On these units, when the water hits the float, it kicks the pump on and only pumps about 1/4 inch out of the sump hole, does its 10 second delay then turns off. Does anyone know how to fix this issue, I can’t seem to figure out how I should adjust the float system to take more water. a pump should take more than a skim of water out.

what about the weed holes ? are they pre-drilled?

I installed it and right away it pumps but it stays beeping into the code saying check the main pump. It continues to beep until you physically press the reset button
Anybody know why?

the backup system sucks and will let you down when you need it most.

Don't waist your money, unless its installed in low basement because it will not pump water from a 8 ft ceiling basement. 10ft max head pressure. so anything more than 1 elbow, probably will mot work. backup pump is useless.
