We clearly need more prisons for these morons who risk other peoples lives on public roads. How many times have people been advised not to drink and drive or use their mobile phones whilst at the wheel?
because the roadside breath test is a preliminary test to determine grounds for which the driver is suspected of driving whilst under the influence of alcohol, therefore not guilty until secondary test is administered, and is then charged.

The vast majority of people are capable of social drinking and fo not drive when they have had a skinful. Most prople do not assault others after the odd drink. Clearly the legal consequences need to be more severe for people who simply can't behave themselves.
@@andrewgage6942 In some countries it is. Some people seem to think you are 'allowed' to drink and drive up to the legal limit, this is most definitely not the case, the police quite rightly discourage any drinking and driving. The '35 limit' is merely when you can be prosecuted for drinking and driving, you can still be done for dangerous driving or driving without due care.

The penalty for drink driving should be a jail sentence and a permanent ban.
You think a permanent ban would stop somebody from driving if they’re willing to drink drive before the ban?
