there is a lot more variety right now which allows me to actually play my weird garbage decks that make me want to play the game. that said there are still a few outliers that i simply don't understand why they just don't ban them in the format. if wild is the step child and never expected to be balanced then nerfing outliers hurts who exactly? the derps who only play those decks?
Blizzard wants every card in the game to be playable in at least one format, so permabanning cards isn't a decision they want to make. Would be down to see Demon Seed banned even though it's not good, since that deters a lot of people from Wild.
@@porovaara thats straight up not true. Any wild exclusive card thats banned gets nerfed or reworked. Any current bans mean they are playable in other modes still
I am a recently returned player and I've been having a ton of fun in wild. Mostly playing reno decks and odyn warrior. The only issue I'm hating is pirate dh and rogue. Mana burn is a miserable card . Im a magic player so I dont really get the hate for counterspell and objection when dh can almost timewalk you while beating your face in. I also had a game where I played 5 board clears and still died to the charge pirate location + weapon that draws 3 cards essentially. Thanks for the videos been enjoying them.
I love this type of video i would even watch a 1 hour or more version where you go more in depth with your explanation of decks and current meta, favorable matchups etc
Opinion: If they kill off the seed quest, treasure distrubuter, reno lone ranger, gruff, change the dh pirate tokens to have rush instead of charge, and all mana reducing sourses to state "cannot be less than 1", and then take a few weeks after to micro adjust other cards, I think wild would be way more diverse and fun. Again, just an opinion.
I think its more diverse, I managed to play homebrews efficiently! Outliers could be toned. Or an actual Wild patch not caverns (please fix the Wild packs)
I'll take the opportunity to suggest a "off meta" decks section added to the report... Like put the remaining classes or some new experimental deck that is just "fun" cause a new interaction from past is now playable with a new card? Im just gonna stop writing...You know what im saying :D
The rare times that wild is in a good spot are always a lot of fun. It's felt few and far between, but man it's a nice time when that happens. Yes, there's some degenerate stuff, but it's significantly less frustrating compared to how things used to be. Always nice when there's a patch of sunshine between things being cloudy. If only this could be the standard. Well, here's hoping it is going forward
I'm having fun. I've been able to playing a variety of decks, romath mage, even warlock, spell demon hunter, big demon hunter, odd demon hunter, otk demon hunter, and it's been nice!
shoutout secret passage. considering wild rogue crumbled after it's nerf, it's safe to say the 1 mana draw 5 unnerfed version is the strongest card that has ever been in this game. so glad it's gone, wild feels so much better in ways i didn't even imagine without it.
Marshie puts out positive message: Chat response universally notes what is still wrong with the format. We’re all just trying to do the best we can with what we have LOL
Hey Martian, I love your content, you are the best Wild Hearthstone streamer! Also, the meta SUCKS, Demon Seed, Pirate abusers, and Combo players RUIN the format with their obnoxious brainrot decks!!!11 Also, will you heart this comment?
It's still frustrating to me. When I play aggro I queue into Reno and control opponents and when I play a Reno deck I queue into aggro and questline Warlock. I like playing against questline warlock never.
I've still been having fun in wild. Certainly wouldn't mind seeing some changes be it nerfs or buffs, but I agree with your points on the meta having variety and feekibg decent for the most part. As usual great video!
I just hate that going a slow control deck is impossible if your opponent has a combo OTK deck, I just want to live to turn 8 without being forced to Dirty Rat/ Theotar their combo piece.
These decks look really cool Marshie and I'm very close to just crafting some of them. Standard sucks at the moment and this just looks super fun on the other hand D:
Front page stats are misleading. A deck can be the best in the game, but if theres another deck in that class thats popular and not as good it will drag the class winrate down. Demon Hunter has three popular decks and theyre all great, so the class looks amazing on the front page. Spell Damage Druid is ridiculously good, but Mill Druid, Charge Druid, Reno Druid and Tog Druid are all popular and worse, so even though Spell Damage Druid is better than Pirate Demon Hunter the class looks worse on the front page. So yeah, we factor winrate (I assume you mean hsreplay winrate, we also look at other things like hsguru).
I'm having a ton of fun in wild rn, I climbed to diamond 5 with homebrew decks ( Questline Shaman, Porcupine/Shockspitter Hunter, Hydration control Druid ). Sure sometimes I die turn 3/4 to pirates DH/Priest but overall 8/10 experience.
It sucks, so players are playing it less, so I see it less, so Im happy. Before people realized its bad I was seeing it like every other game and I would. It have made this video 🤣
Honestly I forgor, I wish I had. I thought about putting a little note there when I was editing but it would have been a paragraph and wasnt actually super necessary so I didnt. Demonseed loses to almost everything other than Reno decks, and the Reno/Renathal archetype is very frustrating for a lot of players. Whats nice about the Demon Seed existing is it lets players who are sick of their opponent playing a giant pile of low synergy tech nonsense, they can swap to Demonseed and enjoy never losing to it for a bit.
If you're playing wild for the meta, you're doing it wrong. Play wild for wild shit, combos not possible before, best wild meme deck, wild broken synergies.
Honestly been having a good time playing wild. Pirates are still what I consider the most obnoxious, along with Questline warlock. Other than that it feels very diverse and enjoyable. I’ve even been able to bring out Even Highlander Cubelock again!
the wild meta is so diverse rn. so glad i dont have to play against even shaman bots all the time anymore
The average 2023 wild experience. It was so miserable
Wild feels much better than standard
For sure
Standard is all rainbow dk and big spell mage

Yeah then the derps stop playing the game which is great...or even better they stay and play random stuff
Blizzard wants every card in the game to be playable in at least one format, so permabanning cards isn't a decision they want to make. Would be down to see Demon Seed banned even though it's not good, since that deters a lot of people from Wild.
@@Random-person-on-the-internet there are cards banned in wild that are not banned elsewhere. they could easily ban some more,

Now. The way to fix Ice Block is, unequivocally, to first get it to be a card that costs a fair amount of mana, then [...]
I like the meta, a lot of classes are very playable

I'm really enjoying playing many different decks right now in wild and standard. I think the meta in both is pretty great
No amalgam hunter?
yippee marshie discussion piece im eating that up
Minus seed warlock, I think Wild is pretty fun at the moment!

Now all we need is 23234545 nerf to the lock quest , and some way to nerf miracle druids that kill u on turn 4-5 from hand
aside from being impossible to play control, 6 of my 8 games were vs questlock. guess things are great i guess if you want to run aggro or combo
I just hate that going a slow control deck is impossible if your opponent has a combo OTK deck, I just want to live to turn 8 without being forced to Dirty Rat/ Theotar their combo piece.
Good ol' Lion Hunter
Reno will only get better and better as the card pool increases. Highlander should be it's own mode separate from constructed decks.
you forgot line cook warrior
I have 5 versions of battlecry shaman that are fun as hell
Another riveting Wild meta of Chumbostone
These decks look really cool Marshie and I'm very close to just crafting some of them. Standard sucks at the moment and this just looks super fun on the other hand D:
I think it's more balanced than standard right now so for me it's good
Gotta love wild, just got 31 legend in 5 days of playing with 1 of your decks❤😂
Do you factor wr when choose where to place a deck? Dh has a 60% win rate in wild, so how come did you placed it 4th?

i think itd b perfect if we removed seedlock n bs druid but i understand why theyre there
no death knight i guess
You are a reference as always, keep it up
greetings fellow h̶u̶m̶a̶n̶ martian!
Yeah, 100% wild is better than before
Have been playing a lot of funny decks to moderate success
I died on turn 4 6 times in a row, because of pirate DH, pirate rogue and shadow priest (with pirates)
I HATE pirates
I agree
But honestly, the reno warrior list sucks
Its nice I just would like for them to nerf charge druid. That deck is just ridiculous
Yeah turn 4 otk is not fun at all.
over 5000 cards and 200 or less are relevant, and that is being generous lol. god i regret the amount of money i put in this dumpster fire.
Marshie, with the chinese community returning so has bot development, expect to see ALOT more pirate DH bots
I hate Reno decks.
What about the Charge druid deck where you get killed on as early as turn 4/5?
It sucks, so players are playing it less, so I see it less, so Im happy. Before people realized its bad I was seeing it like every other game and I would. It have made this video 🤣

@MartianBuu I agree but the point of demonseed being so easy to complete by 5-6 with only like 6 cards is annoying, otherwise it's ok
@@MartianBuu That's EXACTLY why I play it. I am sick of renathal in general

NO no it is not ... pirates pirates pirates, seed seed seed and druid turn 4 win ...
Algorithm
as a person who literally quit because of the redetection to caring about wild. no the meta sucks.
Only that hostage mage deck ruins wild rn. None of the aggro decks feel overwhelming. With decent board clears you can reach late game.
Would also go after charge druid cause 120 dmg turn 3 or 4 if they draw well enough is not really fun to face either
Standard = mage
