Coilover Install! | INFINITI M45 M35 G35 350Z

- Whats up fam,
In this video I will be installing Raceland coilovers on the M45.
These coilovers were on and made for a g35 coupe. For the rwd Infiniti M45 and M35 they have what most people call forks on the ends of the coilovers the same as a g35 and 350z. I decided to test these out to see if they would fit and as you can see from the video there was no issues at all installing them. FYI- Now for the 370z and g37 platform they will not fit because they have a knuckle at the front struts vs a fork.

There isn't much M45 content out there, so I really appreciate ur videos, I'm still exploring what mods I can do to my 06 M45s, currently I just have a custom Y-pipe with secondary cat's delete, muffler's delete, drop-in k&n and it runs very decent, but still looking for more mods, i'm also interested on getting a duckbill wing for my car, so I'll be on the lookout for ur oncoming videos.

I have an 07 m45s and am thinking of getting the blue racelands for the g35 to throw on.Hows the rebound rate since our M's are heavier than the z's and G's. Do they handle bumps and potholes well? I'm currently on kybs and eibach springs which ride good buy nyc streets are horrible and need to be able to adjust ride height. Thx for any feedback and showing us G coilovers fit our M's!!
Whats up man so far they have been doing me good but I will say that when going over bumps you have to go really slow because it hits the sway bar the fast you go thru a bumper it hits the bottom so I do feel a little bounce from it if I am being honest

Be careful of the sump, it sit's pretty low lot's of M45 Owners crack the sump after lowering them
Yeah I noticed that if I'm not careful I hit my sway bar alot. But for the most part I don't really hit the front it's kinda more in the middle of the car hits the exhaust alot

It's oem painted gloss black
wait so what about the shocks in the back or does the rear coil-over cover that?

Yo bro I just bought some bc coilovers says it came out a 06+ m35/M45 would they fit a g37 sedan rwd?
@JSVlogs-ed4iy what's up and no g37 is different they have knuckles at the bottom vs forks likes ours on m45 and m35 except awd is different as well
Hey what's up I had a question for you did you do the bags on your 350Z and if you did do you suggest getting rid of the helper springs that are on the back on the cups
For most air suspension set ups that I have seen you have to remove the spring in the back because the bag goes there like the one from airlift. It would be the same for the m45 as well because it has the bucket. I don't know if you would have rubbing issues if you placed a strut and a bag in one in the rear it would have to be a skinner design

Yeah aslong as they have the forks at th3 bottom to mount up it will work
would lowering springs from a G35 be okay on the M35?
I'm sure it will but the spring rate may not be suitable for the car as the M is heavier it may bottom out more

Yes it would since they have forks at the bottom of the struts
