      You can choose a senior citizen plan offered by every insurance company. But at this entry age it might be a costly choice.
      I want to mention here that Govt has launched "Health Insurance for all Above 70 yrs age" under Ayushman Bharat PM JAY scheme. Which will Insure senior citizens above 70 age for 5 Lakh Rs. With no socio-economic criteria.
      Detailed video about that scheme is coming next week , Stay Tuned for more specific details ! 🙏🙏

    In ICICI Elevate plan,
    1. Did unlimited restoration of SI activate only after after complete exhaustion of SI or both for Complete and partial exhaustion of SI? (Not clearly mentioned in policy wordings)
    2. For road ambulance, why is it mentioned "transfer the Insured Person to the nearest Hospital"? will they not pay ambulance charges if a person admitted in a hospital which not nearest to him?
    3. Please explain the following point mention in Claim Protector add-on: "Any Sum Insured accrued under Guaranteed Cumulative Bonus/Inflation Protector/Reset benefit will not be available for Claim Protector Cover".

    • @insuranceimpact
      @insuranceimpact  3 месяца назад +1

      1. Not clearly mention but point 3 in reset benefit states that when "Annual sum Insured or any accrued sum insured is insufficient for the policyholder" means if partially utilized and if needed Reset sum insured can be used.
      2. Nearest Hospital is mentioned for emergency care , but you can shift patient for better treatment to other hospital too.
      3.Policyholder can use only base sum insured for Non-medical items. If claim is paid using accrued sum insured other than Basic Sum Insured as mentioned, Consumables expenses are not payable.
