Are you referring to her being able to not only keep her composure but flawlessly harmonize with Boy like a boss when singing with him? Everyone knows the original version; however when the author, owner, and singer of the original song comes out personally to do an impromptu duet, that is a hell of a compliment. Furthermore Boy George didn't complain or have animosity, he actually found it different and refreshing.
I am sure Boy George will do some good things for such a talented young lady/musician.
By the way: to ruffle some feathers please check out The Cardigans cover of Black Sabbath' "Iron Man". Quite, quite different yet they made in their way.
Unfortunately it's not exactly impromptu, everything on The Voice is scripted and practiced
Also if you heard George, for years they played around with the song style in different styles including blues but couldn't get, but this artist figured it out and George himself go down there and tried it out himself in duet and understand the blues composition he was looking for.

After all hes been through with drugs and stuff his voice has really endured but his 80s vocals are style unique in their own right, and it was more distinctive back then. I miss his higher range in the early 90s but its fine

His voice is great unlike some artists their voice is shot. Just look at Vince Neil of Motley and Axl rose. He definitely kept training his voice throughout the years

Her version matches the words, when you really listen! The original is a bouncy, fun tune, but with lyrics about George's heart getting broken.

Music is and will always be eternal, the old will always be re-made by the new. It isn't always as beautiful as this was, but all the bad changes makes moments like this stand out like stars in the sky.

I liked it better than the original, because it has a bluesy sound to it, the original was sort of hokey in my opinion, but the 70s were great. Wow that's an old song.
I noticed that when he was talking about how she sang it looked like he was holding back tears. Could tell he loved it and was impressed.
I love the fact that they're actually hugging again. I missed seeing that kind of affection and appreciation.

Kelly helps her make her decision, and George take in the moment be brave NO BAD DECISIONS. I tell my kids that same thing. TAKE IN THE MOMENT! Do what makes you happy, who cares what other people think, they don’t pay your bills. Be happy life’s to short.

She is by far the most musical of any of the contestants I've heard. She'll probably end up as a jazz singer.
Those high notes were pitch perfect. As she got louder she kept on key. Amazing. She's probably the best singer in that room and it's surprising Kelly didn't recognize greatness since she's best friends with Beyonce.

Wow.... Just... wow... Literally brought tears to my eyes. I was an 80's child, and Culture Club/Boy George was a large part of the music in my world back then. Still a fan of their music even now. And hearing that song performed in such a soulful manner just about took my breath away. Amazing....
I just fell in love. Oh my goodness, her heart, freedom, authenticity, husky yet clear voice, mastery of voice, simplicity, deep love and openness to people. I don't like blonds, never dated an Australian, but I have never felt my heart flutter since my first wife died after 12 years of being together. My heart has been closed since 2002. I mean completely closed. Wow. She just opened it in one song.
My first wife was an absolute genius pianist composer vocalist who played her piano and sang all over the world after Musashino Music and Juliard Academy. In one song, she went from classic, jazz, blues, chanson and tango.
I never thought I'll come across a genius like her again. Wow.

I was a huge fan of Culture Club and Boy George when I was a teenager. I think I would have recognized it earlier than Boy, but this is a mindblowing version! One of my favorite performances from The Voice (all over the world)! Love it!
