  • I try to restore the very neglected paint on my 73 Cougar. First I wet sand the whole car then use my new Harbor Freight polisher to bring it back.

When I was a kid my Grandpa had a BEAUTIFUL '75 XR-7, white vinyl top on gorgeous black, Magnums, white interior, and a 400. He sold it to my Auntie in around 1997 and unfortunately it was written off not long after. Anyway, great channel! Found ya through @DD Speed Shop. Cheers from Alberta, Canada!

Love these Cougars... Have been watching your videos all the way through. Are you selling the car? I would be interested.

Actually sold the car already to buy a 1972 Maverick project. I'll be making videos on that soon.

Looks great, how long did the process take to do the entire car, and will you polish the glass?

It took about an hour and a half to wet sand and probably a total of 4 hours spread out over a couple days. I did 2 rounds of polishing and one final hand wax.

Green on a cougar is so wrong sorry. I hate green that cougar came in medium turquoise and it was sharp.

I don’t disagree lol, not a fan of green. They look great in red also.
