I don't understand why this channel doesn't have 100s of thousands of subscribers. For this type of channel, it by far and away, the best. No acting, no long, pointless 'sound demos', just the stuff we want to see,..cool guitars. Plus, a cool host with a cool cast of side characters. It is SO refreshing to watch guitar content and not be berated with an abnoxious host who deems it necessary to put on an act or character for the entire video. With these guys/Alex, what you see is what you get. As the great people of Gibson once famously said, thank you for being 'authentic'. If I could, I'd give you guys 3 thumbs up. But I only have 2. ...on a side note, thanks for showing a leftie. I'm not one of the people that harrass you and tell you to buy more lefties. I'\m not going to do that because I live in another country and won't tell you something that makes no sense for me to buy and have shipped. But I am a lefie who likes seeing cool lefthanded guitars out in the wild.
Yeah, plus honest opinions on guitars. Too bad not many guitar show in NY/NJ. Seems like everywhere else :( History channel should dump Pawn Stars and pickup this show :)
That Music Master caught my eye when you showed the dealer sticker on the back of the headstock. I initially thought there is no way that said Schneider Music Rapid City, SD! I paused it and sure enough. I grew up in Rapid and Schneider Music was my main hangout when I started playing guitar. This would have been in the late 80's. At that time, Roger Schneider was the family owner and the salesman and repair guy was Ted Bonde. Great people! It was sad to see the shop close. Very cool. Small world. And Parker!
The best part of coming home after a long week of work is getting to kick back and watch these videos. I've been dying to know what the intro song is though 😂 you guys always have the best and most chill intro and ambient lofi throughout
Would love to hear more about how you started out. How did you get into dealing guitars? Did you start out as a full time musician and this became a side-hustle. Did you always want to own a guitar shop? Was your family in the business. You have to have a pretty good budget to travel to some of the places you have gone to out of the country to buy and sell. Tell us your story, sounds very interesting.
We did a video on "A Day in the Life" a while back that chronicles some of it! Long story short, I did not have family in the business or anything. Just started with selling off some things I wasn't using anymore, and slowly grew the inventory from 1 guitar to a handful, and 8 years later we're here. The goal has always been to have this be flexible so I can play and record music whenever the opportunity arises without a job in the way. Definitely didn't start with the budget to travel as much as we do now.
Glad you had a good time in our fair Metroplex. I’ve been a fan for multiple years and really wish I’d made it out to say hello. Quick no question, when it comes to guitars like the Sherwood Green Strat, once you finally own it, is it hard to sell / let go of it? Seriously. I’ve bought and sold 30 to 40 guitars, since college (the last 39 years), and It still bums me out that I let a few of them go.
@@bldallas always a great time in Dallas! While it’s quite tempting to hold stuff back for my collection (and I do sometimes) we’ve sold so many at this point I’m a bit desensitized so it’s always expected they’ll find their way to a new home
The theme of today's video: Green. Hehe. I gotta admit that crazy green SG is something. I agree I would normally not like that color but somehow, it suits that SG well.
Love the Sherwood's, be nice to see the new 12-string Tele or Strat in that color. Missing the King of Mesquite (PRCA Bull Rider of the Year, Donny Gay). Great stuff, Alex. Continued good luck 👍.
@a flash flood of gear..No you tease!..lol..I wanna see all the guitars you got in the trade!...question: what guitars do the Japanese consider the best made in Japan guitars?

7k USD? Gibson is brand I just cannot care for anymore....for a color and literally zero extra mfg expense? Consumers are their own worst enemy. Gibson just types a cost...and you pay it. Dummies. Heavy, uncomfortably sharp edged overpriced. Don't forget their " Play Authentic" insult. The guitars are mostly shit...it's the artists that make the glory. Don't ever confuse talent with Gibson.
Thanks again for taking us all along! My birthday is Oct 19 and I'm going to try and make a birthday trip to this show next year. Peace
This show was awesome, my first guitar show because of this channel. Love the 2 pedals I bought from you guys!
@@alexgregoriou776 Thank you so much! We appreciate you watching and hope you’re enjoying your pedals!!

You’ve got the right attitude, Sir! Really dug the Sherwood Green Tele!
Hope you had a good time in Dallas area. Love the vids dude!
@@McGiblet69 thank you!!!
Absolutely love Sherwood green. Just saw a cool custom shop Jaguar with a painted headstock pop up, sold the day I saw it.
I think the lineup of the Tele reissues were really cool. I think there was a blue one with rosewood fretboard looking very cool!
Nice as always enjoy good guitar shows you guys are top shelf dealers!!
Looking forward to this one. I was set to go but had a job run long so couldn't make it.
Happens to the best of us!

The Gibson Les Paul R9 @16:56, beautiful flame and color!!!
What a fun Guitar Show vlog! I love the Diablo Guitar booth, some crazy guitars!
Fun fact: Parker's previous job was guitarist for Queenryche.

See you there!!
Respect to learning Better Lovers
Alex, I think you should do a video of your private guitar collection 🤟🤟🤟
That les Paul with Brazilian rosewood looked great.
Absolutely!!
The sherwood green is BADASS
In the 1980's, I used to have an office in the bottom of the clock tower in the background at 8:25. 😀
Love your show videos...Looks like it was an amazing show!!
@@voyager7 thank you so much!! Definitely a good one
Buddy of mine Joe Cutthroat was there from Robot Monster Guitars. Would be cool to feature their booth next time if you could.
Really liked that blue jackson firebird at parkers booth
Alex. Great meeting you but video made me start doing situps!!!

Ah that lefty Orville is awesome! Keeping my eyes peeled on the site
Looks my old green 62 reissue tele,I had the fingerboard shaved level
Diablo has cool guitars and Parker is a great player 🤘
Check out Thunder Road Guitars from Seattle, WA. I see their booth in your videos often when you’re at shows. They are great!
Love the white Les Paul special ,,mi saw the back of Dan Armstrong , wonder how much that was
Coming to the Vegas guitar show?
Am I the only one who thought it was all guitars made from mesquite wood?
Hey Alex, great video. What gives you the greatest buzz?...buying or selling?
Both are good! Super cool to link someone up with the perfect instrument, but its also great to find cool stuff!
I'm looking forward to seeing that lefty Orville Les Paul on your website. Let's Make a Deal!!
Wait, were there two lime green burst, custom SG’s?
The lime green sg custom 😊
@a flash flood of gear..No you tease!..lol..I wanna see all the guitars you got in the trade!...question: what guitars do the Japanese consider the best made in Japan guitars?
i live in mesquite
🔥
sg in dime slime!
Think that tele is Ocean Turquoise.
15 minutes?
Or 50 minutes?
(It is 50 to 60 minutes away.)
I think the olive drab is only good-looking in matte.
That went by way to quickly. Need more and longer videos!!

@@aflashfloodofgear I’ve already watched all of them. Some multiple times 😂🤣. I’m a drummer who barely plays guitar but it’s rad to watch!
whoever in the gibson that think reverse v is a good idea need his/their brain check
are you going to buy a guitar made of mesquite
Didn't happen this time!
Did you make any money? everyone broke or just sight seeing?
Not much real vintage (50's-60's) stuff.....???? this show is more like the NAMM show.
