I have so many of these kits but I just dont have the creativity anymore to come up with anything interesting but this gave me really good ideas on how to use the parts in different ways I wasnt thinking about.
Im really rocking how this looks like the Macross Destroid Defender! Im currently thinking about kitbashing the recent HG Demi Trainer with 30MM Gatling and Tank units to create a mock- Destroid Cheyenne, design is really epic! Do you have any recommendations or tips for the custom?
Have you considered the Zowort Heavy? Its silhouette is closer to the Cheyenne. Although the head is not a match. But the Alto Flight Type's head might be a good analog. The challenge is looking for missile pods that match. If you're not too picky, check out Option Parts Set 2, there are 6-tube box shaped missile pods.
You should check out Aries Tabletop channel. I think my customs would be compatible with their ruleset. Tell them I sent you. ruclips.net/user/AriesTabletopModels
I can say that not only Metal Gear Rex, but Battletech, macross and Gundam all mixed together in my nightmares and wouldn't leave me alone until I gave it a body to possess.

Great Color scheme especially the Camo pattern. Just curious, which paints did you use for this project?
I used mainly citadel. Primed in grey seer, big coat of contrast creed camo, streaks of black, streaks of nurgling green, then some off-white dots.
