The 1st amendment, freedom of the press, exists for all people to observe actions of our goverment and report to everyone so that corruption and tyrants can be rooted out. If tyrants can hide their actions, they can hide their corruption. There is no excuse to prevent transparency and accountability.

People have a right to complain about cameras when they are being used illegally by criminals, such as in the post office, in violation of the federal regulations. I have worked in many federal buildings where you cannot even bring in a cellphone, let alone a camera, and will be instantly arrested if you try. So, no; they are not literally in the hands of everyone. It would be interesting if the US Postal Service were to enact a regulation that requires search and confiscation of cellphones and cameras at the door. They're already authorized to search your containers brought on the property, other than actual mail for deposit. Poster 7 even says as much.

He was saying that everyone has cameras today by the way, and it's not illegal to record in an USPS post office Poster 7 clearly gives us the right to. I don't know what federal entity you work at but if they demand no recording in their policies with out a code to back it up isn't valid, and even if their was a code/law that stated you couldn't record in a federal building would be unconstitutional. The Supreme Court has already ruled on this, that we have the right to take pictures and record anything you can see in any public setting or building. So, it's not a violation to record in a federal/public building so long as you remain in the public ares and don't enter any no access areas. And the 1st Amendment is in everybodys rights or hands as you say. Do you not support 1st Amendment auditors?

Best Post Office ever, been coming here for 30 years…. 2.5 stars says a lot about what a person considers the “best”. Hey Press, when a Supervisor starts giving you lip then hides in the back, tell them to read up on Poster 7 while they are back there because there is supposed to be one per U.S. Postal Inspection Service guidelines. That will frost their niblets!!!

When I grew up in the 90’s. It was always a running joke about DMV workers knowing some people there are in a bind and treating public like crap. We all had to take it. I left the DMV several times angry at their attitude and mistakes. The post office used to be full of veterans so they worked hard deserved a union. Now even veterans abuse the system at the post office. They are forced to hire non union contractors to fulfill the obligation and lose billions a year on their out dated business model. Love the vids.
