I have the same SKXMODS kit with a green dial GM! I love it and wear it everywhere that I won't take a mechanical watch. Music shows (concerts), Shooting range, dirty chores, etc the Casioak tags along and I do truly enjoy it as a "beater" watch, but with style. I wear it most on the black FKM rubber (same brushed case with black bezel) and swapped to the pin buckle as the deployment feels pretty flimsy/cheap.

Great Video, yes, once the orange bushings are removed, the module easily pushes right out, thank you for that. This video is the only GM-2100 metal modding instructional video that I have found. I have 2 GM-2100s, 2 GA-2100s, 2GA-B2100s, and 1 GM-B2100 Full Metal. I have modded 5 of them now and I have used both the CASIOAK Mod brand and the SKXMOD brand. Subjectively, I prefer SKXMOD for the finishing on the case and band, vertical texturing or brushing. Looks really nice. I did have issues with CASIOAK kit with over tightened screws in band. Had to be very careful with removal and reinstalling after sizing the band. Also the SKXMOD kit has real watch screwdrivers, instead of toy screwdrivers, and a nice lens protector. Very complete kit. Used a Torx T5 screwdriver to remove the GM-2100 screws in case. Fit is perfect. Really love the SKXMOD kit. If you're buying any of the variations of the 2100s, in my opinion they are not Casio homages to the AP Royal Oak. The closest would be the Casio Edifice EQB-1100YDC-1AJF. A stunning, beautiful watch, octagon bezel, Bluetooth connection with Edifice app. 0 problems with connecting. Sapphire, and a charcoal IP coating. Solid links in band. Case and band finishing is on par with my G-steel's and Oceanus'. If it had a Japan Indigo dial it could easily pass a for Oceanus. Also the Edifice EFSS570D-1, A very nice watch but under-minded by a cheaper quality hollow or folded link band, and CASIO Edifice Sapphire Glass EFR-S108D-1AVUEF, also hollow links. All are octagon bezels.Go to the SKXMOD site for all specs on which cases fit which Casio 2100s. There are definitely differences, but they do a great job at description and specs.
I don't like the fake crown. Otherwise it came out looking very nice. The real Casioak still comes with a steel case, screwdown caseback and is solar powered with Bluetooth connectivity. And now they're going for about $425 bucks. This kit is no longer the bargain it once was. Excellent video though. Thank you for making it.
Im briefly visiting Seiko. Bought 5 of these 💩s in 3 days. Almost hooked. 4 metal and the "Gamer" edition. Metal/tan,metal/green,black metal on black nylon,and stainless/black resin. These are a welcome break from my "Big Seiko"(221g) which I daily.
GA-2100 watches are on for the equivalent of $64USD here this weekend. I'm tempted to get a number of them. I have the virtual world and an off-white pinkish one with rose gold accents. I'm tempted to get the red you have and a smoky blue. They have all black, all white, all pink, and light green ones. They don't have any of the Bluetooth ones, and the metal one is the equivalent of $475usd which I'm not doing. But at $64 that's cheap tonuse to mod or just to mix up looks with outfits.

It looks like the FKM rubber strap is a harder fit on a smaller wrist, because the staring angle is the same as the angle on the case, and then is starts bending after, while the metal bracelet can break the angle of the case right away, am I right? Can I pull this FKM strap with my 6,75 inch (17cm) wrist or should I only buy the metal bracelet? Also would like to ask your opinion on what case should I go for my green dial GM. I am thinking all silver.

Good video but please raise the volume of your audio next time. I had to put my volume all the way to max and then boost it with additional software. FYI I am on a laptop and not a phone.

Hi it doesen't work, the strap for the original one has a straight edge, where this one has trims for the twin end lugs. But i think there are straps on aliexpress similar to this one specifically tailored for the original case

I have modded 5 2100s, and yes, I wish there were an option for non-crown for the GM-2100, but when comparing both Casio Mod brand and SKX Mod brand side by side, I prefer the SKX Mod. There is a Vertical texturing or brushing that the Casio Mod brand doesn't have, that I like very much. Purely subjective on my part.

Just a heads up you're violating AP's trade dress with that bezel. There have been some issues with copyright strikes on RUclips over trademark or trade dress violations unfortunately so just be mindful of that. Cheers.
I recently bought the GA2100srs and after a week it put the time back an hour so at the moment I've got it set to Paris time, does anyone know why it has done this and I think these kits are amazing I've just had a look and there is a rainbow marker kit, I don't know why they wouldn't have added that into the srs anyway.

I added one of the metal CassiOaks to my collection recently, and was extremely disappointed. I wound up giving it away to a friends kid. I can’t see this thing being any more than a child’s watch. The display is hard to read. There’s no contrast between the hands and the dial is terrible and the light is barely functional all in all it’s a piece of $hit.

Nope, since the module itself is incased in the carbon core guard which is water proof itself. I've swam and showered with mine works flawlessly.
