  • This video contains two recent matches I had with the LV1 Baund Doc on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 650 cost raid with an incredible transformed mode that allows it to move in any direction, amazing melee output, boosting stuns while transformed and a low HP stat boost which nearly maxes out melee modifier. Its weaknesses would be its vulnerability in MS mode and its large size. I have gotten a little better with Baund Doc since my last video though I still haven't mastered it yet. The first match shouldn't have much latency but the second match I had to play on a mobile hotspot due to ongoing issues with my home internet, so you may notice some lag there. I hope that you enjoy watching!
The primary weapon of the Baund Doc is a beam rifle with 2600 power, 3.5 seconds cooldown, 80% heat, 13 seconds overheat time, 0.77 seconds swap time, 400m range and 20% stagger value. This fires from the left hand in MS mode so be careful. It is very useful to start combos into melee.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2500 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, 100/60/35% combo modifier, 100% side swing modifier and 130% downswing modifier. This has a pretty standard beam saber moveset other than being held in the left hand. Thanks to the side swing modifier and combo modifier this will do solid damage despite the modest power.
Its first sub weapon is an arm claw with 3000 power, 6 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, 100% side swing modifier, 160% downswing modifier and only one swing. The neutral and side swings knock down instantly but the true value in this is the high downswing power which can be used for burst damage.
Its second sub weapon is a diffusion mega particle cannon with 350x4x3 (900x8) power, 75% (95%) heat, 0.8 seconds cooldown, 23 seconds overheat time, 1 second swap time, 350m (400m) range and 16%x4x3 (10%x8) stagger value. The uncharged spread is pretty high so it can be unreliable for a stun that way unless you are close. The charged shot instant stuns though.
When transformed you keep the beam rifle from MS mode but gain two additional weapons. Its first sub weapon in transformed mode are leg claws with 3500 power, 3 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, normal combo modifier, 100% side swing modifier and 130% down swing modifier. This weapon is insanely good for its huge power and ability to combo into MS mode melee for gigantic damage. The downswing has low recovery as well so you can easily hit and run if needed.
It also gets an alternate version of the scattering megaparticle cannon while transformed that fires 2 bursts instead of 3, but can be fired while boosting in return. The charged shot is also a single beam. This is incredible for stunning while boosting.
The LV1 Baund Doc has 21000 HP, 16 ballistic resist and 28 beam/melee resist. This is pretty solid bulk overall though the low ballistic defence is definitely an issue when facing Char's Dijeh or Xeku Zwei. It also isn't that bulky considering how tall the MS mode is, so try to avoid taking damage as much as you can. It has LV1 Damage Control and LV2 Maneuver Armor in both modes, though no dodge roll until Psycho Wave activates.
It also has 135 (135) hover speed, 225 (240) boost speed, 80 thrust and 78 (66) turning speed. Mobility in MS mode is definitely good enough but the transformed mobility is really amazing. It shares the same controls as flying suits like Byarlant so you can easily abuse this 3D movement to flank enemies or otherwise gain the upper hand.
At 30% HP the skill LV1 Psycho Wave will activate which grants LV2 Emergency Evasion, +5 to hover/boosting speed, +15 to turning speed , -20% to thrust consumed and +50 melee modifier. This gives a pretty nice boost to mobility but the melee damage bonus is insane. Without any parts or upgraded considered this gives you 94 melee modifier, which pushes you over the edge to the point of being able to kill squishy generals like Ex-S or some raids in one combo.
Overall while I think that Baund Doc takes a lot of skill and practice to use effectively, when mastered it becomes overwhelmingly powerful. I think it is so powerful that it might even need nerfed. It has more stun resistance than Byarlant Custom, is smaller than Byarlant Custom, has more melee damage than Byarlant Custom and even has a boosting instant stagger. It can fly over the enemy team or take unorthodox routes to the enemy support to easily take them out. Even some generals aren't safe from it, like Ex-S Gundam. I think that it should get its Damage Control skill removed for 650 cost, but that might not even be enough. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
