In which scenario would you always use a scheduled trigger over an instant trigger?

Yo TechflowAI, I really appreciate you for making this video, I’ve been surfing through RUclips but none of them has talked about the difference between Instant vs Schedule. I have a question, is there a workaround where watch new rows in Google sheet can be instant instead of schedule intervals? My goal is to build a scenario where when a person sign up through a form that automatically updates a Google sheet, they will get a pdf sent to their email, but it’s pretty stupid where I can’t make watch new rows in Google sheet as an instant function. I do not want the scenario to keep wasting operations when there’s no one joining the list…😢

      Yes, @onionthegamer.
You can solve that with Google Apps Script to fire a webhook on change.
We cover all of that including scripts within our Make Simplified Accelerator course. (makesimplified.com)
If you're familiar with code, you'll also be able to set it up yourself.
However - an easier workaround might be to directly send a Webhook to Make on Form submission.
What platform are you using for your forms?
Usually there is a webhook solution available.

In the Excel example - Would anyone be able to trigger an automation? Let's say my coworker updates the document but they don't have a Make account, would the automation still trigger?

Yes. Any manual update in that Google Sheet would trigger the automation.
