They've been pretty consistent on Metamorphosis counting as a demon. The obvious ones are Wrathspike Brute and Kanrethad Prime, but weirder ones like Felscale Evoker, Metamorfin, and even the boy Irebound Brute (an ogre DH in meta) all properly count. Kurtrus is the only odd man out. It must be for balance reasons.
It’s actually so sad there aren’t more bad cards like all fell breaks loose that would make this deck worse but way funnier with kil’jaeden
