- Since becoming a mom, i have seeewww much more fun with creating new projects for my baby! and the older she gets the more exciting it is to finish a project and see if it she likes it or not. Well, she really liked this little sensory toy so I wanted to share how I made it and perhaps you can make one for your baby too! It's seriously so simple. It took me less than an hour and very minimal supplies. Also, it is machine washable. I wash it with her baby clothes and hang to dry. Happy creating!

Your sensory bear is adorable, I would love to make one for my great grandson, but when I go to print your pattern, it is not centered on the computer paper (letter head style). I tried different techniques, but none work, can you help?
Hi Carol! I’m not sure I understand. I see it is not centered on the paper but you will cut the 2 pieces out of the paper anyway to trace onto your fabric. Hmm..
Awsom .can u pls gv link for that noise maker .
Thank you 😊 this is an affiliate link for the little rattles. amzn.to/3NLeYZm
Que beleza! 👏👏👏👏👏
Obrigado 🥰🥰
It would be nice to have a layer of the crinkly inside your bear head that is included in the stitch line when you sew around the head. More sound for the babe.
That’s a good idea. The crinklier the better 🤭
Can i substitute fabric cotton for felt or other fabric?
Certainly! I don’t see much with felt but I don’t see why you couldn’t sub.
I would have done the eyes before sticking two pieces of the head together.
I think that way is easier but when I stuff it sometimes I don’t end up liking the slight shift of the eye placement 😆
Did the shiny gold ribbon have wire inside the edges? If so I would question it use and substitute something else that is safer.
Yes! It was wired but I removed the wire before sewing it up. It just slips right out 🤗
Love this! What is the crinkle paper made of?
Thank you! I can describe it best as a thin but sturdy plastic sheet. Like a thicker cellophane almost. Makes for good crinkle sounds 🤭
Dumb question
I don't have a machine... can it still make this toy by hand sewing it?
Not a dumb question! You can make it by hand. It’ll just take more time of course. I’d use backstitching since it’s a strong sturdy stitch. And the smaller, the stronger & neater you can make your lines. Have fun!
Where is the description for the template?😊
Under the title it usually says “more” and that will bring down the description and it has a link you can click there! 🤓
I really enjoyed your video! You explain everything really well!
Thank you, Charlene! 🥰 love from Charleen 😂
