Working on Passepied. Should I work on the entire piece at lower tempo or part of the piece? It’s a 32 bar piece, so fairly short.
Its is best to break down a piece into small chunks and then add the chunks together to make a whole. That way you can focus more on the parts giving you the most trouble and less time on the parts that are easier.

Thank you that is a great tip with try. At the moment I'm still having difficulty placing my fingers every time in the correct spot to achieve the correct pitch/ note. I practice scales daily sometimes time i achieve the correct spot then the next moment im too sharp or flat in always having to correct ! Any tips or helpful suggestions to finding the note every time or most times. Kind regards Debralea

yes, get a violin fingering sticker that will allow you not only to remember where the notes are but to play with accuracy. if you have access to a scanner/printer then print one out & use the copy to stick to the fingerboard & keep the original as a master.
