This is brilliant! The creating share link & deleting the documents are something I never thought about, just one question, why would you use search rows & create document from template here? I wonder if it will work the same if I use watch new rows for sheets & the simple create document module? Btw, I’ve tried a flow that skips the download the document module, google drive has this download a file module where u can immediately download the docs into a drive folder as a pdf!
Yes, it would also work if you use "Watch Rows" as trigger. Usually, we're working in bulk where a Search Rows module makes things easier OR we work instantly where we start with a Webhook anyway for real-time processing. I also prefer using "Search Rows" and updating a row once processed with a status column instead of using the "Watch New Rows" module. Why? Because then I can always re-run certain rows if needed by simply resetting the "Status" column value. Yes, you could skip the downloading of the document in Make. Often times you want to distribute the PDF to other locations or send it directly via Email though. That's why we download it to Make as you'll need it there anyways. If you don't need to send the PDF anywhere but simply want to add it to your Google Drive and maybe share a link, you can use your solution as well.
Nope.. The only limit you have are the operations of your Make plan. But at $10/month you get 10.000 operations already which gives you plenty of room to generate certificates already.
What kind of dynamic images are you going to create with this?
