- Here is how I personally drive my slammed to the ground frs everywhere I go!! These are my tactics on how I do it. Other people may have other ways or preferences but this is what works best for me and my car. Hope you guys enjoyed me scraping away and stay tuned for the 25k giveaway!

Mad props for being that low. I just lowered my genesis on bc coils after putting a lot of thought to it and I love the looks and definitely agree you have to be much more cautious when driving. I scrape a lot everywhere now and I hope I can get used to it and master the car like you.

Try when going over speedbumps, get as angled as possible then turn into the bump letting the tire lift you up and over👍it helps me even when there's no room to angle front tire always hits first.
[I once went over a speedbump (those same yellow ones) and didn't scrape i went super extra like almost parallel to the bump haha😂 ]

Slammed cars look so good but man is it a headache driving sometimes. My gennie is slammed and moving on to the track stance now. Tires get expensive lol FRS lookin good tho bro!
Lowered my BRZ so it was only 2 inches off the ground...and I couldn't do it after just a couple weeks. I have RSR coilovers so I just raised it till I had about 3.5 inches of clearance and boy do those extra inches make a difference.
I honestly can't justify driving it so carefully when I can just raise it slightly and be able to drive it aggressively and the way I want to without any fears. Just my 2 cents, and I have mad respect for guys like you that can daily it.

I just got a brz and I’m watching this after going over a lame ass dip on the road that scuffed my front bumper. I was so hurt lol. But I just gotta get used to a lower car and really watch the road. But you did bring up a good point about how you can get used to going over the same roads and somewhat memorize them. 🙏v helpful
Today i got stuck on a speed bump😤. This has turned to an everyday thing. I would never ever lower my car that low its such a struggle and so much money to fix... anyway good day yall! :)
Yea I’m not going to lower my car to ground when I get one I just want to close the gap a little and I’m happy with that. Also no pops nor flames trying to make it a cool daily but low key at the same time. Prob change out the wheels and amp up the performance a little. I’m thinking of getting a decent VW gti if I can find one that’s cheap around where I live.

I drive these roads all the time and watching it through i can literally feel all the small dips and for some reason my heart drops. Its like having vietnam flashbacks 💀💀
Very nice video, what I usually do is take the whole street to get a huge angle and it doesn't scrap on speed bumps. Just need to make sure who is in front of you understands

have you measured how far from the floor the lowest part of your car is? if so how many inches? i drive a 370z w/ bc coilovers and extreme low as well and i only run into my exhaust hitting a lot but my exhaust sits 3 inches off the floor

hell yea lmao, my rx8 naturally pops and stuff say if im cruising in town and let off at 3k it just bopbopbopbops but most fun thing is shifting at redline and double clutching and blipping it a bit, usually get a huge pop if I've been driving a while. shits so funny lmao. cant wait to get a tune and be even more annoying 🤣🤣

Edit: my car pops when I downshift but it's not that exciting like yours
I think it just depends on how aggressive the burble tune is. On my 335is I can change how aggressive I want the pops to be on a mobile app.

As someone who recently started working on emissions for the car, how do you overcome being caught by police in Cali? Just got pulled over recently but got let off with a warning for the exhaust. Driving an S2K with a high flow cat and Greddy Supreme SP.
i have a high flow cat on an 8th gen SI running invidia headers and Q300 exhaust. I pass emissions as long as I flash my ecu back to stock. I haven't been pulled over for exhaust reasons. But in my previous car, a 2000 honda civic with a fart can, I have been pulled over numerous times because of exhaust noise. I feel it's just driving habits and whether or not an exhaust is overly loud or heavily modified. I feel that with your set-up that shouldn't be an issue. What was the cause of your stop?
Its a hit or miss with cops. For the most part they don't mess with you if you're obeying traffic laws and not driving crazy or loud on purpose. Avoid car meets or hot spots. Ive learned my lesson with that haha.

Those speed bumps you went over is nothing compared to the mean ass ones in the Cesars palace casino, Las Vegas . There speed bumps are high and long. If you take your FR-S there you’ll be stuck for sure
I’m in a new whip cause some asshole pulled out in front of me and my eclipse totaled out. Currently in a 15 civic si and it’s sitting like a monster truck lmao but my buttcheeks have never felt better from the stress of driving a low ass car anymore like literally I was constantly clenching whilst feeling my heart drop way too often. Can’t wait to drop this puppy soon though I’m just broke as hell

I have a 335is on bc racing coilovers. I’m not crazy low but I do still scrape on driveways and dips. All my friends don’t get why I would want to have a lowered car but honestly it just feels great to be low 😂 idk why.

thank you! and yes I believe they're good alternatives that are way cheaper than buying a full catback system online. I still use the same muffler delete I got years ago for this car.

@@chrisb5523 only one way to learn! i drove a beater automatic honda civic for a few years before deciding on getting an 8th gen SI. Learned right there when I bought the SI. Totally worth it, dont regret it one bit
