Is auto cue he has in his hand and headphones
earphone monitor adjustment so he can hear what he sounds like. Plus someones mobile phone he took off them - he gave it back a few songs later :).

I must be missing something, as I find this woeful interpretation of a classic pop song to be entirely without merit.
