I wonder if you play 2 Kil'Jaeden in the same game : does the deck's portal draws 2 demons per turn? Or just it gets a body on board with no effect (for there's already a portal...) Cheers from France!
@@Ghostface4k The deck size of the infinite deck is 30, and will refresh to 30 on every draw, as can be seen with Fanottem, Lord of the Opera. When you play Kil'jaeden with Fanottem, Lord of the Opera in your hand, his mana cost will immediately reset to 30, and when you draw it will become 29 for a split second before reverting to 30 again.
Elemental shaman without the new expansion is way stronger than that. There's no excuse for it to be weaker having access to more cards. My guess is that the shaman misplayed on purpose in order to allow Kil'Jaeden to be showcased.
@@adsadasadsaasd4513 It's theorycrafting, where there is a rule in place that you must have a certain amount of cards from the new expansion in your deck. Sure, you could probably take a tier 1 deck, replace just enough cards to make the deck legal while still keeping it competetive, but is that really what you want to do during your limited pre-access? I think trying out entirely new deck ideas even if they on paper seem like "disneyland", as Rarran would say, is totally the right move.
It's really cool but as a mill deck enjoyer, I'm concerned some people will be straight up immune to mill But well, Warlock mill will be a thing I suppose

Mill deck shove all your cards in your hand. If you can't find a way to somehow interact with the game, this is on you. Build a better deck, or play it better
@@DahnsHeart My most common decks this expansion have been Well Rogue, Questline Mage, Reno Hunter and Questline DH. Mill is particularly uninteractive because it does not care about anything happening on the board outside of forcing the opponent to draw 2 cards extra when they play anything remotely threatening (or even when I just play a 3-drop, from what I've seen), the only wincon in the deck being "Dump my hand and hope the other player doesn't unga bunga past my armor". It is EXTREMELY boring and monotonous to play against with little to no differences between each game against the deck as they all run the same lists without any real tech cards and a skill floor and ceiling so close to one-another that it might as well be called a skill sandwich instead.
And now we'll never know if playing another Kil'Jaeden will give the demons in your deck +4 +4
It does stack. They showed it in the Day 9 vs Mark showcase video.

it's because your deck becomes "infinite" and ANY draw will give a demon since that's all the portal can give

it will work, Jailer will blast the demons in the portal and the portal will instantly refresh itself to 30 demons.

It's a nuetral card it can be played in any deck
Kil'Jaeden will be one of the first cards they have to nerf way too strong.

That's what the deck does I think. Roffle demonstrated a couple days ago and the elemental + rock synergy felt awful 😔
