the flashback on the top of the roof and he watches the news of the bodybags found on the sea? He was checking his heartbeat on the left side like most humans do.
Ok so what if Dexter actually has no heart? And he’s just actually been a supernatural being this whole time. In resurrection maybe we see that he’s like Micheal myers
love the cia idea could keep dexter going for years. though him and angel couldn't be associated. was deb who killed his ex though lol. Also i want dexter to grow out the human guilt ridden b.s and fully embrace the supreme killing machine he is really is
Ya the CIA one Makes no sense in a story line sorry nothing about you coming up with this theory its a great thinking brainstorm But in all honesty this route would make no sense with the whole story line
You did nothing wrong. I like a good theory video as much as the next person. But after it already being clarified that there'll be ongoing season, this one is just hard for me to get behind. Keep doing what you're doing. The videos are well put together, it's not my first time watching you.

After Resurrection - Fans: "sh*t ending, he should have gone to live in exile" ;))
ROFL! It's all about how you write it, not the actual outcome.
In my opinion, New Blood should have been written a bit different, ending with Dexter in a supermax prison.
@@toromontana8290 that would’ve been a good way to end it
@@dnadz I think now after already 2 "endings" and attempting a new one, it doesn't really matter what the ending will be.
Fact is you can’t please everyone but you shouldn’t try to, Dexter living possibly with Harrison is the only way it can end
I JUST WANT DEXTER TO DELIVER AN EPIC MONOLOGUE LIKE HOW HE KILLED EVERYONE AND HE IS PROUD OF IT WHILE SITTING ON AN ELECTRIC CHAIR SOMETHING LIKE BETTER CALL SOUL
Bro is not like the punisher 😭
I want 5 seasons of this new series
Angel needs to interrogate Dexter and finally pin him to everything. Ice Truck Killer, Doakes, La Guerta etc. I also really hope Masuka, Mattews, Quin are all there for it too. And hopefully we can see Astor and Codys reactions to it all. My one question is will we even see Harrison in this? Wouldnt make sense considering hes on the run
Ya that’s the problem with the New Blood ending…. Harrison could make a return but it would be strange.
I don't like that. It's very predicable, the whole caught and all that ... I really don't think I'd like watching that
@@Billie_Marie_ I mean let's be honest. Is any conclusion worth watching at this point? Who's to say they wont fuck this up again 😂
Thing is, Dexter is still at fault because Logan attempting to shoot him WAS self defense. Dex literally assaulted an officer.
@@JosephGonzalez-lv9ib The truth doesn't matter in a court of law, only what you can prove. Dexter's lawyer can spin it however they can even if it isn't true.
@JosephGonzalez-lv9ib I know, I was just saying that Dexter could spin it in his favor if he wanted.
@ There’s no way he can spin it to his favor. He assaulted an officer, that immediately takes away any credibility that he’s innocent.
@JosephGonzalez-lv9ib Deus ex Dexter, is all I'm gonna say. 🤣
Death, Jail, Death penalty, insanity plee, escapes, free from mistrial, recruitment from FBI, etc there is so many ways this show can end.
Yeah no@@mikerude5073
@@mikerude5073that’s how I hope it ends . Why keep him alive after new blood just for him to get the death penalty anyway? It’s stupid. That’s why I didn’t like new blood because it felt like they just made the show to kill off Dexter since they wanted to in season 8 but showtime wouldn’t let then
I always thought Harry, Vogel, Lundy, and Matthews "created" him as a project and used their influence to protect him as he cleaned up Miami. I do hope he gets a happy ending.
Did Mathews know?
@@gonzacardin6615 After his and Laguerta's investigation and all the facts (Dexter's mother's death, his brother being the ITK, Doakes dying in the cabin owned by one of the guys who killed the mother), yeah I would say that if he had an IQ above at least 60 he definitely knew. Maybe even way before that. All Matthews cared about was himself, he had no interest in re-opening a 7 year old case (biggest in the Miami Metro history) and admitting that they fucked up + he had a soft spot for the Morgans.
How did Lundy create him too did he know harry or something
I do also hope they go down the route of it’s all this huge conspiracy that a lot of the higher ups for Miami metro know about Dexter’s killings and turn a blind eye to it in the name of justice and lowering the crime rate one kill at a time
Lundy def knew he just wanted help with the ice truck killer
In the books the dark passenger was an entity
I just dont think Dexter should die for the ending. I feel like the original vision had Dexter just never getting caught which I like. A serial killer who never gets caught that people think was caught. Brilliant writing. Just dont kill my boy! 🙏
Yeah no.
The final book is called Dexter is dead which ends with him and his brother going kill crazy against drug cartel they both die in a boat explosion.
@rhysoneill7399 dont know if you noticed but no one mentioned the books bro. The books are vastly different from the show so I feel like that should've been obvious.
The books are very different. Doakes doesnt die. Laguerta dies at season 1@@rhysoneill7399
I really would be fed up if Dexter gets away again at the end, so over that
Dexter dying as a ending is overrated, Dexter facing a lifelong isolation is better narratively
The only way Dexter will die is if people don’t watch the next season.
@ if he dies that’s the end of the series and makes a good conclusion. He can’t be doing it till he’s 90
He dies and get isekaied
I can't stand the endless moralizing and self-righteousness of a lot of fans. When did this become a morality play? The endless self reflection culminating in suicide would make this the worst Dexter ending yet
I want to see Matthews play a big role
Interesting, why exactly is that?
That would be crazy but I doubt they would go past 2 seasons.
@@NdzNdzNdz I'd pay good money to just to see Dexter's lawyer portrayed by Bob Odenkirk (even if he isn't Saul Goodman in Dexter)
:))
He'll be on the run i think
A great ending will be with 8 more seasons of Dexter on the run, getting caught, time in prison, failed trial, escape, works with the FBI, uncovers cia/nsa corruption, witness protection etc.
8 more seasons is diabolical ☠️
They might genuinely jump the shark at some point, it's better to just find an ending that works and can score at least an 8/10 and leaves most of us satisfied. It would be entertaining, but no need to drag this out until MCH is 95 and in a wheel chair lol.
You are forgetting Dexter new resurrection (season 9 2)
@@toromontana8290 thats a wrong thought tbh. Mike was in his late 60s and early 70s on better call saul. Still was a beast. Michael c Hall can also give a good performance for at least a few years. He is only 53
or what if resurrection ends with his death but they go back to season 2 with doakes but he is unable to frame doakes for being the butcher, but now it turns into a nationwide manhunt for dexter?
I think Original Sin ruled that out now.
Exactly, it’s really tricky to get a right ending. Honesty I’m just here to see him back in action again!
Resurrection could be the CIA plot after that, although if the last two endings were better, this would feel like a cash grab I guess.
didn't realize the size of this channel. nice stuff man. really looking forward to the new shows. so far first 3 episodes look great, thought out recreations of flashback scenes. maybe mathews knew too..

If I was Saul Goodman, I'd question several things:
You forgot the part where he shaved his head, dawns a black suit with a red tie, tattos a barcode on his head and adopts the name, 47
I'm a medical student and I was joking with my non medical friend that they could make him have Dextrocardia since I'm 90% sure Harrison shot him straight in the Left Ventricle which is the chamber of the heart that pumps blood to all organs, so it would not make sense to live (he should die in minutes). Also dextrocardia is not that rare compared to other congenital defects
It's quite funny that someone else thought of this haha
No way haha! 😂
Can we confirm that from the Original Sin opening? They had a defib device on him, was it placed in a way that's consistent with Dextrocardia or we can't tell?
@toromontana8290 Good point! I checked it and the pads are placed for someone with the heart on the left
@@abcd-zr8zw Maybe a part of Harrison wanted him to be left alive to face justice. So he intentionally didn't give it his best shot.
It's a shame
I know the community doesn't really like the idea of Dextrocardia but I'd say that's much more likely than Harrison barely missing Dexter's heart (it looks like that's what they are going with)
Dexter is just immortal.
No matter what he always survives.
This would be awesome to watch👏
I want a dexter telltale game. Itd be awesome to see diferent ways you can get away with things.
You can even have a mistake have people discover dexter, and now you have a side story where you have an agressive character(doakes) become more aggresive in the main storyline until you either destroy the storyline by letting them die, or extend it until you see how it is even possible he doesnt get discovered.
Him confessing to killing LaGuerta would be fine, to clear his conscience and protect his sister.
The only logical and reasonable ending is him going to prison, and facing the death penalty.
Angela Bishop was obviously the one taking him to the hospital, at the beginning of Original Sin.
She wants him to face actual justice and not just die.
Is this a morality play?
glad that the fans don’t write the show cuz this shit is ass!!😭😭💀💀
Too bad I’m writing the show
Lila killed Doakes, Deb killed LaGuerta, and Dexter was not even there when Deb was shot....he needs to answer for killing Logan first. I think he will get off on a technicality there & reasonable doubt will set him free from BHB charges.
Dexter Resurrection's finale is confirmed to have post credits: Punisher recruits him to the MCU
Does this mean he will be in avengers secret wars?
imagine if dex had just joined the military
Fr
Where you have two realistic choices Dexter is sectioned and put into a mental hospital or is tried and sentenced to death (outside of the killers and such he did kill innocent people the photographer and the random hill billy who sure was a cunt yet didn't meet the code)
I'm not going to say lagureta as she was a high tier hypocrite remember back to when doakes killed the former hatian officer she never condemned his actions and even agreed with them.
Deb died as a consequence of Dexter not killing saxon also.
If he went to trial in Miami, they’d likely try him for the innocent victims first. There’s a way to get public perception against Dexter by wise prosecution
I’m glad they have a chance to fix the story, but Dexter becoming an assassin seems to fantastical,
Watching the original again, it seemed more grounded, I was disappointed with the end of new blood.
Thanks bro!
While I think the CIA angle is a bit silly, it would be absolutely wild to see them go for it.
Dexter would never kill himself
Sounds terrible 🔥
Thanks bro!
nah dude don’t listen to the hate this is fire!
Yeah that’s a dark and sad, depressing and then right there that’s that’s fucked up😂 just wow if that is the ending well I hope he finds peace somehow someway.
😢😅
That CIA theory sounds cool but Batista would not be there to work for the CIA because he is supposed to be retired by now he is working his restaurant although it would be nice to see him again i don't think it makes much sense to have him a big part of it.
Dexter literally would never off himself, based on season 2
How so?
@dnadz can't remember exactly, but both Doakes and Dexter both agreed that k-lling themselves is pathetic or something
Id love to see him stand trial as the bay harbour butcher and get convicted, but in a way where he goes down in triumph, similar to how Saul/ Jimmy McGill did
After seeing he goes to the hospital how much you want to bet he escapes and becomes a fugitive?
never predict shows... please dont
Terrible ending
Wait. There is another season after main one?
The heart on the other side would Def be flawless writing and then like him explaining something about how he was born with it etc.
Or theory 2. - i always thought he is a forensics expert and knows of the spots where they become fatal , (reason he 👉 points slightly underneath his heart before he gets *pew pew*
Remember he did explain already to Harrison about aim right at his heart
Why would he point with a smirk on his face.
He knows something
The cia one would be f-in phenomenal
He doesn´t have any dextrocardia. Do even people remember 2x01, both the flashback on the top of the roof and he watches the news of the bodybags found on the sea?
He was checking his heartbeat on the left side like most humans do.
Ok so what if Dexter actually has no heart? And he’s just actually been a supernatural being this whole time. In resurrection maybe we see that he’s like Micheal myers
You have fire writing
Thanks man!
I'll i wanna see to be honest :) and i not the only one
The reuniting of batista and Dex whether it be on them on opposite sides of the law
love the cia idea could keep dexter going for years. though him and angel couldn't be associated. was deb who killed his ex though lol.
Also i want dexter to grow out the human guilt ridden b.s and fully embrace the supreme killing machine he is really is
I like the CIA angle ... very interesting.
He's gonna go to trial and become a celebrity.
That was actually another interesting theory I’ve heard
NO
YES
Dexter is partnered with DOAKES… who’s death was also faked by the CIA. Comedy ensues!!!!!1
u did not cook buddy... just put the fries in the bag
Nah I think I cooked lil bro
Dexter/Burn Notice.
Dude im sorry but this is a shit prediction
Thanks man
Agent Dexter 😮
Just Recton the ending to the Original series or recton new blood's ending.
They kinda did, Dexter survives being shot.
Ya the CIA one
Makes no sense in a story line sorry nothing about you coming up with this theory its a great thinking brainstorm
But in all honesty this route would make no sense with the whole story line
After dexter resurrection There should be a Harrison show
I heard they scrapped it. Harrison wasn't a popular character so we might not see it.
@ idk they might make it
i think with original sin the way hes narrating his life he is maybe explaining it to court or to someone in like a mental ward or smth
That’s interesting.
It’s supposed to be his life flashing before his eyes
Idc about a trailer I just want a synopsis for the show wtf is this gonna be about
This got really silly really quick
Dexter is a silly show
@dnadz sure, it can get pretty silly... but not that silly.
@ sorry you didn’t like the video, what could I improve on
You did nothing wrong. I like a good theory video as much as the next person. But after it already being clarified that there'll be ongoing season, this one is just hard for me to get behind. Keep doing what you're doing. The videos are well put together, it's not my first time watching you.
@@TheCptCheeseI appreciate it bro thank you!
Florida will fry him
Imagine a Scene where Matthews would just kill himself after all the things he has done (un)intentionally to save sexters ass
Ummm bro spin off,the trinity
maybe
But maybe he goes to lumen and be with her or tell her to kill him
I would also like Dexter to somehow end up in Argentina, like he always planned on going with Hannah and Harrison.
Lost me at CIA come on bruh
What else do ya want brotha
@ honestly I think about it really could be good they gotta get quality villains I don’t see Dexter being a cia agent 😭😭😭
I like it
I chose a good time to start watching lmao
Fr man Dexter is coming back!
Yea this is a terrible idea
Ya on second hand, I think Dexter should time travel back to S1 and instead of killing Brian, he teams up with him. Eventually they end up taking out everyone in the entire world, and they rule the world together on an iron thrown.
