Kayaking the North Branch Root River - Chatfield, MN - Parsley Bridge to Moen’s Bridge - May 2023

Put-in at Parsley Bridge in Chatfield, MN. The put-in is a dedicated access point with a paved parking lot, great trail to the river, and restrooms. Take-out at Moen’s Bridge also has plenty of gravel parking, a porta-potty, and a path to the river. The river level was 8.73’ and was absolutely excellent. None of us ever scraped a single time. There were also no obstructions in the river and the whole trip was picture perfect (minus the overcast weather and light rain).
