Adding some point as per my 8 year exp in Health Industry
I suggest to my customer when ever they don't feel good better to take One OPD from Govt Hospital ( In Rajasthan its free of cost) , whether you are not taking that treatment medicine which is free of cost by Govt but for documentation it worked very well .
Don't try to hospitalize directly in emergency for seasonable disease at least , take OPD any network hospital near to them that fee not more than 200 rs generally to avoid big amount claim
Client mostly take medicine to unauthentic ( Farzi) Dr or take medicine from direct to shop but they don't follow the steps .
At the end of day claim are settled basis on documentation not to emotional basis .
Follow these steps regularly my accuracy to approve customer claim has gone 95% in last 5years .

Just a thought - If you are young, fit and have a source of income, then create an sip of 30,000 rupees per year instead of buying health insurance. Assuming you don't get any diseases from hereditary, you won't need major health surgery until your late 30's or 40's. Even if a sudden expense from road accident happens, you have your health insurance from job. In 10 - 20 years of time, those sips can generate good sum of money which you can use without any problem. This seems better than getting your claim rejected and running after consumer court.

Care Health Insurance Last Month rejected my claim. My Son was admited in emergency for high fever and typhoid however they rejected spying that it can be treated in OPD. I am now looking to switch.

My experience wirh Policy bazaar for claim settlemennt is worst ... pls dont suggest policy bazaar to anyone. Policy bazaar is for those who have full time to follow up with till free numbers at the time of claim settlements and who need cheaper policy with lots of headache .... I have mediclaim of aditya birla and have claimed 2 or 3 times, they are always ready to reject claims if you are not aware ....
All those who were claiming to have availed cashless facility from Navi health insurance should definitely try lottery ticket, Also, there are high chances that you might win.👍🏽

It varies from executive to executive. I took all info from them before proceeding for a health insurance for my parents. But yeah, some executives push more for sales than sharing knowledge. In that case, tell them that unless and until I don't get the full info & knowledge, I am not proceeding ahead.

Yes Star health insurance ne mera claim settle nahi kiya. Star health ke agent ka alag view, local area me jo company hai unke employees ka different openion and main chennai office ka different openion. Claim cashless na dene par reimbursement ke liye hospital ka chhakar lagwaya aur last me 1 bakwas reason k liye reimbursement bhi mana kar diya. Aur jab maine apne original bill wapas maanga to 2.5 months tak pareshan kiya. Worst health insurance
Please approach IRDAI & the ombudsman. Both of them have helped thousands of policy holders in claim settlement.
I have a situation where I purchased a policy in June2020 & I didn't disclose a PED which was first detected in 2018. Had a hospitalization for same disease & claim got rejected last year. I will complete 4years now with same policy, do I need to disclose this disease now during renewal & if I do, would it be considered a new disease & a fresh waiting period of 4 years OR would I get all coverage after renewal?
I think the PED period will have to be served. But it's always better to connect with the insurance company directly over call or through mail.

Although health care facilities are better in Western countries the waiting period for an appointment is sometimes 2-3 months. & regarding free healthcare I highly doubt its free. The hospital bills are mostly backed by health insurance even OPD since most of them have health insurance.
