Sorry..maybe this is a stupid question…May I know what is the metal plate on the throttle handle for?
When you twist the throttle it also move with the handle.(kind of linking to the throttle itself)

Hey, not a stupid question. It's a manual throttle lock that can be pushed down to maintain a steady cruising speed at highways. amzn.to/3RBbBGF
